Our stay at Ladera exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Even before we arrived, Yvette in the concierge office was incredibly helpful coordinating details and making everything feel seamless. At the airport, Vaughn made meeting our transfer easy, and the reception team at Ladera was warm, professional, and welcoming. Our butler, Theo, was excellent — helping with bags and even shuttling us around the property one evening in the Moke when my wife was wearing heels. Dining at Dasheene was consistently fantastic. The wait staff remembered us night to night, and Akim went above and beyond by bringing out the best wine glasses from the wine room when we ordered a bottle. The spa at Élevé was outstanding, and we really enjoyed time at the Hideaway Bar, especially meeting Hilarious. Outside the resort, the Soufrière volcano tour and mud baths exceeded expectations and were a highlight of the trip. The room was incredible. The three-walled, open-air design was exactly what we expected and loved — the breeze, the views, and the connection to nature were all exceptional. Throughout the resort and on excursions, everyone was kind, respectful, and we felt completely safe. Ladera is a truly special place, and St. Lucia left a lasting impression on us. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it for a romantic and unforgettable getaway.

Just had a great brunch at Ladera. The food was delicious with plenty of well prepared dishes to choose from. The service was top notch, very friendly, attentive and professional. The views from the dining room are second to none. A stop at Ladera is a must do when you visit the island.

10/10 at Ladera—It was our 43rd year anniversary. We are a M/F couple who needed these 4 relaxing days to reconnect right after the busy holidays. Upon entering the resort, we had an immediate ‘White Lotus’ season 3 vibe. The reception/concierge team of Caroline, Abigail, Ariela took care of anything and everything! Views of the two Pitons and the Sugar Beach bay below with sailboats and yachts was our sunrise and sunset. We paid more for the Holiday Suite, but had a two level room with large private, heated pool. Some reviews mentioned mosquitoes as most units have a totally open wall, but we did not have more than a few bites. The open wall vibe was romantic, exciting and simply amazing! Turndown staff does bug repellent each evening, bed has large netting and keeping most lights off at nite really helps. (also consider buying a $45 ThermoCell on Amazon). A bonus being a nonstop flight from ATL!

Ladera is a resort that once you visit you know you will return. We stayed at a Heritage suite that has a large pool and hot tub. The weather in March is mid 80’s in the day and mid 70’s at night. It rains most nights. The staff is very friendly. We booked through a travel agent who got us an agent to greet us at the St Lucia airport and expedite us through immigration and customs. We had a chauffeur drive us in a Lexus to the resort. The drive is 18 minutes. Reminder if you get a rental they drive on the left side. The restaurant as well as our suite has spectacular views. We tried room service for breakfast. I recommend it if your wife likes to sleep in. Vianney arrived at 7:30 with an awesome breakfast. We will do this again. The staff including Ariela, Caroline, Vianney, and Hilarios quickly have become friends. We are already considering coming back next March. WiFi works great. My Cisco VPN connected fine. Cover unused food in your suite. The birds here are not shy. Our suite has 110v adapters.

Full scope review: Service: I had to ask for water several times. When we arrived, they bug sprayed which whaffed through the suite and choked us. The notice of this event was neatly sealed in and envelope. Grounds: These were really good and had a nice nature vibe. Their fish ponds needed cleaning, but the ambiance was good. Rooms: The view was to die for but the rooms were dated and needed to be refurbed and upated. It was nice to have a personal hot tub. Restuarant: Not impressive. Breakfast was good, but other than that I would find other options. Too bad as the view was just unreal. Overall, not worth the price. I would go to Sugar Beach on the next trip. Not the same view though.
