A Truly Unforgettable Anniversary Stay! We celebrated our first wedding anniversary at The First Collection Hotel Marina, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the entire team went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were upgraded to a beautiful room, better than what we had originally reserved, and throughout the day, staff kept wishing us "Happy Anniversary" — such a warm and thoughtful touch that made us feel truly celebrated. What impressed me most was how every single staff member, from the bellman to management, was polished, professional, and clearly in the right role. It's rare to see such consistency across an entire team. Special thanks to the wonderful Egyptian lady who assisted me by phone at 4 AM on September 23rd for fixing my same day stay and check if they can make me something special — I never got her name, but her professionalism and genuine helpfulness were outstanding. Also huge thanks to Ayoub in the restaurant, Kamal, the Indian manager Thanks for the complimentary fresh juice And thanks for all the wonderful dinner staff from the host to the stewards inside the kitchen 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Soliman at reception excellent service throughout our stay. One more thing worth mentioning: I accidentally left my wife's gold necklace in the room after checkout. I called the hotel, and they immediately arranged for it to be handled properly — Othman from hotel security, along with a very decent room service staff member, kindly opened the room and let me personally check and retrieve it myself. That level of trust, care, and integrity says everything about this hotel's values. This was truly a luxurious stay, and an experience I wish everyone could have. We had an amazing stay! A special thanks to Kuya Noel at the reception for being incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. We’d also like to thank Kumal at the Club Lounge for providing outstanding service and making us feel truly welcome. Although the first room we were assigned had an air conditioning issue, the staff handled it exceptionally well. To our surprise, they upgraded us to a suite, which made our experience even more memorable. Excellent service, warm hospitality, and a wonderful overall experience. We would definitely love to stay here again!

We enjoyed our staycation at First Collection Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was great. We also loved the free access to Soluna Beach Club. The only issue was that the information from the reception was incorrect. We were told that Soluna Beach Club closes at 10:00pm but it actually closes at 6:00 pm. Because of this, we had to go back the next day. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

I have stayed here twice across two separate weekends, so I genuinely see the strong potential this property holds. It serves as a semi-solid four star choice for anyone wanting to be in the Marina area. As a Marriott Platinum member, I originally discovered the hotel through the Marriott app. The service from several team members was truly standout. Farhod at reception assisted me across both check ins and was consistently polite and efficient & got me the upgrade. Linda at the front desk was equally helpful, and Ayoub during breakfast went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable. Apart from wishing they had standard standing showers, my primary area for improvement lies within the breakfast operation. While I understand this is a four star property rather than a full luxury brand like the W or flagship Marriott, the morning service regularly felt chaotic. Staff members were constantly rushing around without clear coordination, bumping into me on three separate occasions. The food quality could also use some refinement. Additionally, the lady manager/supervisor overseeing the floor (I assume she is since she was not wearing standard staff attire) could take note of these operational gaps to streamline the service flow. Plus emphasis the importance of greeting guests as they walk in as I saw her at breakfast & later at the lounge (Blacksmith Bar) & she unfortunately never greeted but most of the staff indeed did greet. The hotel has undeniable promise and great staff at the front desk, so I would certainly stay here again.

Update #2 Management took the matter serious and tried their best to solve it. Thanks. Update #1 for second stay as Titanium Elite A staff member called Kamal from the breakfast restaurant repeatedly engaged with us while we were eating although we asked the hotel to stop this behaviour. Not only did he asked multiple questions but also handed us a piece of paper with his name and insisted us to mention his name on Google reviews. He should honor the guest wish for privacy. Besides, there was an incident where another (worker) guest kept disturbing us at the breakfast. We left the breakfast restaurant as we felt quite uncomfortable. We reported it to the management. Stayed for 4 nights as Platinum Elite Pro: + Hamad was very polite and professional + Room had nice views and the bed was quite comfortable + Highlight was Black Smith restaurant. As the club lounge was closed they offered bites and drinks in the restaurant. All of the team working there were so lovely. Con: - No valet parking - Breakfast needs huge improvement. Food selection is quite limited and the staff working there should be trained to not approach eating guests asking for reviews with name mentions. - Pool area is clean but very small and may need some modernisation.
