Our stay at Sea Diamond was exceptional. It was the "base" for our week of exploration of the northern part of the island and we wanted a hotel that had quality rooms and food, was clean, quiet, elegant, and did not feel like a huge resort. The Sea Diamond delivered exactly that and more. -probably the best price for a room with a jacuzzi in a 5* hotel. -huge, well furnished, very clean room. -excellent cleaning and housekeeping. -the food was delicious, and many times it looked and tasted like it came out of a Michelin Star restaurant. -everything, including the central garden is well taken care of and every space is clean. -the hotel is located away from main streets and public beaches so no noise/chaos. -stunning terrace overlooking a beautiful & quiet lagoon (not the best for swimming) Plus: the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Thank you Niha (reception), Enzo and Lanedo at the restaurant, and Anabelle and Vanisha at the SPA and to all other members of the staff for making sure our stay went perfect.

Absolutely beautiful place, great service, food and facilities. The beach and pool area was stunning and very relaxing. Plenty of nice things to do such as a lovely spa treatment, gym, books to read, kayaking on the beach. Beautiful rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Special thanks to Manav (one of the managers) with his exceptional service. So intentional with getting to know/ looking after his guests! Very professional hotel, would definitely recommend.

Our experience at Sea Diamond Boutique Hotel & Spa was truly exceptional. We visited to celebrate a birthday, and every detail was flawlessly organized, making the occasion even more special. A heartfelt thank you to Neevedeeta, who welcomed us with remarkable warmth and professionalism. She is exceptionally well-skilled at the reception, creating a flawless first impression and making guests feel genuinely valued from the very first moment. She went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs, showing genuine dedication and care. From check-in to check-out, everything was perfectly arranged thanks to her efforts. The fine dining restaurant is an absolute must-visit. The exquisite dishes prepared by Chef Sandeep were outstanding—each one a delight and an experience in itself. Special appreciation also goes to Mr. Lanedo and Mr Dilshad at the restaurants, whose professionalism and welcoming nature ensured that nothing was overlooked. Lastly, our sincere thanks to Mr. Manav, the QA Manager, who was extremely receptive to feedback and suggestions, demonstrating a true commitment to excellence. Overall, we extend our deepest gratitude to every member of the staff who contributed to making our stay so memorable. The level of care and hospitality we received was truly commendable.

The rooms are beautiful, and the architect has done a great job with the property. It is clean, and the housekeeping does a good job. The hotel gave us a cake for our special occasion. Overall, the hotel appears conflicted in its identity. Management policies such as charging for a single coffee pod or a glass of ice in the room seem overly strict. This was unexpected based on other experiences on the island. During check-in, the receptionist gave us a brief tour of the pool and room, but did not mention other amenities. The desserts and cocktails are enjoyable, although the latter are somewhat expensive. For example, a coconut costs 700 MUR, whereas it costs 150 MUR outside. The food quality is mixed—some dishes stand out, though curries (Thai curry with broccoli!) were distasteful. Breakfast presented issues with flies on fruit and birds eating the bread, which staff did not address. This appears to be a result of the open layout. The staff who managed the bar at the start of our stay made amazing coffee for breakfast. We had a lovely conversation, and he was also great with cocktails. Later in our stay, a different bartender responded rudely when asked for coffee for breakfast and asked us to pay. This was not previously requested, though the inconsistency was surprising. The location is dull and somewhat remote; I found Grand Baia livelier. I recommend bringing water and snacks if you stay at this hotel. I regret choosing this hotel !

We had high expectations and paid a lot of money for a room with a spa bath. It was a special occasion so we decided to skimp elsewhere and pay more money to stay here for just two nights as its all we could afford. I've never had a room with a jacuzzi before and I thought I'd feel like royalty. Unfortunately when we came to use the spa bath the first night, there was a dirty sewer type smell and we quickly realised the water was coming out yellow/green. We called reception and someone came to our room after about half hour. One staff tried to say it was the glow from the lights! Despite the double sinks being filled up with one cold and one hot water and you could see the difference. They ran it for a while and were in our room perhaps an hour ish. We just had to sit there and so our evening was pretty done by the time they left. We complained to reception the next day (our last night) as we felt like the money we paid for the room was just for this amenity. It took all day for us to speak with the manager as we didn't stay at the resort all day, apparently had been looking for us all day but we did say we were heading out. We got offered a meal at the restaurant that night for compensation as we were on a B&B deal. Not a free choice, no, but from the set menu that's included with half board. We felt like this wasn't going to compensate for the amount we paid for a faulty amenity. We asked if we could have a drink added on to that and reluctantly we were offered a cocktail each. When we converted the price of the meal to what we paid for one night that we effectively lost, it wasn't even a quarter of what we paid. We of course asked for a refund of this night or partially and told this wasn't possible. Even funnier, when we got to the restaurant to have our meal, we weren't allowed to pick our own drinks, we had to have the included cocktail for half board guests!! And to top it off, the meal was pretty poor. Very bland. Anyway we went to use our newly fixed spa bath and while the water was clear the smell was still apparent which was very off putting. And the "luxury" room was adjoined to apartments above, and for hours we could hear upstairs stomping around. And the beach as others have said isn't very desirable, its muddy water and shallow everywhere. This isn't what I'd expect for what I paid, this was my 30th birthday which I'd planned for years. I didn't spend much on other accommodation so I could do this and I just feel it doesn't meet expectations. If this was my honeymoon or something and had to be there for a week, I'd be heartbroken. I am usually one to stay at low 2/3* resorts and find the good in all of them, it's ironic when I've spent the money, I wish I hadn't :(
