The location is great if you are a sunset lover. The ambient is very laid back chill with tourists everywhere. Most of them are nice family types. Good spa that’s not overly priced. The room is chill type and locally style not top of the line clean but acceptable. The staffs are super helpful and friendly. The hotel is small with two pools which are the only activity at the accommodation. They also arrange boat trips to nearby island if you want. Next to the hotel is a walking street with tons of restaurant.

Make sure you tell them ahead of time what time you will arrive on the pier. We did not know to do this, and we had to drag our suitcases in the hot sun all over the island until we found the resort! This was not their fault at all, we just didn’t know. The resort is beautiful, and the staff were very friendly. I would suggest that they add more pool chairs, they only had about half the amount as needed so people were constantly having to share one pool chair or not being able to enjoy the pool at all because there weren’t enough chairs open We did have problems with our AC and our shower, but the staff were very attentive at getting it fixed for us Overall, for a four star resort, this is a really great option!

Best place to stay on Railay. Definitely stay on the west side, and we loved the beach view of the restaurant/breakfast eating area, how close it was to the main street, and that it had a separate entrance/path connecting it to the east pier. Airport transportation to and from was super easy, and the room and grounds were gorgeous. Loved the monkeys and the birds and frogs we saw sometimes :))

Railay Beach is absolutely stunning, and the resort’s location is fantastic. However, the staff could definitely use more training, especially in the restaurant. I stayed for a few days and was given different information each day, sometimes I could pay by card, other times it was cash only, and occasionally they’d just add it to the room bill. It was also quite difficult to get the staff’s attention to place an order, and the tables were never cleared. That said, the location and facilities still make it a worthwhile stay.

We arrived at 1:45 PM, with check-in scheduled for 2:00 PM, but we were told the room would not be ready until at least 2:30 PM because the previous guest had a late check-out (which should not affect incoming guests). We were traveling with two small children, including an 8-month-old baby who needed to eat and nap, but no flexibility was offered. We were simply told to wait at the restaurant. We had specifically booked a villa with a jacuzzi so our older child could enjoy a bubble bath, but after filling the tub, we discovered it was not working. We reported the issue at reception and were told a technician would come the next day at 10:00 AM. Unfortunately, we were only staying for one night, so this was pointless. The next morning, we returned to the room at 10:00 AM to wait, but no one showed up. When we called reception, we were told the technician had already come at 9:50 AM—meaning someone entered our room without permission while our personal belongings were inside. We were also told that the jacuzzi had never had any issues and was working perfectly. We tried again, and suddenly it was working. However, the main issue is not the malfunction itself—these things can happen—but the way it was handled. Denying the problem and making guests feel like they are mistaken or incapable is simply unprofessional. On top of that, the staff’s level of English is very poor, making communication unnecessarily difficult. The property itself is not bad and the location is good, but the service is definitely inadequate. Unfortunately, we would not return.
