Pros: Great staff! very helpful, they went above and beyond! Isabel and Christin(concierge) were amazing to work with! The rooms were clean and housekeeping was great! Cons: The food was horrible at the buffets. I got indigestion after my first meal. Fusion was the only restaurant with good food. The pools close early and not much to do for teens or adults! the beach had a lot of seaweed so made it hard for good photos.

An Amazing Stay at Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana! My stay at Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana was absolutely amazing! From the beautiful atmosphere to the excellent service, I had a wonderful experience overall. The resort offered a relaxing and enjoyable vacation, and the staff truly helped make my stay memorable. The biggest standout of my entire trip was my butler, Michael Chalas! He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying my stay. He consistently checked in with me to see how everything was going and whether I needed any assistance. Whether it was making reservations for the spa or booking restaurants, he made the entire process seamless and stress-free. His attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine care made me feel well taken care of throughout my vacation. Michael truly deserves recognition for the outstanding service he provided! I also had the opportunity to dine at every restaurant at the resort, and my favorite, hands down, was Seaside Grill! The experience was fantastic and definitely a highlight of my stay. I loved having the opportunity to try all the different dining options, and Seaside Grill was the one that stood out the most to me. Unfortunately, the one disappointment during my stay was Mercure, the French restaurant. The wait for the food was quite long, and when the food finally arrived, it was overcooked. This was disappointing, especially compared to the otherwise wonderful dining experiences I had throughout the resort. Hopefully, this is an area the restaurant can improve. Aside from that one dining experience, I had a fantastic vacation and truly enjoyed my time at Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana. The resort, the overall atmosphere, and especially the exceptional service from Michael made my trip special. And OMG, my Preferred Club Junior Suite Swim Out was absolutely stunning! The room was beautiful, spacious, and everything I could have wanted for a relaxing tropical getaway. Having direct swim-out access made the experience feel extra special and added such a luxurious touch to my stay. Waking up in such a gorgeous space truly elevated my entire vacation. The room was definitely another highlight of my experience at Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana, and I couldn’t have been happier with my choice! I would absolutely recommend this resort and would love to return! And if you have the opportunity to have Michael Chalas as your butler, you will be in excellent hands. He was truly the highlight of my stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Dreams Royal Beach! This resort is perfect for young families, especially if you book a Preferred Club suite with a private pool. Having our own pool made such a difference when traveling with young children-it was perfect for nap times because we could still relax and enjoy the pool without having to leave the room. The service throughout the resort was incredibly attentive, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and accommodating. A special shoutout to Yaca at the Preferred Club and Daily at the Market Café on the Preferred side. They both went above and beyond and helped make our stay even more enjoyable. The pools were always the perfect temperature, and we never had trouble finding chairs, whether we chose to spend the day by the pool or at the beach. The entire resort and facilities were consistently clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the birria and al pastor tacos at the Mexican restaurant - definitely something we recommend having! Overall, Dreams Royal Beach was an excellent choice for our family. Between the private pool suite, attentive service, beautiful beach and pools, clean facilities, and family-friendly atmosphere, it made traveling with young children easy and enjoyable. We would absolutely recommend it to other families!

Our family of four (two daughters ages 11 and 13) returned to Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana for five nights in October 2026, and we had an incredible experience! The weather was perfect, and the resort was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. We’ve stayed at multiple Dreams Resorts in Mexico (Cancun and Tulum), and this one was by far the best. FOOD – The food was consistently fresh and delicious across all restaurants, and there were plenty of spots to grab a drink throughout the day. We did not pay for the Preferred upgrade, which offers additional dining options, but honestly never felt we were missing out. The World Café buffet, a Dreams signature, was smaller than others we’ve experienced—which we loved, as it didn’t feel like a crowded cafeteria. BEACH & POOLS – The beach was incredible! It’s huge, with plenty of shaded and sunny loungers always available. There’s a large stretch of soft sand before the water begins—perfect for playing or relaxing. The water was shallow, warm, and clean, and staff worked diligently to clear seaweed each morning. You can walk for miles in either direction, and while beach vendors regularly approached us, they were never bothersome. We also appreciated that the beach was well-lit at night, which added both ambiance and security. The multiple pool options were equally great—clean, warm, and never overcrowded. ENTERTAINMENT – The nightly entertainment was fun and varied. The main shows began at 9pm, but there were always opening acts and interactive performances starting around 8pm. Daily activities were plentiful for all ages. HOTEL – While there was some ongoing construction, it was never disruptive. The resort’s size (about 350 rooms) was ideal—easy to navigate, and no need for elevators. We also appreciated that staff were friendly and professional without being pushy about upgrades or timeshare presentations. TRANSFERS – We booked private airport transfers directly through HQT and highly recommend them—affordable, safe, reliable, and seamless from start to finish. AIRPORT – The Punta Cana Airport was a pleasant surprise: small, uncrowded, and easy to navigate. Overall, beautiful core memories were made at this gem of a resort. We can’t wait to return for a third time! 🌴

Not too far from the airport, great experience, they took security very seriously, many dining options and good food.. went with a group and entertainment staff Tarzan, Rosa, London & Pikachu all made the experience feel personal and memorable. And Jordan at the Hibachi was also fantastic! I do wish the beach was more secure, (vendors were fine but there were people in uniforms trying to take people to other locations) i also wish they had pool side snack options available to order during the day
