Best place for a family resort. My son had food allergies and this has been the only stress free resort where they took his allergies in consideration and prepared everything with extra care and safety. Our waiter was Christian and he was amazing and so friendly. He would notice what we needed and before we even asked he would bring it to us. The food was so fresh in the buffet area all the time. The restaurants in all the locations were beyond amazing and food was incredible. I would so rate this 10/10 for families and couples.

Our New Year’s Couples getaway (Dec 30, 2025 – Jan 5, 2026) was unforgettable, largely thanks to the phenomenal staff who made us feel like family. At Nizuc Lobby & Arrival, William provided a personable check-in and room upgrade, while bellhops Ramon, Ernesto, and Eduardo gave us a warm "welcome home" greeting, treating our bags with respect alongside Maximo, who ensured seamless transit, and Alexis Morgan, who kindly recognized us at The Grand. Our Planning & Sales experience was flawless thanks to Melissa Moreno’s helpful credit activation, Josabeth’s seamless booking of three couples' massages and salon services, and Geraldine and Moira’s welcoming, attractive presentations.The Dining & Nightlife team truly elevated our stay. At El Manglar, hostess Cecila personalized our mornings by name, while Armando and Hecner memorized our orders and asked about our son, with great support from Brian. We enjoyed outstanding service from Isaiah and Alfredo at Palapa Asadero (don't miss the mashed potatoes and berry salad!), Denis at Momo Teppanyaki, and Guadalupe at the Nizuc Bar. When we struggled with New Years Eve dinner reservations, David from PR worked magic to secure our spot. That special Caravao NYE dinner was made flawless by manager Didre and our attentive team: Alejandro, Alejandro, Alexis, and Maximo. The out-of-the-world VIP NYE arena party was perfectly serviced by waitress Guadalupe, who quickly handled nearby spills.The energy continued at the Nightclubs, expertly led by manager Noe and driven by servers Alexis, Regina, Loida (the absolute kindest), Brian (who even found us on the dance floor at Noir), and Anabel, who expertly anticipated refills. Club servers Alexis, Briant, and Hebander kept our glasses full, security guards Carlos and Nestor kept us safe with a smile, and bartenders Andres, Jhonatan, Tony, and Oscar flawlessly served large crowds. A massive, heartfelt shout-out goes to Carlos Moreno—you welcome us back home each time we see you and are so genuine in your interactions. People like you are exactly what makes Moon Palace our choice each time !The Unique Day Club team was equally incredible, led by the ever-smiling manager Alexis. Servers Karla and Alison warmly remembered us from prior trips, Kenia anticipated our exact pacing, Melisa masterfully handled unruly guests, and bartenders Natanael and Ernesto crafted a delicious custom strawberry-coconut shot. Finally, special thanks to Moraima and Denisse at the Nizuc Spa for perfect manicures and pedicures, Jair for jogging back to return my husband's forgotten watch and phone, and golf cart driver Arturo for the animal spotting and Spanish practice. The soundtrack to our trip was phenomenal: DJ Wilbert delivered seamless transitions, and DJs Carlos and Katy were the sole reason we booked this trip after seeing their work last year on FB and Insta—their final night set at Noir kept the crowd pumping. We cannot wait to return to Moon Palace very soon to celebrate my 40th birthday!

Amazing holiday as always which is why we keep coming back to Moon Palace. Everything you could think of is catered for and included included full room service and world class entertainment. We saw the incredible David Magee last night who had flown in from Vegas to do a show in Nuzic. Staff go above and beyond and the complex and rooms are lovely. We are going to try Jamaica and Punta Cana next!

Our experience at Moon Palace Nizuc was unfortunately very disappointing. The food quality was very low with extremely limited variety. It felt like you had to force yourself to choose something just to eat, rather than enjoying the meals. The staff around the pools were very unprofessional. If you tipped them, they treated you well; if you didn’t, they completely ignored you. We were a group of 12 people and had a terrible experience with the tour desk. At 7:00 a.m., they called our room and woke us up, telling us we had a $400 credit we could use through the hotel. However, when we went there, they said that because only one person from our group was taking a tour, they would not provide any service at all. They also refused access to the other hotel (Splash) for that reason. The staff at the tour desk were very rude and disrespectful. Later, they changed their story and said we only had $100 credit, even though they had woken us up early for this. Another issue was the pool service: if you tip, you get attention; if you don’t, you are basically invisible. The only positive points were the Brazilian restaurant and the Japanese restaurant, which were both good. The coffee shop in the lobby was also nice. Overall, considering the poor food quality and the unprofessional and rude behavior of some staff, we would not recommend this hotel. We expected a much better experience.

Excellent all inclusive resort. We were there for 5 days and enjoyed every moment of it. It is very clean and well maintained. Staff are excellent. Multiple restaurants with great food. We got the beach view room which was even better with great views of sunrise daily.
