Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort

We stayed five nights at this hotel and paid over 500 CHF per night. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet five-star expectations, especially considering the high price. We had previously stayed at another five-star hotel nearby, and the difference in quality and service was significant. The rooms were generally clean, but our first Deluxe Suite had an unpleasant smell in the shower area and poor lighting. After we addressed this, the staff were understanding and offered us a better villa, which we appreciated. The team was polite and tried to help whenever we raised concerns. However, service was not proactive. We often had to approach staff ourselves, signal to be noticed, or ask multiple times. At the lobby bar, several employees were present, yet we had to wave to place an order, and drinks took a long time to arrive. In a five-star hotel, attentive and proactive service should be standard. There were also inconsistencies in the restaurant. The buffet selection was generous and interesting, but sometimes the food was not properly kept warm, and even à la carte dishes were occasionally served lukewarm. Another inconvenience was the payment policy. Guests cannot simply charge food and drinks to the room and settle everything at check-out. Instead, you must leave a deposit in advance or pay immediately each time, which feels unnecessary and inconvenient in a hotel of this category. The second villa we moved to was located next to the lobby bar. Even after the bar had closed and there were no guests left, loud music continued late into the night, making it difficult to sleep. This should not happen in a five-star resort. The beach is also affected by low tide in the afternoon, which significantly limits swimming for several hours. Overall, the staff were friendly and willing to help, and many issues were addressed once mentioned. However, guests should not have to continuously point out problems in a hotel at this price level. For over 500 CHF per night, we expected a true five-star experience. In our opinion, the value for money and overall standard do not justify the five-star classification.

Our experience at this hotel was exceptional from the moment we started the reservation process. The service was top-notch, but what truly stood out was the amazing kid handling; the staff made our little ones feel incredibly welcome and well cared for. We spent hours enjoying the big pool, which was a major highlight of our stay. A special thanks to Takky and Nat at reception for their smooth check-in and warm hospitality, as well as Pare and Aun at Aqua Restaurant for their attentive and superb service. We would love to come back soon and highly recommend this property to anyone traveling with family!

Booked this hotel because we have a wedding to attend to at Sri Panwa Resort (TU rooftop bar) which is nearby the hotel. Glad we did. I had a genuinely great stay here. The highlight? Easily the best sunrise I’ve seen in a long time. Waking up to that soft orange glow over the water felt unreal, calm, quiet, almost cinematic. If you’re an early riser, it’s worth every minute. The balcony was another favourite spot. Spacious enough to actually sit and relax, not just stand and take a photo. Mornings with coffee, evenings with sea breeze, simple but perfect. The pool area is also a vibe. Easy to chill for hours without feeling crowded. Good balance between relaxed and lively, and the setting right by the beach makes it even better. The only complaint I have is that after checking the ALL ACCOR App few days after check out, this hotel is not eligible to collect status points and nights! What a shame. A bit disappointed there. Overall, it was rejuvenating without being boring….peaceful but still fun.

Currently staying here with my partner and 2yo son and it’s been an amazing experience. The pool, room, food both at breakfast and poolside have been great. The resort is very kid friendly with lots to do at the kids room as well as the kids pool. My son loved it. The service is professional and friendly - especially from Noona. She’s made us feel at home. We will be here for another few days but I’m already thinking about returning back for another stay next year! If you’re considering Pullman Panwa for your next holiday resort to stay at, definitely do it! You won’t regret it 😍

Uthit and Bank, who were part of the water sports activities crew, were very helpful and friendly. They helped my 70+ year old mom get into a kayak during high tide and made us feel incredibly well taken care of during the process. This happened on multiple days. Thanks so much for providing this experience. The resort itself is very nice, and the pool and gym are good. I would recommend staying here if you want to stay mostly at the resort and not do many excursions, as it is quite far from the happening spots. Very nice place to zen out and recharge.
