Staff are professional and welcoming, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. On-board activities add real value to the stay, especially the heritage areas and deck walks with sea views. Breakfast was good with a decent variety, and dining options were satisfying overall. Bottom line: a great choice for travelers looking for a stay with character and history—not just another standard hotel.

Our group iftar at the quayside at the QE2 was truly unforgettable. The setting itself was beautiful and unusual, with lights forming a stunning tent-like structure that created a warm and welcoming glow as the sun set. An oud player added to the relaxed Ramadan atmosphere, filling the evening with gentle, soulful melodies that perfectly complemented the occasion. The guests absolutely loved the ambience — it felt both elegant and intimate. After a long day of fasting, everyone arrived hungry, and as soon as the adhan was heard, tucked eagerly into the feast. The food and drinks were amazing and incredibly extensive: fresh salads, traditional starters, and a variety of meat and fish main courses that catered to various tastes. The dessert selection was nothing short of spectacular, offering the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Complementing the atmosphere was the wonderful staff, always on hand but never intrusive, making sure drinks were provided, plates were removed and generally being very helpful. Our guests left happy and completely satiated — a truly special iftar in a remarkable setting.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Queen Elizabeth 2. Staying on this historic floating hotel, once one of the world’s most luxurious ocean liners, was a truly unique experience. We were happy to receive a room upgrade, enjoy a welcome drink at the Pavilion, and even have sahur delivered to our room. The service was warm and thoughtful throughout our stay. We will definitely come back again.

All was good except for the check-in process. We waited almost an hour to check in, even though the queue wasn’t that long. Thanks to the Filipina manager who assisted us while we were waiting. she was very helpful and accommodating. The valet staff, especially Salim, was also polite and helpful. Breakfast was good as well. Overall, we still had a pleasant and relaxing stay.

We visited the exhibition at Queen Elizabeth 2 and it was an amazing experience. We were very excited to be there with the team, and the ambience inside is really nice. The whole place has a unique vibe—something you don’t usually get to see. The ship is huge—much bigger than we expected—and it’s hard to believe how massive and well-maintained it is. Walking through the areas and exhibition sections feels special, like stepping into history. If you’re into ships, heritage, or unique places in Dubai, this is totally worth visiting.
