My wife and I had an incredible stay at Breathless Punta Cana. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed with their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality. Everyone went above and beyond, but I want to give a special mention to Benito, one of the servers who consistently provided outstanding service. He was friendly, attentive, and made every interaction feel personal—we truly appreciated him. The pools and daily entertainment were fantastic and kept the energy high throughout our stay. The beach was beautiful, clean, and perfect for relaxing. We also really enjoyed the food options, which offered great variety and quality, making every meal enjoyable. Overall, Breathless Punta Cana exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a fun, relaxing, and memorable vacation with amazing service, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

This was the most wonderful and relaxing vacation! The service, attention to detail, food, access to any everything you could need to enjoy your stay and the impeccable cleanliness of this resort was an 11/10. The ambiance, music, modern/carribbean style architecture and overall design were superb. We couldn't have been more impressed with our stay at Breathless. From our arrival to when we left, the staff was outstanding. Paola, the concierge who took care of us upon arrival, was so kind, professional and helpful in providing us with all the help and information we needed for our stay. She even helped upgrade our room and book our spa appointments for us. Our room attendant, Claribel, went above our expectations....leaving us small surprises, kind notes, additional everything that we asked for and most importantly----kept our room perfect! Kudos to this amazing staff member. Jose, who was our server at the exhale grill yesterday afternoon, helped us not only book our dinner at the French restaurant but he also found us at our table and had the chef prepare us a special off-menu shrimp dish. He and so many other staff members took amazing care of us. If you are debating where to stay, don't look further!!

We paid for the exhale club upgrade and stayed five days. We were there on a girls trip in early November. And had Manuel as our Butler, who was great, and so was the rest of the staff! The resort is beautiful and the amenities are great especially the food. I loved the restaurants and I’m pretty picky with all inclusives. This made it to top 5 in my list

I had the best time for my daughter’s wedding. The staff was amazing and everyone remembered you and was so welcoming our host yimi was awesome and checked everyday if we needed anything. Are favorite Bartender, Victor s was fantastic remembered are drinks treated us like family he will forever be a friend and hope one day to go back and see him he went above and beyond for my husband and I and my family if you ever go stay there, give him a shout out.

My husband and I just finished up our honeymoon at Breathless and we had a fantastic time! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We got the Xhale Club services and our “butler”, Jesus was so helpful and attentive. He helped us with all of our reservations and let us know about all of the daily activities at the resort. We enjoyed all of the restaurants and our waiter, Wilson was incredible. He greeted us almost every morning even when he wasn’t waiting on us. Truly spectacular staff!!

This is a really amazing resort. The staff are always smiling and very welcoming, the rooms are clean and feel quite luxurious, and the food is good. The beach and pools are absolutely incredible. I highly recommend this hotel! We will come back very soon! Thank you for your care.

I’m giving this a 3 star as I felt there was a miss for the resort as a whole to be a 5 star resort. The rooms in general are clean and nice, the resort is small and very limited in the amount of activities to do. After 4 days, had pretty much seen it all. The bar staff seemed to be annoyed when asked for drinks and weren’t the best, while I had some of the waiting staff that were really great. Shout out to Pedro who was one of the best waiting staff that we had during our stay. We were invited from a member at the member rate but this required us to go through a sales meeting. We agreed to this commitment and they originally told us this would last 90 minutes, but when we started they changed this to 120-180 minutes. When we complained they threatened to charge us a penalty. We found this to be a huge sour point in our vacation. The location is not close by. We flew into Punta Cana as flights weren’t available to La Romana which required an hour+ drive to get to the location. Also, the maximum we were able to walk on the beach was about 1km so if you want to walk around, note this is very limited. The resort is very quiet, other than the shows they put at night there isn’t much going on after 11pm. Not sure why but we heard many people including some of us, got stomach issues from either food poisoning. We noticed that some water bottles that were given to us by staff were not sealed properly and the burgers at the beach grill seemed to be undercooked.

