Food was very mediocre in regular Buffet, and terrible in Gourmet and Italian restaurant, but Asian and Mexican restaurants were good. Drinks are okay but their free white wine is not drinkable, tasted like a spoiled apple juice. Regarding rooms, the initial one we got that supposedly had a "sea view". It was on the ground floor and was looking at the garden. It also stinked from humidity and we changed it to another one which was better, but still had some dirt and rust marks. Staff was mostly rude for some reason and seemed like they are forced to do everything. Makes you want to apologize for ordering a drink at a bar or asking something at the front desk, even when you ask nicely. There were a couple of situations where Spanish speaking people were given priority in a line for ordering drinks. Beach - you have to spend 30 minutes every day searching/waiting for sunbeds since everyone is reserving them with towels, even when there's a clear rule against that. There are a couple of security guards at the beach but noone is enforcing that rule. The good thing about the resort was the nature, lots of palm trees and a lot of Muscovy ducks walking around. There are lots of birds, fish, turtles enjoying their natural habitat. The gym is also better than at most hotels.

I am a very picky eater BUT I was always able to find something to eat at the buffet, the food was quite good and variety was also nice. The staff were always keeping the grounds and the hotel clean, however the pillows were terrible and the rooms did not look how they did in the pictures even a little bit. Everyone was very friendly and happy to see you. The people on the beach trying to sell excursions and hair braiding are relentless and just dont take no for an answer, kinda annoying. But overall for the price I cant complain too much. My son is 9 and he had a great time.

The value for money at this resort is truly amazing! Before arriving, I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews, especially since this was our honeymoon — but it turned out we made the perfect choice. We’re not the kind of travelers who care too much about fancy accommodation, as we usually spend our days swimming and exploring, but Vista Sol really exceeded our expectations. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and the animation team keeps the energy up all day — they’re young, fun, and super friendly. Food is available all day long, always fresh and varied. The beach is peaceful, and the resort itself is beautifully maintained — clean, green, and full of charm. You’ll even see ducks and peacocks wandering around, which makes the whole atmosphere even more special. The pools and bars are open all day, and everything you need is easily accessible. Yes, the rooms are a bit older, but for this price, that’s not something I can really complain about. Overall, if you’re looking for a place with a great balance of price and quality, I absolutely recommend Vista Sol!

I had a wonderful experience, the resort has a beautiful beachfront, lovely gardens, and a relaxed Caribbean vibe that makes it easy to disconnect and enjoy every moment. The rooms are comfortable, the entertainment team keeps the atmosphere lively, and the food options are varied and satisfying. What truly made our stay memorable was the staff’s warmth and dedication, always smiling, helpful, and attentive. Their service goes beyond expectations and adds a special touch to the whole experience. A great value for anyone looking for a fun, tropical, and welcoming getaway in Punta Cana!

The hotel is in a good location, but the rooms are extremely dirty and poorly maintained. There is almost no hot water, and nothing comes out of the shower. The people responsible for cleaning the rooms are not doing their job well. It is forbidden to reserve sunbeds, but despite this, they are taken early in the morning, leaving no space for guests who actually want to go to the beach. The food is nothing special, and most of the vegetables were raw. I WOULD NOT RETURN TO THIS HOTEL AGAIN.
