The Shangri-La resort became our favorite place in the world to relax and enjoy the sea. We visited for 7 nights in late June, which is winter and off-season but for us was the perfect time. Temperature was about 26C and mostly sunny with the occasional 10 min showers. The resort was not empty yet due to the vastness of spaces you feel like you have your own private island. This especially true on their private island,where we went daily to enjoy the beach. The beach services there were 10/10, Juahan took very good care of us every single day. We enjoyed an upgrade to the Frangipani Junior Suite which meant we could enjoy the sunrise over the ocean from our bed. Another benefit was havin breakfast on the beach at Coco's beach house. We tried all the item s and everything was delicious, a must try are the Benedict and the Shangri-La bowl. Another highlight for us was how great their Kids Club program is. All the staff there are super friendly and have prepared a selection of amazing activities for kids. Our 7y son had golf, paddle and Kayak lessons plus night crab hunts. We cannot wait to comeback here as Shangri-La redefined what a vacation means for us.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent stay at Shangri-La Le Touessrok! The resort is stunning, with beautiful beaches, luxurious rooms, and breathtaking ocean views. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. A special thank you to Brinda from Housekeeping for keeping our rooms spotless and beautifully maintained throughout our stay. We’d also like to thank Devika for her kindness and for always helping us with tea and coffee at breakfast. A big thank you as well to Varsha at Saffron, who was always smiling and made every visit even more enjoyable with her warm and welcoming attitude. A truly memorable experience, and we would definitely return. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Shangri-La Mauritius was so incredible that I genuinely felt depressed when we got back home… joking, of course. But honestly, that’s how hard it was to leave. From the moment we arrived, we knew this vacation would be special. Jean Marc welcomed us with such warmth and professionalism that we immediately felt at home, except this home happened to be in paradise. The resort itself is simply breathtaking. The views are spectacular, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and every corner feels like a postcard. As a couple, we spent most of our time at the adults-only pool, which quickly became our favorite spot thanks to its stunning scenery and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was outstanding, with an enormous variety of options to suit every taste. What made it even more special was the staff. Every morning they greeted us with genuine smiles, always making sure we had a great table with a beautiful view and ensuring we had everything we needed. A special thank you to Chef Gina and the Lebanese chef, whose food and hospitality were exceptional. Miss Sharda was also wonderful and consistently went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Dinner was another highlight. Having five different dining options each evening meant every night felt unique, and every restaurant delivered an excellent experience. Our personal favorite was Saffron, which was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. One particularly memorable moment came during an Italian-themed evening at TSK. I had been hoping to try a Nutella dessert, but unfortunately it had run out by the time I got there. Miss Sooneeta noticed my disappointment and went out of her way, spending considerable time searching until she managed to find one for me. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a perfect example of the extraordinary service we experienced throughout the resort. Thank you, Miss Sooneeta. The evenings were equally enjoyable. Every other night there was live music at the Sega Bar, creating an amazing atmosphere where guests eventually found themselves dancing and enjoying the night together, especially when Toto was performing. We also loved spending time at Coco’s by the beach during happy hour, enjoying some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. A special thank you to Mr. Ravi Apado, whose kindness and attentiveness made those moments even more magical. The rooms deserve special recognition as well. They were immaculate, beautifully designed, tastefully decorated, and maintained to the highest standards. The housekeeping and room service teams were consistently professional and exceeded our expectations every day. What truly sets Shangri-La Mauritius apart is not only the beauty of the resort but the people who work there. Every staff member we encountered genuinely cared about making our stay unforgettable, and they succeeded. Thank you to everyone who made our vacation so special. A highlight of the stay was access to the exclusive Île aux Cerfs, a dreamlike island with crystal-clear waters and picture-perfect scenery. I had an amazing stay at Shangri-La Le Touessrok Mauritius. The service was truly outstanding from the moment we arrived — very warm, welcoming, and respectful of all cultures. We were even offered wine or a non-alcoholic option upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of options. There are three restaurants included in the half-board package, each with its own unique and cozy atmosphere, which made every dinner feel special. The room was beautiful, and the overall service throughout the stay was consistently great. The resort facilities are very well maintained and offer something for everyone — it’s perfect for couples and families. I would say it may not be the best choice for solo travelers looking for a more social or lively scene. One of my favorite things was the beach service — absolutely amazing. There’s even a service button at your beach chair, so you can easily call for anything you need without leaving your spot. Such a thoughtful and convenient detail! Just a small note: the resort is located on the east side of the island, so if you’re planning to explore, keep in mind that most activities in the north and west are a bit far. It’s a good idea to plan your activities accordingly, especially if you prefer staying around the resort. Finally, a big thank you not only to the hotel but also to Mauritius — such a beautiful country with incredibly friendly and welcoming people. Highly recommended