It was an absolute amazing stay! Nothing short amazing !! However the hotel needs to be more careful on who they allow into there compound ! Specific the Fire and Water show had merchants there two weeks ago and finds out you speak English they make up a bs price for a bottle of mamajuana and two necklace for 300 dollar us then after I told them off about there little scam they sat down and sold it for 40 dollars an absolute disappointment to have people like that scamming honest ppl who come there for vacation don’t get me started on there cashapp bar code that comes up as a scam everytime ! Great place great ppl who works there but the scammers they let in there is absolutely ridiculous

We stayed at the Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa with my girlfriends family and were blown away by how amazing the experience was. Miguel and his team ensured our stay was comfortable and had the chef accommodate all of my girlfriends dietary requirements to a tee (vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, corn-free). All the managers (William, Julio and Jairo), waitstaff and chefs at the Coastal Grill took such great care to detail when serving for us, and the hostess was always very kind and welcoming. Rooms were clean and cozy, and the restaurants were all delicious.

From the moment we arrived at Dreams Dominicus La Romana, we felt welcomed and cared for. We were warmly greeted at the Preferred Guest reception, where the staff explained about the resort, gave clear directions, and shared the QR code for activities. Our concierge, Kissairy, then whisked us away to our room. We were blown away—our family suite was beautiful, spacious, and had a great view. As we explored the resort and headed to the beach, we met Luis from Amstar, who helped us understand excursion options and book an incredible family day trip to La Hacienda. The excursion ended up being one of the highlights of our trip—fun, exciting, and memorable for everyone. The resort’s food and drinks were some of the best we’ve ever had at an all-inclusive. We enjoyed: • Flying Fish for breakfast • Himitsu for a lively hibachi experience • Seaside Grill, where we had amazing steaks (special thanks to Yason, our favorite waiter) • World Café, which truly had something for everyone • The Preferred Club buffet on the beach • Excellent pizza at La Trattoria The overall vibe of the resort was relaxed, family-friendly, and sprinkled with touches of luxury. We also want to recognize Samil, our bellhop, who was fantastic. He picked up our bags exactly on time and made the wait for Amstar enjoyable with friendly conversation and great service—such a helpful and kind way to end our stay. Another standout staff member was Ray, our favorite bartender at the Preferred Club beach. He treated us like family, going out of his way to find Corona for us and keeping our kids stocked with frozen lemonades all day long. At Scuba Caribe, we were equally impressed—the staff there were welcoming and attentive every single day. We rented paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkel gear multiple times and always had a wonderful experience. We visited the spa as well, and the whole family enjoyed relaxing massages. Evenings were also fun—we enjoyed the pool table in the nightclub and appreciated the kids’ club for our 9- and 12-year-olds. The beach was clean, the water was beautiful, and the entire resort was well maintained. Overall, this was a fantastic family vacation. Dreams Dominicus La Romana exceeded our expectations in every category—service, food, activities, and atmosphere. We would absolutely return!

We just spent a week at the incredible Dreams Onyx Resort with our family of 9, and I can't say enough good things about this place. We booked a preferred swim-up room at the family pool, which was absolutely perfect for our group with children. The service we received was truly exceptional. Castillo, the bartender at the preferred family pool, went above and beyond every single day. He quickly learned all of our drink orders and always had our favorites ready. What impressed us most was how attentive he was to our kids, making sure they had their favorite drinks too. He made everyone feel special and was incredibly friendly. Castillo is by far the best bartender we've ever encountered at a resort! Our butler/concierge Albert was equally amazing. He was attentive, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. When we mentioned it was my mother-in-law's birthday, Albert took care of everything—he arranged beautiful decorations for her room, ordered a gorgeous cake, and had fresh flowers delivered. His attention to detail and quick service made the celebration truly memorable. The entire staff at Dreams Onyx Resort made our family vacation unforgettable. We can't wait to return!

