Great accommodations, beverage and restaurant service but the butler service was lacking. We didn't ask for much but we didn't get the few things we asked for. It was unacceptable to have to make the long walk to the lobby at 10p to get bottled water because it was never delivered after asking 4 times! Also, the resort tried to charge me, again, for the spa package I purchased thru the resort online before we arrived. Thankfully I had my receipts. Now, it was a great treatment, but not for double the price. For what we paid for preferred, I should not have had any inconvenience or hassle. If we go back we won't do preferred and we're thinking we may try a different resort next time. Yes, I would recommend the resort but unless you just want the upgraded room, I wouldn't suggest getting the preferred package. Now, not all was bad... the room and view were fantastic, we loved the beach access, the food was plentiful, enough entertainment, and generally great hospitality. If you go to Show Time or see a show, ask for Maria. She was absolutely delightful and provided great service. Plus there were some appreciated extras the staff provided for our anniversary celebration and to generally make our stay comfortable. There is quite a bit of seaweed on the beach in this area, and the staff did a reasonable job cleaning the beach, which was appreciated so we could feel better to enjoy the water (they have lots of wonderful pools but I'm a beach person). So overall, again, I'd recommend this resort.

I usually do not write reviews. However, my experience at Secrets Punta Cana was so exquisite, I wanted to tell others. I was worried because this was our first time in Dominican Republic and many people have told me that they didn’t enjoy their resort. In my opinion, the food was excellent with a wide variety of options. The atmosphere on the resort is great with a variety of shows and events throughout the day. But by far, the best part is the service. Everyone is so welcoming from check-in until the time you depart. My wife and I wanted a relaxing trip, so we didn’t leave the resort for excursions. We simply relaxed at the pool, enjoyed all the meals they offered, and then went to the shows. We made it a point to sit in the same section every night at the Showtime Bar to see the waitress Maria. She took care of our every need and was willing to make little tweaks to my picky drink order. My wife and I are learning Spanish and she was very patient with us as we practiced, taught us new words/phrases, and taught us about the culture which is very important to us. I cannot express enough how much she enhanced our trip experience.

Really nice property and location, only 25 mins from the airport and borders Dreams next door. Our butler, Alberto was brilliant and could not do enough for us. Marlon looked for us every morning at breakfast along with the singing hostess. Our bartender Sebastian and Fanny at the preferred club pool were fantastic. The team that work here make a huge impact on the trip. The food was good, restaurants nice and we also enjoyed the spa. Overall great vacation.

This was my first time at a Secerts all inclusive. Overall the experience was great. Ramses are butler was amazing! Texting us everyday and checking in to make sure we were good or if we needed anything at all. He truly made this stay perfect for us with the extra little touches. The house cleaning crew was great. Always had fresh towels and a very clean room daily. Food was overall good. Only down side was at lunch time. The grill area had the same food daily we are use to all inclusive doing more at lunch at the pool area, food trucks, pizza or just mixing up the burger bar area with other items this was never the case unfortunately. The fitness center was terrible. Extremely small. Only 2 out of 5 treadmills worked. I’ve stayed at a holiday inn with a better workout room. Beaches very clean and nice!

This was our first time out of the country and to an all inclusive resort. We felt very welcomed and safe during our whole trip! I would recommend booking the travel to and from the airport through the resort, makes for a smoother transportation. The only thing that could be better is the food availability. The buffet isn't open all day and if you don't get the preferred package there is limited options for food throughout the day. There is a beach side grill open until 6pm everyday but it only serves hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, and a few just quick options. Only a couple of restaurants are open for lunch for preferred members only. Room service is 24 hrs and the couple times we got it was okay just not an awe factor when it came to the overall taste of the food itself. That would be the only "complaint" if you even want to call it that. For coffee lovers CoCo Cafe was great and is open from 7am-11pm, they also serve sandwiches and other small items and desserts. The hibachi restaurant is also great it just requires a reservation through the concierge-this one was worth it! With it being our first time we did not do any excursions but they have plenty of options and would be interested in looking into those next time. The Spa is definitely worth it-had to be my favorite day! The night time entertainment shows are also great, they start at 9pm every night. Overall we would come back one day but with it being our first time we would like to compare it to other all inclusive resorts.
