Amazing hotel and staff, From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated. The atmosphere of the hotel is vibrant yet relaxing, making it the perfect escape from daily routine. The cleanliness, comfort, and overall presentation exceeded my expectations in every way. What truly stood out during my stay was the outstanding level of care and attentiveness. I would especially like to thank Amalia for her remarkable service. Her kindness, professionalism, and positive attitude made my experience even more special. She truly understands the meaning of exceptional hospitality. It’s rare to find a place where you feel both valued and comfortable at the same time. I’m incredibly surprised that this hotel is only classed as a 4-star as it’s better than many of the 5-star hotels I’ve stayed at. I wish I had all the names of every staff member we encountered because every single person was so warm and welcoming. I’ve stayed in many places but the staff at Voco the Palm are truly exceptional. From concierge, reception, housekeeping, restaurant staff and the lifeguards. This was a remarkable stay for many reasons but the staff are the top reason. Absolutely flawless service from all. The hotel is beachfront, so even though our room had a city view we would wake up each morning and see the reflection of the water glittering on the building across us which was such a treat. Unlike other reviews, we did not experience any noise pollution in our room from the outside. It was perfectly quiet and we slept comfortably. There is a mall nearby but we felt no desire to leave and spent every single day lounging by the sea. The private beach access was wonderful. I especially loved that it was such a family friendly beach area as there was no loud music blasting like other parts of the beach, perfect for little ones or adults with delicate ears. The swinging benches were the highlight of the beach experience, as well as the incredible lifeguards and waitstaff - special mention for Bidan who went above and beyond with his care of every guest. He noticed I was struggling to take selfies with my baby and immediately offered to take pictures for me - he has captured memories I will treasure forever. He also offered her beach toys to play with and worked hard to keep the sun out of our eyes when he noticed my daughter squinting. Bidan is the gold standard of care and attention, truly exemplary in his attitude, kindness and hard work. Every part of the hotel was very well kept, clean and smelled amazing, housekeeping does such a fantastic job, I cannot praise them enough. Breakfast at Maison Mathis was wonderful, especially sitting outside with the view. Gladys and her colleagues at the check out desk were very sweet and charming, we felt sad to leave. They were incredibly understanding and accommodating when we called for a late check out and even though the hotel was fully booked they gave us an extra hour to get our things together and kindly stored our luggage until we could leave. We miss this place and the staff a lot and would love to stay here again. My only slight issue was the bottled water. I understand the hotel aims to reduce plastic waste therefore only offers glass bottled water in rooms, but I found the bottles and water off-putting to drink as the glass and the water itself always smelled and tasted quite sweet. I’ve had glass bottled water in other hotels trying to limit plastic but their water and bottles never had this taste or smell to it. As a result we ended up buying a lot of water to drink instead.
