I enjoyed my time at the Royalton - it was like a cruise on land. When you arrive, the lobby and view are like a postcard. We were greeted with a refreshing cool towel and drink. Much needed after the long drive from the airport. The rooms could use a refresh. Our housekeeper, Verlim, more than made up for it. She is kind, thorough, and always has a beautiful flower in her hair. The service around the property was hit-or-miss. We felt like they had a lot of new staff members who were still getting acclimated. The service got better as the trip progressed, and we engaged more with the staff. The food was good - especially the curry goat, oxtails, and grilling station. The singer on Saturday evening (12/6) was AMAZING. He sang a variety of genres, and everyone enjoyed it. The most entertaining character on the property is Leo the Showman! We had so much fun with him. He wore a different costume each day and brought a smile to the faces of children and adults alike. The pools and beach area are beautiful, but close around 6pm or sundown. They could use more shade. The spa was one of the highlights of the stay. Highly recommend! They also have a nice gym. Overall, I would go back. Thank you to everyone at Royalton for a great experience!

I traveled to the Royalton St Lucia with a group of 7, and we were unfortunately all disappointed with our stay and would not return or recommend. Food - the food was very disappointing. We often skipped meals (especially breakfast and lunch) and opted for protein bars we brought from home as they were better than most options at the resort. There were a few items we did enjoy (pizza and chicken parm at Grazie and coconut shrimp from Diamond Grill), but other than that the quality of food was very low. Room - our room itself was nice. We stayed in room 7010 (Diamond Club swim up presidential suite), however, we had no hot water multiple days for showers. Service - overall very underwhelming. Very slow (even for island time). Often told “no”. Majority of staff did not seem pleased to be there and were not customer friendly. Pros - the beach was nice. However, there are many other resorts on the island with nice beaches and better service and value for money. Tip - if needing an escape for an edible, flavorful meal, grab a taxi 5 mins up the road to The Naked Fisherman for beautiful scenery, great service, and delicious food!

I visited Royalton St Lucia for a friend's birthday and we had a great time. The resort is beautiful with great amenities (all inclusive) and activities from multiple pools and nightly themed parties. The staff is so nice especially Leo The Showman. He is very personable and brings the party wherever he goes. There are great food options available for all preferences and lots of staff to help with your every need. The spa is a must do experience.

We paid over $24,000 for six guests to stay here for 6 nights (Friday to Friday), and the experience fell far below what a resort in this price range—and under the Marriott name—should deliver. Arrival Be prepared for a 2+ hour drive from the airport on narrow, winding, one-lane roads through rougher areas. After a long flight, it’s an exhausting start to the trip. Diamond Club Experience We booked Diamond Club, expecting a premium experience with reliable butler service. Instead, the service was inconsistent and unreliable. Several requests were acknowledged but never completed, and the follow-through did not match the advertised “premium” tier. Service Across the Resort Service throughout the resort was hit or miss: • At restaurants and the buffet, even basic drink refills or simple requests were often forgotten. • At the steakhouse, our group waited over 2 hours for food while loud karaoke played nearby, completely ruining what was supposed to be premium dining. • At the bars and food truck, we were ignored for 10+ minutes multiple times, and many menu items were unavailable even during normal hours. Many staff members were warm and friendly, especially toward our kids. But other times staff seemed unhappy, overwhelmed, or disinterested, making service feel unpredictable and inconsistent. Facilities & Infrastructure Issues • Guests all week were complaining about broken elevators in their buildings. Eventually our building’s elevator broke too, leaving us to carry two kids up four flights of stairs every day. • Our penthouse area (two rooms, three bathrooms) had intermittent hot water. It would get slightly warm at times but never stay hot, with showers constantly bouncing between lukewarm and cold. • None of the hot tubs on the property were actually hot. They had jets and bubbles, but the water stayed only warm at best—never reaching real hot-tub temperature. Spa The spa was one of the few genuine highlights. The hydrotherapy area with strong water jets and warm pools was relaxing, clean, and well-maintained. Overall Considering the $24,000+ cost, the Diamond Club upgrade, and the resort’s 4–5 star marketing, the experience was nowhere near luxury. The property feels more like a 2–3 star resort with major service and infrastructure issues. Marriott should seriously reconsider the management or ownership of this property before these ongoing problems continue to damage the Marriott brand. We would not return.

We stayed at the Royalton st Lucia for a week to enjoy a nice getaway for the family. Beautiful location with some great views. We highly recommend doing an excursion during your stay as it is a great way to see the island and make some great memories. We were in diamond club and had two butlers, Shamma and Merkel. They went above and beyond for us. They were the kindest, funniest, and most helpful people. They made our stay much better, and not only are they amazing at their job, they enjoy what they do making it 100 times better! The restaurants weren’t anything special. The food wasn’t too bad, but nothing that would blow you away. Out of all the restaurants our favourites were definitely the armadillo and zen for best food quality and service/experience.
