REVIEW EDIT: Unfortunately have to edit my review. 35 minutes on the beach, pressed the service button mulitple times, tried neighbouring sunbeds' call buttons - no reaction. The water activitities kiosk person kindly went to the restaurant and made an order for me. Zen hotel for adults but not only... We stayed with a child and couldn't be happier with our choice of hotel. There is a small kids club, not big, as children are not frequent guests here but with engaging activity program. The best kids menu I have ever seen anywhere - a big choice of healthy options! Two swimming pools - "Adults only" and a family one. Also a special super zen area on the beach for guests wishing total tranquility (no phones, no talking, no service, just zen). A Michelin star restaurant - just try generally "boring" green salad or Ceaser salad and it will tell it all - they are above delicious! As the most items on the menu. Service, cleaningness - all 9 out of 10. Tried "group" workout which in fact was private as there are very few guests and I think this is the concept of the whole hotel. Privacy, tranquility, simple luxury.

Incredible service and attentiveness that is typical of the Oberoi brand. We stayed here for 2 weeks and were very sad to leave! Nothing was too much trouble. It's the most family friendly place I've stayed - from stocking the bathroom with baby products to setting up a repeating order of baby food 3 times a day and so much more. You can tell the staff genuinely care and we felt very well looked after when we suffered a sudden illness and needed medical attention. Yes, like all hotels there were one or two instances where things were not up to scratch but these were always immediately and satisfactorily rectified. There are so many names but Natacha was perhaps who we had the most contact with and impressed us so much. There's a great choice of included activities too - the stargazing was such a highlight and we saw so much marine life during the included snorkelling trip. Top it off with some great food and drink in the various restaurants and you have a pretty perfect stay.

Outstanding experience. Hospitality is at its best. They are very attentive to details. They go the extra mile to make your stay special. Shoutout to Mr Shaan at the restaurant who was attentionate. Mr. Mevin at the pool bar was amazing. I particularly love the complementary services we get at the pool and beach area such as complementary ice cream and fresh fruits. I was blown away by his hotel and my stay was memorable

We stayed in an Ocean Villa with very nice views of the ocean. It felt cosy, private, and comfortable — a great place to relax and unwind. The staff throughout the resort were incredibly helpful and kind. A special thank you to Voodish at reception for being so welcoming and attentive. The team also made everything very easy by helping organise activities around the island, arranging taxis, and assisting with any plans we had — it was all seamless and stress-free. The Boat House offers a good range of water activities, which we really enjoyed. We also joined the organised stargazing evening — it was such a great experience. The astronomer was very passionate and made the whole session engaging and memorable. Overall, a beautiful and very well-run resort for a relaxing stay in Mauritius.

My stay at The Oberoi in Mauritius was absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived, everything about the experience felt special. The room was beautiful and comfortable, with an incredible view and our own private pool, which made the stay feel so relaxing and luxurious. Waking up to that view every day was unforgettable. The food was excellent throughout the stay, and the service was just as impressive. The staff were attentive, kind, and made sure everything was perfect. What made the trip even more memorable was the birthday surprise they arranged for me. It was such a thoughtful and special gesture that I truly appreciated. Overall, The Oberoi Mauritius is a stunning property with exceptional service. I had an incredible stay and would absolutely love to come back. 🌴✨
