This is a super hotel. The rooms were well appointed and comfy with a nice balcony overlooking the pool. We liked having a fridge and kettle and reading lights. The staff were without exception all lovely, we felt very welcome. The breakfast options, were terrific, the evening meal options were wide and varied. There were themed nights in the restaurant so we had both a Mexican night and Chinese night whilst we stayed there. There were plenty of sunbeds at the poolside, and having towels you can take to the beach was ideal. WiFi was really good everywhere. I’d stay there again without question.

Stayed at the Neptune in May 2026. Will definitely be booking to go there again as it was such a wonderful experience. Wonderful, friendly staff nothing was too much trouble. Room and hotel was lovely and clean and the food was really good. I’m a very fussy eater and found something to enjoy every meal time. Food was of good quality also. Lovely pool with plenty of sun beds. Also, a great snack bar, food of good quality and not expensive. A big shout out to our waiter Romano who really looked after us.

Rooms could do with more lighting. Beds comfortable. Pool and pool bar opening times could be longer. Some people want a nice swim after a day exploring. Pool is small but not many swimming, plenty of loungers free. Location is ideal for Yumbo centre bars and shops, no issues with noise. A bit far from the beach if that's what you are going for. Bus stops at Yumbo centre good for exploring the area. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Food was great. Loads of choice and good quality. Gym equipment was a bit limited and some was out of action all week. Could do with a water chiller in there. We really enjoyed our stay there. Oh yeh, forgot about the showers instantly going from ok to scolding every few seconds. That was the only real gripe.

After 30 years in the high-end hospitality industry, I was pleasantly surprised by this exceptional establishment. The tranquil oasis it creates is well-deserved of its four-star rating. It offers a private club-like experience without any fees. The exceptional team working here is the true reason for its success. I cannot adequately praise the staff. Where do I start? I have been a frequent guest at Hotel Neptuno for nearly 18years, staying regularly and consistently over the last five years, but sadly the hotel has gone downhill. Before arrival, email the 3 week before But no reply so I phoned to specifically request a room with a round balcony. On arrival, I was placed on a lower level in a room with a very strong smell of bleach, which irritated my throat and chest. I asked to move to another room with the same type of balcony but was told nothing was available. However, a friend who arrived the same day was given a room on the 5th floor with a large balcony, which was extremely disappointing. It feels like every time I visit, I’m given the same poor-quality room. The food has also declined badly. Lunch has not improved — if anything, it has gotten worse. Breakfast is acceptable, but dinner is terrible. This hotel was fantastic 18 years ago, and still very good five years ago, but that standard has clearly slipped. For the prices you are charging, the quality simply does not match. We stayed at another hotel three days prior — Gran Canaria Princess — and the food selection there was 100% better. The only positive thing I can say about Neptuno is the location. Unfortunately, I won’t be recommending this hotel — and we won’t be back.
