We’ve just returned from the most amazing trip to Thailand, where we spent a week in Koh Samui staying at the Nora Buri Resort & Spa, and we were so impressed from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The rooms are set on a hillside, but you can request a buggy at any time to take you up to your room, which was always quick and easy. We had breakfast included, and the variety each morning was excellent - plenty of options to suit everyone. Even though we booked a standard double room, it was big, spacious, and very comfortable. One of the standout touches for us was the service around the pool. The waiters were so friendly and even remembered our usual order - it’s those little personal touches that really make a difference and elevate the whole experience. The hotel is about a 10 minute taxi ride from the main area with restaurants and nightlife. It’s not really within walking distance, but that wasn’t an issue for us as taxis were always readily available outside the hotel. There are a few restaurants nearby, but we preferred heading into the main area for a bit more atmosphere and buzz. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to return. It made our time in Koh Samui truly special.

The rooms were a great size we had so much space, the bathroom was spotless, and the decor throughout the whole site was amazing. Good breakfast with some changing options every day for variation. It is worth noting that a lot of the hotel is on a hill meaning those with mobility limitations may struggle - however there is a great buggy service run by the staff which will get you anywhere you need to be. We only used the hill pool and it was lovely, the view is stunning. It was very helpful to have the gym onsite which we made use of most days. We also had treatments in the spa, it was very peaceful in a beautiful space, and the two ladies did an amazing job we felt fantastic afterwards. All of the staff were incredibly sweet, friendly, attentive, and could not have been more helpful. I told them when booking that we would be there for my wife's birthday (and they had helped me book a private dinner for that day), and without arranging with them they left us a "happy birthday" in rose petals on the bed when they cleaned the room that day, and left a delicious piece of cake in our fridge! Nothing that we didn't like, although some of the gym equipment could do with a refresh. Overall everything about our stay was fantastic

We loved staying at the Nora Buri Resort. Everything was perfect. The staff were lovely and very attentive, always making an effort to ensure we had a great stay. The pools were beautiful and very well maintained. I honestly cannot find anything to complain about. We only experienced a short power outage of about 5 minutes on one day in the evening, but that was not a big issue at all.

Since we arrived at Nora Buri resort and spa, the staff have been exceptional!!! A special shout out to Aung from ‘the barge’ and Lester from ‘Manora’ breakfast bar who were so accomodating and friendly, it really made our time at the resort very special! The food was lovely, the massages and staff from the Andona spa were lovely. The cleaners were diligent and kept our living quarters clean and smelling lovely. Our view was lovely, with lots of birds and squirrels if you were up early enough. The gold buggy staff were quick at picking us up and taking us around the resort which gave the resort a special charm! The beach was awesome for collecting sea glass/sea ceramic. Overall we recommend this resort to all family and friends. Hope to return one day!!!

Very pleasant holiday. Beautiful pool area with breezes and views, and great restaurants. The resort is well cared for but showing signs of age and wear. Our room was spacious but needed a coffee table and lounge or easy chairs. Staff were absolutely fantastic and made our stay. Particular mention to Beam, Mook and Aum who looked after us with knowledge, warmth, and wonderful smiles.
