Third time in the Dominican Republic, first time with a kid. All I can say it’s 1000 thumbs up for a great staff and resort. For the moment you step in you are greeted with friendly and polite hospitality. Amazing resort to have full activities with kids and then wind down in some grown up time. Internet through out the resort, food and drinks that can satisfy even the most picky people, at every corner. Music and activities through the day for all ages. Everyone is welcome, everyone feels welcome and everyone blends together no matter if you’re a single couple, young or not or family, everyone gets to have fun. Food again great selection of restaurants and bites. Water park amazing. The cleanliness at this resort is beyond amazing, I know that my post feels like I’m paid to advertise but we’ve been at the resort for 7 days, we didn’t know what to expect, but it was just an amazing stay. But again nothing will be possible without the hard work of the staff that puts a smile on your face from the first thing in the morning when they greet you. Muchas gracias por todo lo que hacen!

I had a lovely, albeit short, stay here, arriving on a Saturday evening and departing in a Monday morning. This was my first time in Punta Cana and first time at a resort. I was very impressed. The staff were lovely. I received a particularly warm welcome from Adrian at check in, and Lucy in Ventanas also made me feel special. My room was comfortable with everything I needed. As I was alone, and only there for a short time, I stuck to the buffet for meals - I found it very good. As a vegetarian, there were lots of options. The salad bar in particular was always very fresh. The pool is fantastic and I also enjoyed swimming at the beach. The resort felt very safe, which was important to me as a solo woman traveller. It has a bit of a Kellermans vibe with merengue classes and bingo…a 5-star Kellermans in the Caribbean is hard to beat!

Hello, Im not one to write a bad review but I tell you when I don’t want people to waste their money and a vacation at a subpar establishment….We checked into Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana yesterday.Unfortunately our experience has been very disappointing. Shortly after eating at the resort, my mother-in-law became ill, and with children and elderly family members traveling with us, it created a very stressful situation for our family on the first day of our vacation. The food hall is disgusting the service is terrible. The food was soo bad. It’s so sad on the outside it looks nice but it’s not. Very dated musty smell everywhere. I warn anyone looking at this to stay away. All the influencers and reviews that say this place is great are lying. We planned this trip as an opportunity to spend quality time together and celebrate as a family, especially after a very demanding year. Instead of relaxing and enjoying our time together, we’ve spent the first day worried about health concerns and whether it is safe or comfortable to continue staying at the property. They didn’t have a room ready they expected us to have a room on a upper floor with 3 kids and a infant… We got to relocate us to Dreams Onyx. And let’s just say for a few more dollars it’s wayyyyy better. This change helped salvage the remainder of our family vacation and provide a safer and more enjoyable environment for our children and grandparents.

Based on a couple of Highs and a couple of lows resulted in 3 stars overall. Last minute booking ( 2 days before departure) with AC Vacations and we chose the Alltra Club for a couples getaway. The welcome by Yerani at the Club VIP (and she was fabulous all week long) and the first impressions of the resort were 5 star. The other 2 staff members that deserved 5 star were Josee M at Costa Azul (breakfast and lunch) who started our mornings off with smiles and great conversations). Also super impressive was Diovelra at the VIP lounge bar and lastly , Julio ( almost certain) at Umi. One of the "butlers" at Cosecha beach bar was also friendly though unfortunately do not recall his name, Aside from them, we were blown away about how little most others appears to wanted to be there. Hardly anyone smiled and moved around as disgruntled as possible ( we did not interact with pool hospitality people so can not comment on them ...this would be any other restaurant and bar not mentioned above). I can give a food and drink beverage manager more info on a couple of meals at Brasas and Bellas if they want to reach out to me directly. Other reason for 3 stars was that the VIP section of the beach seemed very crammed in (especially to get the small area of shade ((provided by the palm trees only)) behind the 2 bed canopies) . Had to get down there at 5:30 to get one of the 10 chairs that received shade most of the day. Would think a VIP section of the beach would have individual umbrellas. This could be our fault too for not reviewing this aspect a head of time so were taken back ... We did not mind no reservation policy as ate early anyway and enjoyed the overall quiet of the resort (beach area) and the beautiful walk ways around the property. Lots of families there with young children yet the whole property still seemed quiet (nice for us) overall!!! Great food, a few excellent staff , very clean room and property and a nice beach!!!!

This is the first time I traveled. Punta Cana, why not. This resort is beautiful! When we first arrived the overall impression was inviting and grand. All the plants and birds, the pool and still river, we were so excited to relax. The only detail was the room was not extremely clean as expected. When I was going to bathe, the shower head basically broke, but they were quickly to fix the issue. Shout out to Vianca, Lenny, Roberto from Ventanas Restaurant, even when there was a rush, they really tried to make the best of it to resolve. I understand how certain restaurants and access is given only to VIP guest. Raul and Wilbin, activities cannot be so great and entertaining without you! I laughed and felt very welcome. Overall the staff is very nice. Spend time at the beach and most of the time at the pool, it's perfect for a short trip. Hopefully will return in the near furture!
