The staff were very helpful. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night. The pools were great but as usual you had the numpties out at 6:30 throwing their towels on the beds. Despite this we never really had an issue getting two beds, just not always by the pool. Kids (and adults) enjoyed the afternoon game activities, especially the drinks voucher for the winner. Overall the hotel just feels a bit worn and tired. It could benefit from a freshen up.

Safety Concerns – VIK Hotel San Antonio, Puerto del Carmen ⭐☆☆☆☆ During our stay at VIK Hotel San Antonio, a member of our family was the victim of a violent robbery within the hotel premises during the early hours of the morning. This was an extremely distressing incident and raised serious concerns for us regarding guest safety and security. We observed that multiple access points appeared to remain open during the night and did not feel reassured that sufficient measures were in place to prevent unauthorised access to the hotel. We reported the incident and our concerns to the relevant authorities and believe the hotel should review its security arrangements as a matter of priority. While we cannot comment on the experiences of other guests or the incident due to ongoing investigations from multiple agencies , this incident significantly affected our sense of safety and enjoyment during the holiday. We felt that greater visibility of security measures and a clearer response to guest concerns would have provided additional reassurance. We were also concerned about safety around the pool area, as we did not observe a lifeguard on duty during our stay. Families travelling with children may wish to make their own enquiries regarding pool supervision arrangements before booking. In our experience, responsibility for safety around the pool appeared to rest largely with parents and accompanying adults. In addition, we found the food to be repetitive and often not as warm as expected they do put a microwave out for this purpose . Service levels were inconsistent, and some concerns raised during our stay did not appear to be addressed to our satisfaction. Overall, the incident involving our family member had a significant impact on our holiday and our confidence in the hotel’s safety arrangements. Although others may have different experiences, we left with serious concerns regarding security and guest welfare. Based on our experience, we would not return and would encourage prospective guests to make their own enquiries regarding the hotel’s security and safety arrangements before booking. Once the investigation from local police & other agents have completed the investigation into this hotel & crime I can update my review! If you value your family & life stay away at all costs & get a safe hotel 🏨 with hot food that changes daily and not repeated some staff are very rude & might know more about the robbery situations , the hotel itself is very run down & and lick of paint would do miracles

Disgusted in this hotel- stay clear!! We paid £5300 to stay here for a second time, all inclusive on a premium family sea view room for three people. Sadly, we have not experienced the same experience as we did 7 years ago. I have complained regarding the way the bar staff and restaurant staff have treated me as a woman of colour, twice to be ignored and excuses being made by the blonde manager on reception. Met with nothing but excuses and my complaints not being taken seriously. I have had dirty looks, snatches, spoken down to, ignored while they're very friendly with fellow Spainish guest.Sheer disrespect from some of the staff at this bar and restaurant. The manager advised regarding my first complaint that the guy at the bar " ( small rude old man at the bar and a young one that has no manners at all) has worked there 29 years, he is known for being miserable and never smiles. That's just the way he is".As if it's ok... We have had to book another hotel at extra cost. A tall old waiter who is the most arrogant, rude and disrespectful waiter in the restaurant in the morning who thought it be appropriate to attack me verbally over a tea spoon. Tea spoons they keep in their pockets and not left near a coffee machine. He barged past me as I tried to walk out to sit at the bar area with my morning coffee, while shouting to other staff in Spanish to make a point, went outside and got another tea spoon, went back inside the restaurant and slammed the spoon on the table while going mad infront of other staff and guest in a restaurant!! All after simply getting a morning coffee. My partner then came down for his morning coffee and sadly this waiter thought it be ok to not only go after him in an intimidating way causing me to stand up and get into the middle of it, so it didnt escalate. The waiter was shouting at us in front of other guest, wouldn't let it go- went and got tea spoons from another coffee station in there holders. came back and shoved them in our faces. We obviously said do not speak to us like that, for him to then call us crazy to other staff in front of guest. The other guests saw it all and was horrified, upon apologising to them due to the sheer embarrassment and situation he put us in they advised me to get his name and to make a complaint because his attitude was absolutely disgusting. We went and told the manager, her response was " he has issues at home". At no point did this manager take our points on seriously- all disregarded and brushed under the carpet. Upon leaving/checking out because at this point we refuse to stay at such a racist hotel with no sense of care, the manager ignored us and let someone else check us out. No apology nothing. All this happened at 8:40am. We have no issues with the other staff, but these three rude men who need to look into customer service skills. The food has gone down hill no were near as good as it was last time, repetitive as its the same stuff every two/three days and Hardly warm. Music is far to loud in the day. Their wifi is terrible. The only good thing is the sea view from this hotel. Upon telling our next hotel what happened, even they were confused as to why we have been treated in this way. Advised alot of people here experience this when of colour. There is obviously an issue with the Spanish and black guest. If you are a person of colour, please do not stay at this hotel. If you read on, you will see others have sadly had this issue. 2026 and they think this behaviour towards people of colour is acceptable. We will never stay here again after coming to lanzarote annually, for the past 7 years. We went and stayed at " club del Carmen" the relief we have felt coming here, comfortable and the staff are lovely.. the place is so much nicer than the Vik San Antonio, please look around as much cheaper than paid for the hell hole and experience we have had to endure at the Vik San Antonio. We want something being done about these staff.. it is not right that they receive complaint after complaint and do nothing about it.

