honestly i was expecting way moré from the hôtel the facility is in a awful location there's barely anything around, the room's are kinda dated like they look good but if you look closely there are broken things, the private pool is dirty and does not get cleaned! altough the other pools look fine the hôtel may seem beautiful but nowhere near to what they promise you, the restaurants they put on the pictures do not exist and they sell it as publicity for the hôtel and omg the service is awful they dont speak a ounce of proper english and they just keep repeating the same words bc apperantly that's all they know and if you're planning on full board DO NOT TAKE FULL BOARD the main kitchen is disgusting we payed 53€ eventhough we just wanted to take a look and decided not to eat because the food looked disgusting and they didn't let us leave until we paid! Dont book this hôtel if if you're looking for a peaceful holiday.

Our first time in Crete. Had a fantastic time at the Island hotel. The staff were very friendly and provided an excellent service. Dimitri was an absolute gent and was always around to take an order of drinks. The facilities are excellent. The pools and outdoor sunbathing areas can't be faulted. George who booked us on 2 day trips to Santorini and Spinalonga was full of information and a nice guy. We will definitely come back here.

Very good child free hotel. No rush to sun loungers. Lots of cabanas. Some surrounded by water others by the pools. Booked a room with a small pool we share with 2 other rooms. Lots of rooms have this option. The main pools are all very good. Gym is good. Food is good. Staff are excellent. Good WiFi log in to both WiFi 's for great reception. It's a meandering type hotel and all low level. Not suitable for people who have mobility issues as there are lots of random steps. Ramps are everywhere but I think it could be an issue

It is a very nice hotel and a very quiet one. If you want to relaxed it is perfect but if you are looking for animation or just an ambiance, this is not your place. 3 pools, no music (or ambiant music) anywhere, neither at the restaurant at night or at the bar. The private beach is right in front and there is a few restaurants options around. You can reach Heraklion by bus for only 2,40 euros. Rooms are pretty small but with a balcony. Buffet is good with a lot of variety but the food is not warm and the breakfast options are répétitives. The cleaning service is very good and employees are really nice. The site is nice but we like a bite more of activities, ambiance and action in our hotel.

Really nice grounds in a well maintained hotel. Rooms are small but nice. The front desk staff are really helpful, but the restaurant doesn't have enough staff taking drink orders, etc., so it can take 10-15 mins to get water with dinner. Staff serving drinks throughout the hotel is very limited. Only one small bar is open by the main pool, and there's no there's no staff walking around the pools taking orders - this was pretty poor to be honest. Food was good but not exceptional- selection is fairly limited compared to many other hotels. They keep running out of things and there only seems to be one lady keeping food replenished. The gym is lacking decent kit. There's just about enough to get by with, but it needs updated equipment. The location to the beach is fantastic, and the beach/sea is beautiful with free sunbeds for hotel guests. Some of the rooms with apparent Sea Views are disappointing.
