I booked an all-inclusive stay at this place for my birthday, expecting excellent service, but the experience started very poorly. Check-in was impersonal, our room phone didn't work, the sink was dirty, the mattress was worn out, and the minibar barely kept drinks cool, no towels more than just 2 shower towels. Traveling with my child on crutches made things even harder. On the first and second days, I had to return to reception using the resort transportation, which runs about every 10 minutes, but the nearest stop was still a long walk from our room. I also learned my package didn't include room service. Everything changed on the second day thanks to Nieves and Loa. Nieves listened, arranged a new mattress, ensured the room was properly cleaned, beautifully decorated it for my birthday, and made me feel valued. Loa, from management, addressed every concern, arranged room service because of my child's mobility limitations, offered a complimentary specialty dinner, and gave me her WhatsApp contact since our room phone remained broken for five days. Unfortunately, some buffet staff were rude. I was argued with for taking soup to my child and later questioned for sitting at a four-person table even though no smaller tables were clean and the restaurant was nearly empty. In contrast, Juan at the Kanalla bar was consistently friendly and attentive. The resort is beautiful, but service is very inconsistent. Without the exceptional efforts of Nieves, Loa, and Juan, my birthday vacation would have been a major disappointment.

Tropical deluxe Princess is an amazing hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had amazing food, and there were many activities to do on the resort. 10/10 experience. Would definite go again. So much fun. We danced in the pool with Franklin. He was a great entertainer

I don’t usually like making comments like this, but in this case I feel it’s necessary. This hotel is not a 5-star resort as advertised. I traveled from Miami with my family and stayed there about a week ago. I rented two rooms, and both were not well maintained and were not completely clean. The air conditioning was not cooling properly. They moved me to another room, but the AC there was not much better. On top of that, I had to call several times just to get the towels replaced, and even then it was difficult to get it done. Some of the staff serving food at the buffet were not very friendly. Not everyone, but a few of them were. Because of this experience, I would not recommend this hotel for a vacation. When you travel, you want to relax and enjoy your stay without dealing with these kinds of issues. I have stayed at other hotels before, and this is the first time I’ve had an experience like this in Punta Cana. Just look at how dirty the air filters were in the rooms.

The room and the food is really good! The “Animation” team (especially Franklin) are really nice and encouraging! I had fun playing games and participating in the activities around the pool area.

Our stay was truly one of the best family vacations we’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was amazing, the service was outstanding, and every staff member made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The absolute highlight of our trip was the Kids Club. As a parent, I know how difficult it can be to keep my daughter entertained for days. A pool alone usually isn’t enough because she gets bored pretty quickly, but the Kids Club was incredible! The team had so many fun, engaging activities that she was excited to go back every day. Seeing her so happy and entertained made our vacation so much more relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a memorable experience for our family. We can’t wait to come back!
