I celebrated my 40th birthday at Silavadee Pool Spa Resort in Koh Samui, and it was truly unforgettable. The resort offers breathtaking ocean views, beautiful private villas, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it perfect for relaxation. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to make our stay special. I would like to give a special mention to two staffs, Bee and Dream for their wonderful service and fun conversations we had with them. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of fresh options, and the infinity pools overlooking the sea were unforgettable. Overall, Silavadee is a stunning luxury retreat that combines natural beauty, comfort, and outstanding service. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

We had an amazing stay at Silavadee Resort and would definitely recommend it for a relaxing holiday in Koh Samui. We stayed in an ocean-view room, and the views were absolutely beautiful waking up to the sea every morning was a real highlight. The room was excellent: very comfortable, spotless, and finished to a high standard. Housekeeping was great and paid attention to every detail. They provide useful extras such as slippers, beach bags, yoga mats, and everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Through the resort app, you can easily request extra towels, toothbrushes, makeup-removal kits, or other amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. There are golf buggies available to take you around the resort, which is very convenient, especially because the property is quite large and hilly. Reception is always staffed, and there is secure parking with 24/7 surveillance. One of the things we liked most was the resort app. You can check all the available services, contact reception, book spa treatments, reserve restaurant tables, request room items, and organise much of your stay directly from your phone. Very practical and well designed. The facilities are fantastic: two swimming pools, a private beach, four restaurants, a spa, a small gym, and activities such as kayaking and Muay Thai classes. There are also different types of accommodation, from regular rooms to villas with private pools, so it is suitable for couples, families, or special occasions. 🏝️ The food was excellent. We highly recommend including breakfast: the buffet has a huge variety of options for all tastes, including made-to-order omelettes, salmon, lobster rolls, fresh fruit, pastries, and genuinely excellent barista coffee. ☕️ Breakfast was one of the best parts of our stay. Dinner was also very good, with plenty of choice and high-quality ingredients across the resort’s restaurants. During our stay, there was a wedding at the hotel. It only occupied part of the beach for a few hours and did not really disturb us, but the hotel still gave us chocolates as an apology for any possible inconvenience, a very thoughtful gesture. The wedding also included fireworks in the evening, which looked beautiful. It seems like a wonderful place for a wedding or special celebration. At the end of August, the hotel was very quiet and peaceful, which made the experience even more relaxing. The resort offers a free shuttle service to Chaweng and another nearby area, which is very useful. There is also a motorbike-rental shop close to the hotel that we highly recommend if you want to explore the island independently rather than relying on Grab. The only small negative point is that the gym is very small, so it may feel limited if you are used to doing full workouts with a lot of equipment. Overall, Silavadee is a beautiful, peaceful, and very well-run resort with outstanding service, excellent food, great facilities, and lots of thoughtful details. We would happily return and highly recommend it! 🌴✨

We stayed in the Silavadee Pool Spa Resort at the end of our 3 week trip through Thailand. This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. Service was great, rooms were perfect and the location, WOW. Both swimming pools had the best sea views (+ were really clean!) and the private beach (with snorkeling options) topped it all off. Breakfast, a combination of a la carte and a buffet, was the best we had in a long while. My girlfriend and I already visited a lot of hotels, but we both agreed this was the best hotel we ever stayed at! Thanks for making our stay so special

We stayed here in May 2026 for 5 days for a wedding. The resort is beautiful and the service was incredible, we would stay here again and recommend it to others. We also got lucky and got to be part of releasing some baby turtles as part of the conservation program. The food and the team was friendly, helpful and will go the extra mile.complimentary happy hour was awesome! The cot and linen for our baby was provided by the resort and of a high standard which made our trip seamless. High chairs were also provided which made all meals really easy. A special shout out to the General Manager Tristan, the babysitter Dew and Manee for making the trip memorable.

**Definitely not a luxury experience – extremely disappointing** We booked this hotel for our honeymoon and paid approximately €4,000, expecting a genuinely luxurious and special experience based on the price and the way the property is presented online. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different. The biggest disappointment was the overall condition and cleanliness of the property. The entire resort felt very dated, poorly maintained and run-down. There was visible dirt in many areas throughout the property, and even our towels were dirty. For a hotel positioning itself as a luxury resort, and especially at this price point, this was simply unacceptable. There was also significant noise due to ongoing construction work, which made it even more difficult to relax and enjoy the property. The gym was very poorly equipped and again far below what we would expect from a hotel in this category. Unfortunately, the service did not make up for it either. Communication with several members of staff was extremely difficult due to very limited English. Simple requests were often not understood, orders were forgotten or never arrived, and on several occasions we received the wrong food or items. We completely understand that English is not everyone's first language, but an international luxury resort should ensure that basic communication and service work smoothly. Overall, there was an enormous discrepancy between the impression created online, the price being charged and the actual experience on site. We have stayed at many luxury hotels and resorts around the world, and this simply did not feel like a luxury property. We were so disappointed and uncomfortable that we ultimately decided to leave rather than continue our honeymoon here. We communicated this to management and were even willing to pay for the nights we had already stayed, while requesting a refund for the remaining nights. Unfortunately even the management hasn’t been professional to us and left us during our conversation. Paying approximately €4,000 and finding yourself in a property that feels dirty, run-down, noisy and poorly maintained, combined with inconsistent service, is simply not acceptable to us. Sadly, what was supposed to be a special honeymoon experience became a major disappointment. Based on our personal experience, this property does not justify its pricing or its positioning as a luxury resort. We would not return and cannot recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine five-star luxury experience.
