One of my best hotel experiences! As a Hilton Gold Member, I received an incredibly friendly welcome at check-in and was upgraded to a junior suite with a private pool. The extremely courteous lady at the reception desk gave me a wonderful tour of the resort while the final touches were being prepared in my room. The buggy ride from reception was very informative and incredibly friendly. The junior suite itself is breathtaking, and I had a lovely welcome amenity in my room. The hotel beach and the entire resort are very well-maintained and exceptionally tasteful. The sauna in the spa area was very relaxing. I was particularly impressed by the delicious and plentiful breakfast. I was truly delighted by the friendly staff and the quality of the food. For dinner at the Malva restaurant, I chose the extensive tasting menu. It was varied and delicious, and the staff presented and explained each course excellently. My only criticism was that the dinner took a bit too long. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire stay and would have loved to stay longer! A Perfect Stay – Exceeded All Expectations! My stay at this hotel was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and genuine hospitality of the staff. Everyone was attentive and eager to ensure that every part of my visit went smoothly. The hotel itself is stunning—modern, clean, and beautifully designed. My room was immaculate, with a comfortable bed, great lighting, and all the amenities I could possibly need. I really appreciated the attention to detail, from the fresh linens to the complimentary refreshments. The service here truly stands out. The staff were always smiling and ready to help, whether it was with dining suggestions, local directions, or simply checking in to make sure I was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with plenty of fresh options and quick service.

A scenic and peaceful escape, though dining prices take the shine off… Susona Bodrum is a beautiful hotel with genuinely friendly staff and some of the best views along the coast. The setting feels exclusive and serene, especially around the small private docks designed for sunbathing. We visited during a quieter period and often had the space entirely to ourselves, which made it feel wonderfully private and relaxing. The rooms and grounds are spotless and clearly very well maintained. Breakfast is excellent, offering a wide selection of fresh, tasty dishes. A few more options for guests with dairy allergies would be appreciated, and coconut yoghurt would be a simple but welcome addition. The main downsides were the noise from a neighbouring hotel that hosts late-night entertainment and occasionally runs past curfew, as well as the food and drink prices, which feel excessive even by luxury standards. A locally made wine that costs 900 TL a bottle at the vineyard was listed at 600 TL a glass here, which felt difficult to justify. The music at the pool bar was also a little too loud given how quiet the area was at the time. Despite these points, I left grateful for the experience. Susona offers a (mostly) calm, scenic setting with attentive service, and the tranquillity may partly be due to the high dining prices keeping it quieter than nearby resorts such as the DoubleTree, which seemed much busier.

When we enter to check in at midnight they try to upsell us a better room. We travelled a lot and to do this at midnight was crazy. Early warning signs. The food costs unbelievable, coming from a person who finds around the whole world. The cost of a normal pasta at lunch would be £40 £50, and the food is mediocre. Seeing that you are in the middle of nowhere and you have to order lunch, dinner. Oh by the way the menus the same for lunch dinner and the one fancy restaurant that is open. The breakfast is included but when I mean it's unbelievable how and what they serve you. For example if they serve you a side order of avocado it's literally one teaspoon of avocado. For example if you ask for an omelette it may be half an egg omelet. Madness. I never really do reviews but I really have to show everyone that's thinking about booking this place what is really like. Services really slow. The hotel is really nice, luxury and good views. But for the most one or one of the most expensive hotels in the area it's shocking. To conclude this is expected in Turkey.

We stayed Oct. 6 to Oct. 11. The resort is secluded and beautiful! Lovely infinity pool overlooking the Aegean. The beach club pool is more lively with music and Alps took amazing care of us there! Everyone else at the hotel was so nice and helpful, especially Sena who greeted us each morning and made sure we had a great start to our day. The hotel is also a short taxi ride to to Bodrum city center, it is about 5-10 minutes and the cost is about 500 TL. We can’t wait to return!
