DO NOT BOOK the Honeymoon Villa Room , this post is from July 2026 . I did it thinking it will be something special... well wrong . The Villa is very very outdated and very uncomfortable. The bathroom and shower are outside the room in a separate patio so if You need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night .... bad layout ... no lights next to the bed . Smell like it was closed for days , weeks .Needs to be upgraded ASAP if charging do much for it. I requested to change rooms without asking for a refund. The staff , Mam at the Lobby, was very nice and showed me a couple of rooms and I decided on a standard villa pool side .... it looks like it was just updated , very different feeling than the first room. Beautiful grounds .... green and plants everywhere. Monkeys didn't bothered. Breakfast buffet very standard and simple. Needs improvement . Location is GREAT, on the West side Beach and next to the Walking Street with restaurants. I took a Longtail boat from Krabi beach bouth the ticket for $ 100 bath and told them I needed to be dropped off at West Beach . The hotel is steps from where they drop You off. I had contacted the hotel and asked them to meet me at the beach to help with the suitcases and they did. In general a nice good experience,

The location is great if you are a sunset lover. The ambient is very laid back chill with tourists everywhere. Most of them are nice family types. Good spa that’s not overly priced. The room is chill type and locally style not top of the line clean but acceptable. The staffs are super helpful and friendly. The hotel is small with two pools which are the only activity at the accommodation. They also arrange boat trips to nearby island if you want. Next to the hotel is a walking street with tons of restaurant.

We arrived at 1:45 PM, with check-in scheduled for 2:00 PM, but we were told the room would not be ready until at least 2:30 PM because the previous guest had a late check-out (which should not affect incoming guests). We were traveling with two small children, including an 8-month-old baby who needed to eat and nap, but no flexibility was offered. We were simply told to wait at the restaurant. We had specifically booked a villa with a jacuzzi so our older child could enjoy a bubble bath, but after filling the tub, we discovered it was not working. We reported the issue at reception and were told a technician would come the next day at 10:00 AM. Unfortunately, we were only staying for one night, so this was pointless. The next morning, we returned to the room at 10:00 AM to wait, but no one showed up. When we called reception, we were told the technician had already come at 9:50 AM—meaning someone entered our room without permission while our personal belongings were inside. We were also told that the jacuzzi had never had any issues and was working perfectly. We tried again, and suddenly it was working. However, the main issue is not the malfunction itself—these things can happen—but the way it was handled. Denying the problem and making guests feel like they are mistaken or incapable is simply unprofessional. On top of that, the staff’s level of English is very poor, making communication unnecessarily difficult. The property itself is not bad and the location is good, but the service is definitely inadequate. Unfortunately, we would not return.

Had a wonderful experience at Railay Village Resort. Started with a seamless pickup at the airport with a lunch stop on the way to the pier and a short boat ride to Railay Beach. Staff were friendly and efficient, the resort grounds were beautiful and our pool side room was spacious, clean and well appointed. We were able to take advantage of the rental sea kayaks at the beach and enjoyed the breakfast buffet. We also enjoyed joyed the massage services offered at the spa. Definitely be my choice when we return to Krabi!

I booked two standard rooms and one villa with a pool, expecting the villa to be the highlight. Shockingly, the cheaper rooms were in much better condition. The villa was dirty and poorly maintained (see attached photos). ​The Lows: ​Service: Most staff were rude and uninterested. The only exception was one friendly lady at reception whose name I unfortunately didn't catch. ​Dirty Facilities: The pool water was visibly dirty. ​Overpriced: The pool bar prices are so inflated that most guests buy drinks at a nearby shop instead. ​Special Occasions: We mentioned several times it was a friend's birthday, but the hotel did absolutely nothing. ​The Exit: Even asking for the beach transfer felt like a burden to the staff; the driver was openly indignant. ​The Highs: ​The breakfast was actually delicious. ​The location is stunning and perfect. ​Final Verdict: Such a shame to see a beautiful location ruined by terrible management. I will never book here again and do not recommend it.
