One of the best hotels we have been too. Can't fault it atal. Food and drinks are lovely. Love that sunbeds are allocated. Location perfect. Staff really helpful. Only thing that could be better is when busy at bar they could do with abit more staff. Also please sort some disabled toilets as really want to come back but not having disabled toilets was abit of a issue. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Especially for family's.

We had a very enjoyable stay overall. The hotel was nice, and the restaurants were excellent. But we experienced an issue with the curtain in our room. It was not installed properly, which allowed sunlight to come in early in the morning and wake up our children. We reported the problem to the reception several times over the course of our stay, and each time we were told it would be fixed. Unfortunately, no one ever came to address the issue. Aside from that, we had a great time, but we hope the hotel improves its maintenance and follow-through on guest requests.

We’ve just arrived home after an amazing family holiday at Olympic Lagoon Cyprus. The biggest highlight for us was definitely the food. The buffet was delicious every single day, with so much choice.Our 11m old baby has multiple food allergies, which can make travelling quite stressful, but Chef Fotis completely put our minds at ease. He went above and beyond to make sure our baby could eat safely, cooking special meals whenever we asked and always taking the time to check ingredients and accommodate his allergies. We honestly can’t thank him enough. If you happen to read this, Chef Fotis, you truly deserve recognition for the care and kindness you showed our family. All of the restaurant staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We’d also like to give a special mention to the gentleman who ran the Rock & Roll Bar. He always made such a fuss of our boys, making them laugh and smile every time we visited. Those are the little moments children remember. The girls running the mini discos were fantastic too. They were full of energy and enthusiasm, and it was lovely to see how much effort they put into entertaining the children each evening. The only thing we felt the hotel was missing was a little more daytime entertainment for younger children. We visited the kids’ club, but our son wasn’t want to stay without us, and parents aren’t allowed inside. It would make such a difference if there was a play area, a small playground, or even an indoor space where families could escape the midday heat for arts and crafts, soft play or a film. As the hotel is advertised as a fun family resort, we did feel it was lacking in this area. More activities and facilities for children during the day would really benefit the hotel. The only real negative from our holiday was the swimming pool management, and I feel it’s important for other parents to be aware of this. For the first six days of our holiday, our son was allowed on the waterslides and spent hours happily going up and down them without any issues. Then, halfway through our stay, we were suddenly told he was no longer allowed to use them. The rules had changed which felt inconsistent and unfair. My husband questioned this with the pool manager, but unfortunately she was dismissive, rude and showed no interest in listening. We also noticed that she would regularly tell the lifeguards to go and ask guests to remove inflatables from the pool, but she never approached guests herself to explain the rules. Thankfully, I later spoke with the General Manager, who was incredibly understanding, handled the situation professionally and resolved the issue quickly. Thank you to him for taking the time to listen and help. However, my biggest concern was the lifeguards. The lifeguards were sitting on their chairs using their mobile phones constantly instead of actively watching the water. There was very little visible scanning of the pools, no checking of blind spots and very little engagement unless it was to tell someone an inflatable wasn’t allowed (which was particularly confusing given that the hotel actually sells inflatables in the on-site shop). As parents, you naturally want to feel reassured that qualified lifeguards are paying attention, especially around busy family pools. Unfortunately, apart from Martin and a young female lifeguard with dark hair who were both attentive, friendly, constantly watching the pools and checking people were okay we simply didn’t feel that standard was being met. We also overheard several other families making similar comments during our stay. I genuinely hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously because everything else about our holiday was so good. The lifeguards should receive further professional training, and mobile phones should not be used while supervising the pool. It only takes a few seconds for an accident to happen, especially considering the pools were full of children and people under the influence of alcohol in hot weather, and vigilance around water is absolutely essential.

Wonderful all inclusive hotel. Helpful and nice staff, great location. The food was mostly very good, except for the American diner which did not have good burgers. The hotel is clean and well maintained, including the pool. The kids clubs are very nice and the evening shows are wonderful. For visitors with children - the Italian restaurant is only for 18+ which meant we could not enjoy it, we could only reserve one special restaurant, as the others were fully booked for all the days we stayed. The indoor pool is not heated, and the water was too cold for us to enter.

We stayed at the Olympic Lagoon in Paphos at the end of May 2026. The hotel's lobby has recently been refurbished and looks amazing. Very sleek and modern. There's also a very nice scent all over the hotel which adds to the experience. Our room was very modern too as it also had undergone a refurbishment. Very modern light and air con control and clean and tidy decor. The shower had a rain shower as well as a normal hand held. Bed was comfy and the TV was big and good quality. You can watch a lot of UK channels as well as sign into Netflix or YouTube. All in all very impressed with the room. The food is very tasty we basically had breakfast lunch and dinner all on the main buffet restaurant. There was a different theme each evening for the dinners. There is something for everyone and all cooked to a top level. We did eat lunch at the Rock and Roll diner one day and enjoyed that too. The milkshake was the highlight! The swimming pools were great for my daughter who is 6. There is a children's pool and 2 larger pools. There is also an adult only pool too but only reserved for guests staying in certain rooms. The water slides were also great for the kids which my daughter loved. Lots of lifeguards present which was reassuring. The location is also great as you walk out of the hotel to the sea you walk on the promenade and can see the sea and you can walk to Paphos the town in 20 mins. Lots of lovely views and a few small beaches if you want to swim in the Mediterranean. One thing I would say which could be improved would be to have more waiters at busy times at breakfast and dinner as it did sometimes take a long time to get our drinks as they're were very busy. Overall a great hotel and loved it! Special thanks to our room cleaner Carmen who did a fantastic job cleaning our room. Olympic Lagoon do room service 2 times a day 1 main one in the day and a turndown service in the evening. Also special mention to I think it was Ion the waiter at the reception bar who looked after us well. Thank you for a fantastic stay!