Absolutely blown away with our experience at Dreams Onyx Resort. Although I have nothing to compare it to, I work in the Travel and tourism industry and can say this place was top notch. Everyone was super friendly. We booked a swim up room in the regular section but opted to have Preferred Club privileges on arrival. The room (5107) was perfect size for my mother and I and had a great layout. The room featured two double beds, a double sink, glassed-in shower and ample storage. Our patio area was quiet and quaint loaded with a jet tub, loungers and chairs. The swim out pool was shared between 5 other rooms but there was never a time when other people were occupying it so I generally always had it solo. - the property was phenomenal. So many things to do… endless amounts of ala carte restaurants and buffet options. The food and drink were out of this world. The entertainment was great too. - we did have one issue with the room - a leak in the bathroom .. which ended up with a fall. The hotel staff handled the situation amazingly and offered free doctor care, and other additional amenities. I really enjoyed the gym as it was all updated and very spacious with an open layout. Also, despite being a family friendly resort it wasn’t overly kid-centric which was perfect for us. The option to go over to breathless and use their restaurants and pools was fantastic. I personally enjoyed the scene over there a bit more but I was always thankful to return to dreams because I found it to be MUCH nicer. I am definitely looking forward to returning. We only stayed for 5 nights, 6 days.. did not do any excursions… HIGHLY recommend going for 7-10 days.. excursions weren’t necessary with our short stay but maybe I would’ve tried one if I were there longer.

What a wonderfull experience, we had our wedding at this resort and couldnt have been happier with the experience. 45 of our friends and loved ones shared this experience with us. Our guest ranged from early 20s to late 60s and there was something for everyone. I would definitely recommend the preferred upgrade. For an all inclusive resort food was the best I have had. Juan our Butler was AMAZING!!!! He took care of all our needs and made sure all the details were taken care of. The prefered staff at the buffet were on point and amazing. Rafael Garcia, Andras, johansel and others made the prefered buffet experience top notch. The evening dining experience was also a great experience and they accommodated for our large groups . I would definitly recomend this resort to everyone.

My sister and I decided on a girls trip! We are mostly there to relax and eat! We were not dissappointed. We decided on the preferred package and honestly would not have wanted to do it any other way! The nicer room, top shelf drink options and the beautiful adult pool was worth the additional fee. We had access to the breathless resort which had a bit nicer restaurants! The room was fantastic, always clean and stocked with everything we needed. The food was great! Restaurants were so good and the preferred a la carte options for breakfast and lunch were also ex optional! Our favorite was the taco truck! Superb! The staff was SUPER friendly and always offering drinks and towels! Nelis was our absolute FAVORITE! she helped make the trip great! We met so many return visitors which also says alot about the resort! The beaches were great, alot of Sargasm seaweed, but the resort was trying to clean it up. Rhe shows were good. Not long enoigh but we were always dancing in our chairs!We would go back in a heart beat!

I was there during Thansgiving week. I loved the experience overall. The staff was very pleasant, happy and going above and beyond to help with anything. The food was delicious. The vendors on the beach were annoying a little but they were not pushy. If you tell them you are not interested, they were leaving. The Entertainment team was adding to the fun we had in the Breathless section. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and definitely looking forward to going back there next year.

Just came back from a week at Dreams Royal Punta Cana. The resort is beautiful, the grounds are so clean and every washroom is spotless. The rooms are clean and the food is delicious, the buffet has lots to choose from. The people are so friendly and polite. The nightly entertainment is great every show was awsome. My favourite was Retro night. Baby Face does a great job. I will be telling my friends about this resort and I will definitely be back. Thanks Dreams for a great weeks vacation. The beach is amazing you can walk forever.

We came here in October for a wedding, the staff are absolutely amazing! Dolores, Lucia, and Jose C (concierge) were absolutely fantastic. The property is beautiful. Food is good, not great but definitely can find something to eat at all the restaurants. I do wish the kids menu was a bit larger. We went to the buffet every day for my toddler to have a variety of choices. The building we were in had beautiful rooms, there was some damage to the roof of the walkway (we were on floor 3 of building 4) that was being worked on our first day, but none of the rest of the time we were there. The staff is incredible! We truly loved them!! My three year old and 4 month old were doted on by all of them. Overall our stay was wonderful. My favorite drinks were the tiki tiki and the Lucia special. My friends wedding was absolutely beautiful here.

