We stayed at the THB El Cid in September 2026 and it was so great. We paid for the most basic room and we were so grateful to be upgraded to a very special double balcony room with a sea view. We had the half board package. The breakfast was great, we had the full english items which were great, especially the hash browns plus i tried the continental options which were just as good. The dinner was good too with an expansive range of options which catered to me who is a bit more adventurous and my fussy partner who enjoyed the chips and pizza every night. Dessert were delicious too. The room cleaners were amazing with our room having a thorough clean each day and new towels. The pools were lovely, we especially enjoyed the pool at the back as it was a bit quieter with lots of beds available and none of the bed reserving in the morning to worry about. We tended to go out in the morning and come back in the afternoon to sunbath and we always found beds to choose from. There is a spar shop directly opposite the entrance which seems to be open all hours with a good range of drinks and snacks. The hotel was extremely clean and the cleaners deserve the highest praise for this. The reception staff were friendly and polite and welcoming when we arrived. The room tax was only about $25 for 4 nights which was very reasonable. We decided to walk to the hotel from the airport which is doable in 25 minutes or so which is such a benefit for us, although I believe there is a public bus from the bus stop behind the hotel to the airport. This bus stop also has a bus directly into Palma and from there I believe you can visit most places on the island from the main bus station. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to visit Mallorca.

Beautiful hotel and location! Loved that the beach was right by the hotel and many local gems nearby! Very friendly and accommodating staff and receptionists. Must try 8 winds burger bar next door and the hotel’s buffet was a great option when we didn’t feel like eating out and wanted to stay in the hotel. We had an amazing view from our room as well.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Everything was perfect, and Suna was incredibly kind and always smiling! I highly recommend this hotel. We chose the half-board option, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent. The room was very clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. I honestly cannot think of a single negative point! Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable! 😊

Recently returned from The El Cid & it was just as nice as our previous holiday last year. From the warm welcome at reception to our room on the 6th floor (side view looking towards the beach). All very clean, maid serviced the room daily and a great choice for breakfast. The hotel is in the best location in the middle of C’an Pastilla. Good sized balcony, plenty of wardrobe space and shelves and a good sized bathroom with an excellent shower. Just perfect, thank you.

The amenities are great and the breakfast buffet was pretty good for only €12. If you have a balcony "with obstructed sea view" and its anything like ours, you cant see the sea without sticking your head over the railing and looking hard left, so no sea view really. Its also very loud in the rooms, you can hear everyone around you in their rooms, if the cough, laugh, talk, walk, make any sound, you will hear it like they're right next to you.
