We came to this hotel as a group of 12 ladies from England to celebrate my birthday. The location of the hotel is stunning and it has everything you need in terms of facilities. The rooms were a little bit tired and I was surprised that we didn't have more bedding. We've had to ask for additional sheets to keep comfortable during the night. The beds were also a little bit hard for me personally!! I want to make a special mention to Ramazan who's is one of the restaurant staff. He has absolutely made our holiday, he is friendly, attentive and nothing has been too much trouble. If anything he has been able to know what we know even before we did!! He has always made sure all of us could sit together and invested so much time getting to know us, and with absolutely no judgement on how loud/joyous we can be at times! 😜 We now also have some fab photos with him to remember this time. Eren has been working alongside him during some of our visits and although he does not speak as much of our language, he has also been attentive and very friendly. The food has been amazing and we were also surprised that although we came part way through the half term, we have still had plenty of space on sun beds or wherever we chose to spend the day.

Beautiful hotel & wonderful services! We stayed in Salmakis for one week during our vacation in Bodrum. The hotel, scenery and landscape is very beautiful. We saw windmills between Bodrum and Gumbet from the hotel and had a chance to walk up to the hill. The services were exceptional. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The waiters at the restaurant always greeted us and made us feel like home. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious and there were a lot of numbers of dishes and a variety of food and snacks. Entertainement’s staff were so fun and made an incredibly pleasant atmosphere. It was very easy to walk to a small port nearby the hotel. We hopped on a (boat) water taxi to go to the old town from there. We had a wonderful experience and a great vacation when we stayed at Salmakis. We would highly recommend this hotel and cannot wait to go back there again.

We have had a fantastic time at the Salmakis hotel, food amazing, service fabulous if you meet Ramazan and Eren you will be so well looked after. The animation team were great fun, Dilara and Husein were very inclusive and made our trip so enjoyable. Also the bar team Taner, Eyup, Bilal!!! Made to very special xx

I recently stayed at Salmakis Resort & Spa in Bodrum and overall had a good experience. The hotel is in a beautiful location, with a nice private beach and stunning views of the bay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and most have lovely sea views. The pool area is large and relaxing, and the bar serves great cocktails — definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is calm and absolutely pleasant. That said, there are a few downsides. The Wi-Fi isn’t strong, especially in the rooms, which can be frustrating if you need to stay connected. Also, the walk from the beach back to the rooms can feel quite long and uphill, especially if you’re staying on the third or fourth floor. As for the food, it’s fine but could be a bit more flavorful. the snack bar by the pool actually has tastier options than the main restaurant. Despite these, Salmakis is a great place to relax, enjoy the sea, and have a comfortable stay. With slightly better Wi-Fi and food, it would be perfect!!

Check-in was ok. The place looks ok but dated and decaying in some areas. The door has peeling faded paint and cracks. Our room had a light bulb out they said they would send someone, and nothing was done. The hallways have dim lighting perfect for a scene of a slasher or horror movie. The breakfast is crap. It's from 7am to 11am. Arrive after 10 am. There is only sweets and cheese left. Staff is not helpful or even willingly to get an option. All they say is no more finish. Luckily, I always pack proteins for these situations. Try asking about arranging a private car for my next stop. They want only luxury transport. Found online cheaper transfer. The beach is a hike from the reception if that is where you are staying. Do not recommend it.