Every morning, we were greeted with exceptional service at Portofino by Daily, Margarita, and Jacqueline. Our room was always spotless, fresh, and beautifully maintained. Elizabeth, thank you for keeping everything so clean and making it feel like home — you were incredible! We also received excellent attention at the bar from Marilyn. From the minute we walked in, she greeted us with so much joy and enthusiasm. Her positive energy set the tone for our entire trip — we knew right away it was going to be amazing! And we cannot say thank you enough to Marcelo, the best butler and concierge we could have asked for. He went above and beyond to make our stay effortless and unforgettable. His attention to detail and kindness truly made our trip special. We’re so grateful to the entire team for making our vacation a dream come true. We can’t wait to come back!

Dreams review My family and I enjoyed a lovely and relaxing stay at Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana. During our stay, we were a part of the Preferred Club. The resort is surrounded by luscious greenery around and throughout which is thoroughly maintained by the garden staff. Our rooms were clean and spacious upon arrival and continued to be during our stay with daily house keeping and nightly turn down service. Our room was located in the Preferred Club section which was tranquil, surrounded by pools and greenery. Preferred offered an easy check in process with cold towels and drinks upon arrival, bell hop service to the room, and personal concierge to give us a tour around. There was easy connection from the preferred section to the main resort by either golf carts, or walking the bridge through the mangrove which had beautiful scenery and wildlife. Overall, the food experience at Dreams was good, but did not surpass expectations. I have to clarify that my family and I are more of a foodie family. We did enjoy the fresh fruit and breakfast options each morning. We met Alfredo, a waiter at Market Cafe, who treated our family with great kindness, attentiveness, and made us feel at home. Alfredo helped to create a special birthday breakfast for one of our members that we won’t forget. Lunch variation was a little limited. Dinners were a little bit of a hit or miss. However, on our last evening, Billy, our concierge, went above and beyond for us and worked with the chef at Fusion so that we could enjoy a spread of traditional Dominican plates. The dishes were incredible and we were so grateful to have had experienced this while in the Dominican Republic. We thoroughly enjoyed our service at the Blue Dorado swim bar during the day where we were greeted each morning by Nahum and David. Nahum and David exceeded expectations as bartenders and servers and treated my family with great kindness and exceptional service! We also met Estarlin at Blue Dorado who oversaw some of the bartenders, including Brandol, and waiters and even though he wasn’t serving us, he still treated us with great kindness. We loved getting to know each of them. The interlude bar in the evening provided nice service before dinner or during a show. We also enjoyed various coffee drinks and treats at Coco Cafe. In the afternoon, we were always greeted and welcomed by Anyelina who took time and care to remember our drink order, and even had a chai latte prepared as we walked up one afternoon. Additionally, Freimy, a part of pool and beach concierge, took time to get to know my family and I, even providing us with popsicle treats even though we weren’t on the beach at the time. The entertainment shows each night could have had a bit more variety. For the 5 nights of our stay, it had happened that 3-4 nights were rock themed. After each nightly show there was live music with dancing in the plaza area lead by the entertainment team, namely Jonathan and Tarzan were great members getting people up to dance and leading them in bachata, merengue, and salsa. We personally didn’t partake in too many activities throughout the day, but there were plenty of options and activities to be involved in. Overall, our stay was great and undoubtedly enhanced by the staff members we met along the way. Billy, our personal concierge, treated my family like we were part of his own and exceeded our expectations. Without him, our stay wouldn’t have been as amazing as it was.

Just returned from a wonderful 6 night stay! The beautiful grounds only paled to the beautiful smiles of the attentive staff. The chefs outside themselves! From lobster tails to osso buco we had a wide variety of delicious meals and deserts every meal. The pools were not overcrowded and the lazy river was delightful. The room was immaculate and housekeeping met our requests quickly. Entertainment was diversified. Kid friendly but also plenty of fun for grownups- the bars we're well stocked. We will look no further next visit! This is the place.

