My partner and I had an amazing experience at Secrets Royal Beach. We have been to a few different similarly starred resorts in recent years and this has been the best overall experience. They have a range of activities to participate in, we enjoyed tennis lessons and playing tennis with Francis and Marcos and Volleyball with Aladdin, who also hosted beachside bingo which was so fun. We participated in the sushi making experience with Junior and wine tasting with the resorts two sommeliers. The entertainment team is so enthusiastic and work so hard to ensure people are enjoying themselves and feeling included. J.Fozz, Junior, Aladdin, and Chocolate were the members of the entertainment team that we engaged with the most, and they were all wonderful and brought so much fun to our stay. The food was amazing, both at the buffet and the restaurants. We had amazing service at the Bali Beds from Yo-Yo and at the Barracuda bar from Angel, Alex and Ruben at the Beach Bar. We were given exceptional service at the french restaurant by Fernando, Mexican restaurant from Willy, and Miguel at Olios. The staff at the buffet paid such good attention that when we walked in for breakfast they knew exactly where we liked to sit and how we like our coffee (and mimosas!). Special mention to Reyni, Jamerson, Yerly, and Fernando at the buffet. Drinks were great, Maria at the showtime bar remembered our cocktail order every evening and always shared information about the next shows and times to be at the main plaza. Aris who made our cocktails was great at modifying them to our liking each night. We did not upgrade to preferred, but Jeffrey who showed us to our room text me every morning with the days events and let us know we could message him if we had questions or needed anything. The staff truly go above and beyond here and are so warm and welcoming they have definitely made us want to return.

We arrived to a warm welcome by friendly and attentive staff. Check in was easy but we did have an immediate attempt of an upsell for ‘preferred’ which wasn’t very welcoming, we didn’t go for it, it is very expensive and after our experience without it, not worth it! The room was ok, not quite like the photos and not all that clean with a few broken things. Apart from this the experience was amazing! The staff were always helpful, cleaning the room, topping things up before we had even realised they were gone and keeping us entertained. The location and beach were great! Although would prefer to not have people trying to sell us things on the beach they quickly get to know you and leave you be to relax. We never got bored or hungry as the food was great with a big variety! Cocktails were hot and miss but if you don’t like, it’s freeee, get a different one! Will be returning! Also… DONT MISS THE DREAMS HOTEL. You have access to its pools and water slides, as well as the great ecological park out the front, which isn’t explained to well when you check in

Had an amazing experience staying at Secrets Royal Beach. We opted in for the preferred club and were pleasantly suprised by the amenities and services. We will definitely be back. You can see the value when you stay here. Big Thanks to Ishmael for treating us like family and taking care of us as our Personal Butler. He made the experience much better Also every morning wasnt complete without a cup of Caramel Frappe made by the wonderful Denisse and Miguele at Coco Cafe. They make phenomenal coffee and bring smile to our faces..

My husband and I just celebrated our honeymoon at this location! WOW, what an amazing experience! We decided on the preferred club, and it was absolutely worth it. Our room had a private pool, which was amazing to have our floating breakfast in. Our room was consistently stocked with cold drinks and snacks, and cleaned everyday. All of the restaurants and room service was delicious and met our cravings. You can’t beat the views, the pools, and the beach. We enjoyed all of the entertainment, from the beach Olympics, to the awesome pool DJ, to the nightly shows. The staff treated us like family and royalty. A shout out to a few of the staff who truly made our experience special. Alex bartended at the pool bar and is the BEST- always get his fresh made mai tai’s! Adrian from the French restaurant was so knowledgeable and fun; we loved that we also got to see him one day at the buffet. Brian, our butler, was always fast to respond and meet our needs; even when I wasn’t feeling well and needed Gatorade asap. Flower was my favorite dance partner at the night entertainment. All the staff were incredible, but these 4 are the best. If you are looking for a relaxing but fun vacation, you must try Secrets!

The resort is absolutely amazing! The facilities are excellent, the food is superb, and the overall service is wonderful. ​We especially want to highlight the exceptional service provided by three bartenders at the Marlin Beach Bar: Ruben, Juan, and Jose U. ​They were not only incredibly efficient and friendly but also true artists. They consistently made beautifully presented and delicious drinks for the ladies in our group. Their attention to detail and creative approach made our visits to the beach bar truly special. ​Thank you, Ruben, Juan, and Jose U., for making our stay so enjoyable!
