I think this hotel and resort is very nice and to standpoint on this review, I think it deserves it’s 4.4 star rating (at the time that I’m writing this) there is still a lot that I think could be improved especially what I would love is that they have a bracelet/band system that divides the kids between the adults(I am 19 M) I was here with me, friends, family, my girlfriend and my dad plus a few friends that we met online and figured out that they came that makes us. A group of 12, which to be honest, wasn’t easy to get a reservation at the most sought after restaurant, but I didn’t think it was that good I think the food quality was pretty good. The rooms were very mediocre. They weren’t like other resorts. I visited where they have treats but they have a lot of drinks and personally top 10 best cocktails I was also here during the Fourth of July event.(a.k.a America’s Independence Day) and I think the party was pretty fun. The entertainment team is very nice and I love that they have their own subgroup for their entertainment which I think are the best. If you would have to ask me I think the best restaurant wasn’t actually a restaurant but a taco truck beside the waterpark next to the special drink bar. i’m going to write a separate review about breathless sense. It was a completely different story, but to put it in a conclusion about it was awkward as hell only me and my girlfriend plus a few friends of mine that came along could enter a since they were above the age and we kind of left a little bit of the younger kids behind since they weren’t above 18 I think the staff are amazing and do the best they can what I find funny is me and my girlfriend and my friends family, the oldest of the sons when we try to get drinks we get yelled at because they think we’re under age. That’s why I would really like a band system because then you can determine from the adults to the kids. We had to bring our IDs everywhere and if you are reading this preview and you were between the ages of 18 and 21 or a very young adult that looks like a kid not to be offensive but you are going to need you to bring your ID everywhere. Absolutely everywhere since the bars are completely scattered in conclusion. I think there is some things to improve about this resort, but between the food drinks and entertainment I would give it a 4.5 star review

Dreams Onyx completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything felt elevated and intentional. The property itself is beautiful — front to back, this place is immaculate and well-run in every way. What really made the stay special was upgrading to the Preferred Club. The Butler service was incredible — attentive without being intrusive, anticipating things before we even thought to ask. It honestly transformed the entire experience from a great vacation into something we’ll remember for a long time. One honest note on the beach: depending on the time of year, seaweed can accumulate heavily along the shoreline — and I mean heavily. There were stretches where getting into the water wasn’t really an option. That said, the resort staff works continuously to manage it, and it’s a natural condition of the Caribbean, not a reflection of how the property is run. If the beach is your number one priority, just be aware and check the season. But if you’re going for the full resort experience — the pools, the food, the service, the vibe — none of that is impacted at all, and Dreams Onyx absolutely delivers. The rooms were spotless, the staff were warm and genuinely engaged, and every detail was handled with care. If you’re on the fence about the Preferred Club upgrade, do it. It’s worth every penny. Highly recommend — just go in knowing the beach can have its moments, and you’ll still leave blown away by everything else.

This resort is a dream! It was only a 40 min drive from the airport. The resort itself is beautiful! It is clean, updated and the rooms are spacious and beautifully done. The staff were so kind, from check in to the bartenders to the housekeepers… everyone was kind and accommodating. The food is delicious, drinks are strong, pools and entertainment are abundant… it was amazing! We will definitely be back

Had a great trip here with my family. Carlos, Ventura, and Abraham made our trip so much better by their amazing customer service everyday we were there. I was also able to go Breathless next door that was adults only and had a casino. First all inclusive would do again because of the entertainment and amenities of the resort.