My partner and I had an amazing experience at Secrets Royal Beach. We have been to a few different similarly starred resorts in recent years and this has been the best overall experience. They have a range of activities to participate in, we enjoyed tennis lessons and playing tennis with Francis and Marcos and Volleyball with Aladdin, who also hosted beachside bingo which was so fun. We participated in the sushi making experience with Junior and wine tasting with the resorts two sommeliers. The entertainment team is so enthusiastic and work so hard to ensure people are enjoying themselves and feeling included. J.Fozz, Junior, Aladdin, and Chocolate were the members of the entertainment team that we engaged with the most, and they were all wonderful and brought so much fun to our stay. The food was amazing, both at the buffet and the restaurants. We had amazing service at the Bali Beds from Yo-Yo and at the Barracuda bar from Angel, Alex and Ruben at the Beach Bar. We were given exceptional service at the french restaurant by Fernando, Mexican restaurant from Willy, and Miguel at Olios. The staff at the buffet paid such good attention that when we walked in for breakfast they knew exactly where we liked to sit and how we like our coffee (and mimosas!). Special mention to Reyni, Jamerson, Yerly, and Fernando at the buffet. Drinks were great, Maria at the showtime bar remembered our cocktail order every evening and always shared information about the next shows and times to be at the main plaza. Aris who made our cocktails was great at modifying them to our liking each night. We did not upgrade to preferred, but Jeffrey who showed us to our room text me every morning with the days events and let us know we could message him if we had questions or needed anything. The staff truly go above and beyond here and are so warm and welcoming they have definitely made us want to return.

We arrived to a warm welcome by friendly and attentive staff. Check in was easy but we did have an immediate attempt of an upsell for ‘preferred’ which wasn’t very welcoming, we didn’t go for it, it is very expensive and after our experience without it, not worth it! The room was ok, not quite like the photos and not all that clean with a few broken things. Apart from this the experience was amazing! The staff were always helpful, cleaning the room, topping things up before we had even realised they were gone and keeping us entertained. The location and beach were great! Although would prefer to not have people trying to sell us things on the beach they quickly get to know you and leave you be to relax. We never got bored or hungry as the food was great with a big variety! Cocktails were hot and miss but if you don’t like, it’s freeee, get a different one! Will be returning! Also… DONT MISS THE DREAMS HOTEL. You have access to its pools and water slides, as well as the great ecological park out the front, which isn’t explained to well when you check in

Had an amazing experience staying at Secrets Royal Beach. We opted in for the preferred club and were pleasantly suprised by the amenities and services. We will definitely be back. You can see the value when you stay here. Big Thanks to Ishmael for treating us like family and taking care of us as our Personal Butler. He made the experience much better Also every morning wasnt complete without a cup of Caramel Frappe made by the wonderful Denisse and Miguele at Coco Cafe. They make phenomenal coffee and bring smile to our faces..

My husband and I just celebrated our honeymoon at this location! WOW, what an amazing experience! We decided on the preferred club, and it was absolutely worth it. Our room had a private pool, which was amazing to have our floating breakfast in. Our room was consistently stocked with cold drinks and snacks, and cleaned everyday. All of the restaurants and room service was delicious and met our cravings. You can’t beat the views, the pools, and the beach. We enjoyed all of the entertainment, from the beach Olympics, to the awesome pool DJ, to the nightly shows. The staff treated us like family and royalty. A shout out to a few of the staff who truly made our experience special. Alex bartended at the pool bar and is the BEST- always get his fresh made mai tai’s! Adrian from the French restaurant was so knowledgeable and fun; we loved that we also got to see him one day at the buffet. Brian, our butler, was always fast to respond and meet our needs; even when I wasn’t feeling well and needed Gatorade asap. Flower was my favorite dance partner at the night entertainment. All the staff were incredible, but these 4 are the best. If you are looking for a relaxing but fun vacation, you must try Secrets!

The facilities are excellent, the food is superb, and the overall service is wonderful. ​We especially want to highlight the exceptional service provided by three bartenders at the Marlin Beach Bar: Ruben, Juan, and Jose U. ​They were not only incredibly efficient and friendly but also true artists. They consistently made beautifully presented and delicious drinks for the ladies in our group.
