LUX* Grand Baie has such a distinctive style — the design is modern, elegant, and beautifully executed. The food is excellent, and the service always feels warm and attentive. The spa is definitely worth a visit; the Turkish hammam is one of my favourite experiences there — so relaxing and well done. Club Rouge is also a great concept and adds a fun, vibrant touch to the hotel. I’ve been to all the LUX* resorts in Mauritius and each one has its own charm. They all bring something different to the table, which is what I love most about the LUX* brand.

I had an amazing time at the cocktail-making class with Avishay! He was incredibly knowledgeable and made the experience fun from start to finish. I learned so much about local Mauritian spirits, fresh ingredients, and the traditions behind the island’s signature cocktails. Every drink we made was delicious, and Avishay’s passion for mixology really showed. Highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Mauritius!

Stayed with wife in ocean view room. Rooms are well appointed and it is a a new resort with a modern and classy aesthetic. For the price, the food is disappointing and the service is very slow. Sometimes frustratingly so. We decided to stay here because it's advertising makes it look like a lively, fun place. Quite the opposite. It is very quiet with minimal entertainment. Never more than 5 people in the night club. Food is average and drinks are standard. Our high expectations were not met in either of these categories. We would not stay here again, much better options at lower price points are all over the island.

We had a lovely stay at LUX Grand Baie* – the location is absolutely beautiful, and the hotel’s modern design is both stylish and welcoming. The incredible sunsets each evening were truly breathtaking and made the setting feel even more special. The staff were warm and friendly, and the food throughout the resort was very good – the Japanese-style restaurant was a particular highlight. We also really enjoyed the wide range of complimentary water sports, which were a great bonus and perfect for both adults and kids. A special mention goes to our butler Kishan, who was fantastic. He went above and beyond to take care of every detail and made our stay feel completely effortless. The hotel also has great facilities, including a well-equipped gym, a relaxing spa, and a kids club, though we didn’t use the kids club much ourselves. The only downside was some inconsistency in restaurant service. On three occasions, our orders were forgotten when not placed immediately – this happened twice with coffee and once with my child’s meal. A little more attentiveness would make a big difference. Overall, LUX Grand Baie* is a stunning hotel in a fantastic location. With a few service improvements, it would be truly exceptional. Thanks to the amazing sunsets, fun water sports, and Kishan’s exceptional hospitality, we left with some wonderful memories.

I enjoyed my time here, but I don’t think I would come back. We were told by the reception that the ice cream was free, but we were charged for it! Also, the some staff outside was extremely rude and not helpful at all. Other services: 4/5 The beach is beautiful and clean, but a bit small. The pools are nice, with several options, and usually not crowded. Breakfast was quite simple and nothing special. The café is super delicious and I highly recommend trying it! The view is 10/10 wow!
