Very family friendly, they are v welcoming to children Hotel was exceptionally clean EXCEPT pool. Half of main pool was filthy, black stuff floating around, grout black. We stayed over the other side of pool. Cleaning staff, bar staff, kids club were superb and friendly. Big endorsement for Julia in kids club who was amazingly thoughtful, friendly, kind to all the children. She deserves a promotion. All kids raved about her. Reception staff were a mix. Some very nice but ladies there were disinterested and rude. Dining staff were friendly overall and admirably hard working. BUT food in all inclusive Breakfast and Dinner was shockingly poor. It was poor quality, meat like leather, poor variety, definitely kitchen/chef needs a complete overhaul and quality review. A gripe I would have is though there was ample water, juice, tea and coffee available at breakfast as you would expect… there was non available for dinner… there was just a counter where you were expected to pay for all drinks… this is obviously a trick to make money and is not fair. Rooms were very nice and as expected… very well maintained. Hotels location was perfect… you couldn’t ask for better in terms of amenities. So overall…. Nice hotel except for food and cleanliness of main pool being most in need of improvement.

Literally just got in the door from a week staying at this hotel. We booked as a family of 6 with 2 children. Very much not a child friendly hotel. No kids club no floaties in the pool no balls around pool area. Absolutely nothing for children to do. The pool was very much an elderly people dominated area. With the lifeguard telling the young child to stop jumping in. Very much a swim laps in the pool and consume as much alcohol as u can at this place. Highly recommend for adult only parties not so much for families. Was also extremely disappointed when we shared our honest views on the Facebook page the comments were removed and we were removed from the group!! Very much 1 sided on everything. Again as adult only parties Highly recommended . Not child friendly spent a whole week there and other than lifeguard saying no balls floaties or jumping in we spoke to one member of staff which happened to be today! If your a family id Highly recommended looking elsewhere

Me and my friend (both 19) came to stay at this hotel for a chill holiday last week. We found that the hotel itself was lovely, the rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. It was also really close to the beach which was very nice, and had a big pool with a bar (albeit the drinks there were quite overpriced). Unfortunately, upon our arrival we were made to feel very uncomfortable by Wayne, a member of MCP. We were immediately approached as we walked in the door, and told to come and talk to him after we had checked in. Looking back on it we realise he worked at the hotel but not for the hotel, and we had no obligation to talk to him, however he said he was going to talk to us about events, which we assumed was a welcome chat for all guests. Instead he tried to get us to buy his club pass and was telling us what to and not to do on a night out. This is all well and good as we understand many people our age go to Magaluf to enjoy the strip and nightlife. However this was not the case for us and it was frustrating that it was assumed just because we are in that age group. There was no asking of what we were planning to do just an assumption that we would be drinking lots and making poor decisions. When we then disclosed that we were not planning on going out at all, we felt heavily judged and told we should go since we're here now. When we said no once again he recommended we go to a show which he said he normally suggests for families with young kids which felt extremely passive aggressive. We are young adults and deserve to be treated as such whilst still respecting our decisions. Instead we were made to feel guilty and childish for not following the 'norm'. I would say there was a 50/50 split between younger groups of friends and families or older couples, who were clearly not being spoken to by him upon their arrival. We would have appreciated at least being asked what our plans were, rather than simply assuming inappropriate things such as that we were going to go skinny dipping at 5am. It was a shame as this tainted our experience of the hotel, when actually he isn't really part of the staff and in my opinion, shouldn't be there promoting drinking and clubbing and giving the hotel a bad reputation. Other than that we had a great time! It got quite noisy at around 5-6am each morning with drunk people coming back from that club, but that was to be expected, especially since we guessed our floor was mainly filled with groups of the same age. The WiFi was not great in our room either but the TV worked great and we were able to watch the world cup every evening.

Disappointing Stay – No Longer the Family Hotel It Used to BeOverall Rating: ⭐⭐ / 5The Nostalgia vs. Reality. We booked Sol Guadalupe because my partner had fond memories of staying here as a young boy, making it a very special, sentimental trip for us. Back then, it was a wonderful, family-friendly hotel. Unfortunately, times have changed drastically. This hotel is no longer suitable for families.Atmosphere and Noise LevelsThe hotel is now overrun with large stag and hen parties, resulting in a loud, drunken atmosphere.Nightlife: Parties raged in the corridors during the late night and early morning hours.Disruption: Guests were constantly slamming doors, running in and out of rooms, and playing loud music until at least 5:00 AM.Security: Management does not seem to man the corridors. People are completely free to do as they please without consequence. The Location: While the hotel sits in a great location, it is far from quiet. Constant music and fireworks will keep you up all night. The only way to get any sleep here is if you are drunk enough to sleep through the chaos.Rooms and CleanlinessTo be fair, the hotel does have some positive points. The property is clean throughout. The hotel rooms are pleasantly spacious.Food and DrinkWe booked the half-board package, which turned out to be a complete waste of money. The Buffet: We tried the breakfast buffet once and the evening meal once. The quality was so poor that we never returned.Dining Out: We ended up paying to eat out at local restaurants for every single meal. The Bar: Drinks at the hotel bar are quite expensive, and several staff members noticeably struggle with basic customer service. The Saving Grace: Magaluf ItselfWhile the hotel let us down, the surrounding area was lovely. Magaluf beaches are absolutely beautiful, incredibly clean, and there are plenty of fantastic restaurants nearby to choose from.Final Verdict: If you are looking for a peaceful holiday or a family-friendly vibe, look elsewhere.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location is perfect — less than a five-minute walk from the beach and close to all the main attractions, yet still peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were beautifully maintained, cozy, and cleaned thoroughly every day. The staff truly made my stay exceptional. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. A special shout-out to the security man — such a wonderful person who made me feel safe and welcome throughout my stay. His positive energy and professionalism really stood out! Overall, this hotel exceeded all my expectations. Excellent service, a great atmosphere, and an unbeatable location. I’ll definitely be returning to this hotel!