This hotel is utter garbage! We are still currently here unfortunately but want to leave a review as tbh just had enough of the place already! Night staff first night we got here where nice and friendly, the day shift was two older ladies who where sour faced to say the least. Not accommodating at all and was boarding on rude when I explained that I hadn’t packed any trousers. The reason for me explaining that as this place and I stay all over the world but this place you have to wear trousers to dinner and when I explained I don’t have any they just shrugged their shoulders and the sour old bat just said you have to do this in most 4star hotels…..1 you don’t when it’s hot countries and 2 this isn’t a 4 star hotel. The lady things she is working at the ritz and it’s more like the pits!! The rule apparently changes June 1st every year, if it changes then it must change due to hot weather…. Well it’s hot so why not let people where shorts? I wear Taylored shorts with boat shoes and a shirt and that’s seen as not smart enough but two blokes walking past me in scruffed up joggers and trainers was fine and when I walked in to actually look at the food the staff members head fell off like I’d just walked in naked! Tbh the food looked so bad I wouldn’t have eaten there anyway and myself and my partner haven’t eaten a single thing bar a burger from the snack bar. Honestly the food looks bad and there wasn’t a lot of choice. The decor is outdated it’s like an old peoples home and old buttlins site that’s waiting to be shut down. WiFi doesn’t work in the rooms and then when you call reception they literally just go it’s on our website as blunt as that. The whole hotel is just old and the evening entertainment is literally old peoples home stuff it’s utter tripe. Don’t bother staying here honestly I came so close to just booking another hotel and moving! If we had been 2 weeks instead of one I’d of moved for sure. No WiFi, weird dress code rule, unhelpful staff, can’t take your pool bar drink to your sun bed if it’s glass gotta have it in some throw away cup, pool bar open restricted hours (not very long), pool only open 10-6. They call themselves a 4 star but that could mean anything with star ratings…..I mean they have a letter broken off on the front of the hotel and want to try and enforce weird snooty rules like you’re staying at some swanky joint. This place is rubbish

Hotel is a little dated but staff are extremely welcoming. Pools and pool bar are great. Entertainment lounge excellent with service to your seat. Don't forget to tip a few euros. It go's a long way. Just because it's all inclusive doesn't mean the staff get extra wages. Pedro in the restaurant is a 1st class host. Some people have complained on google that there are a lot of older people staying here. Just remember, they dont race down at 7am to steal the best sunbeds and most are very nice. We had a lovely stay.
