Bahia Principe Grand La Romana

We went with our children (7,3&2) and we loved it. It’s a smaller resort, which is nice with the kids. Amazing variety of food, and the drinks were good. Damien was the absolute best bartender, always paid extra attention to us!! Hanel at the front desk was also amazing, going over the top to make sure my birthday was special. The ladies in the kids club were also amazing, our kids loved going there for the activities. The beach wasn’t the best, there were jellyfish in the ocean which wasn’t ideal with our children. The ocean also wasn’t that turquoise/blue we were hoping for. Overall, great trip and great resort.

This resort exceeded our expectations in every way. The property is beautifully maintained, surrounded by lush greenery, and offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that makes it the perfect getaway for families, couples, and friends. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The service was exceptional from the entrance to the front desk. Although we arrived earlier than the standard check-in time due to an early flight, the team graciously accommodated us with an early check-in, which we greatly appreciated. After check-in, we were conveniently transported to our room by golf cart, adding to the overall comfort and hospitality. Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to assist with any questions or requests. Their positive attitude truly made a difference in our experience. The resort offers a wide variety of activities for both children and adults throughout the day, ensuring that everyone has something enjoyable to do. The buffet features an impressive selection of delicious food, and the three reservation-based specialty restaurants provide excellent dining options for guests seeking additional variety. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay. The combination of outstanding service, beautiful surroundings, excellent dining, and family-friendly activities made this a memorable vacation. We look forward to returning in the future and would highly recommend this resort to family, friends, and anyone looking for a wonderful and relaxing destination.

We had a wonderful experience at Bahia Principe Grand La Romana. The hotel facilities were beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the overall service was excellent. We would especially like to thank Delbin for his outstanding customer service and professionalism. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to assist our family and even helped us secure a reservation at one of the restaurants at a very convenient time for us, which we truly appreciated. Delbin’s kindness, attention to detail, and dedication to guest satisfaction made a big difference in our experience. Thank you for making our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel has the wow factor when you arrive. Our room was lovely, very clean but could use brighter lights in the bathroom for make up application . Maid service second to none. The food is varied and tasty. The thing that makes this hotel special is the people. The staff are delightful, engaging and friendly. Ernesto on check in was amazing . The entertainment team work so hard and are ALWAYS fun! A bigger variety on the music played would make each day different. I would definitely come back here. Sooner rather than later! 'Michael Jackson' from the entertainment team was such fun. Loved my aquagym with him in the pool! Overall this hotel is amazing. Clean, luxurious and mist importantly very welcoming. Thank you for a fabulous holiday. Much needed from a cooler UK.
