Lovely hotel, the staff are really helpful and attentive.
Really good pool area and lots of sun beds, there is access to swim in the sea via a pontoon.
We stayed B&B the breakfast was fantastic so much choice and variety and also a good selection of gluten free food.
We got upgraded to a junior suite which really topped off a great stay

Fantastic hotel. Staff are perfect and exhibit signs of being well trained.
Example; we arrived at 2am after a long exhausting day and was greeted very well by the night reception easing all our travel tensions.
We have stayed at this hotel 12 years before and were determined to return due to the loveliness of hotel and food.
We were not disappointed at all so congratulations to hotel and staff for consistency. So delighted we have booked again for a May visit next year.
We had a Garden view room at the rear which overlooks to the mountains. Very nice room and very quiet which we loved.
So much choice for meals.
My wife is gf and well catered for.
Loved the sushi night on the Saturday.
Varied entertainment throughout the week.

Lovely clean hotel with some great staff. Food was amazing especially the bbq night. It was a 25 min walk to the harbour and well worth a visit to Chloies Chinese restaurant. There were always sunbeds available at any time of day.

Perfect place to relax!
The hotel has a beautiful location right by the sea, with stunning sunsets you can enjoy directly from the terrace. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast and dinner offer a great variety of fresh and tasty food. The pool area is clean and peaceful – ideal for relaxing. The location is great, close to Paphos but quiet enough for a truly restful stay.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a calm and quality holiday in Cyprus! 🌅🇨🇾

The best part of this hotel is the pool area with incredible sea and mountain views. Sadly, the whole pool area closes at 6 PM, which is way too early — we weren’t even allowed to stay on the sunbed.
The rooms - it's a lottery what you will get (new building or the old rooms near pool). In general most are outdated with no soundproofing, and furnitures are worn and tired. A lot is stuck in 90s here.
Housekeeping shows up whenever it suits them. Ours came at 9 AM and said she doesn't have time to come back later.
Bathroom has zero toiletries except a mystery soap in a refillable dispenser without label — not ideal if you have sensitive skin. Bring your own.
Breakfast is okay, with live cooking of eggs and pancakes, but ingredients are cheap and not always fresh. Hygiene could be better — same cloth used on all tables without any spray in sight.
On the plus side, bar prices are fair, and there’s a hotel-owned kiosk for snacks and drinks.
Overall, great views, but service and quality need serious improvement in order to reach 4 star level.

Great view from restaurant and pool. Food is ok. Everything else is not ok. Water in the pool is cold. Nesrest beach is not near. It is dirty, with stones, not usable for smimming. Wifi is either not working or very low signal. Rooms are clean but need repair. There is a smell in bathroom.

We have just returned from Theo sunset bay for a week. The views were nothing but spectacular, the staff were absolutely amazing. The food (all inclusive & bar) was fantastic. The daily water aerobics was great fun - Olivia you really are amazing. The guest relations manager Anastasia literally spent time getting to know the guests along with Olivia. To see such big smiles walking around the hotel each day was something I have never seen before. The only let down was the evening entertainment, Alexandra was fabulous massive hats off to her for getting all the guests involved with her energy. Olivia would run the daily activities around the hotel, even including wine tasting with cheese - that was lovely! We will be returning in September 2026. Thank you to all the staff for their welcoming and service with smiles. The room was cleaned everyday, our cleaner was such a lovely lady. The entire hotel was continuously cleaned, even the public toilets were always in tip top order. This hotel should be higher star rating than what it is. I would 100% recommend this to families.

Hotel room was just ok, AC had problem the first day then they fixed it. A strong smell of mold was there though.
No daily room cleaning in 40 degrees in Cyprus is a huge disappointment.
The staff overall average from reception to the bar, cleaners, except the manager who was really attentive and accommodating i must say.
We are all inclusive and they locked the ice cream fridge so you couldn’t have an ice cream at 9pm, we paid a lot for two rooms to not have ice cream at 9-10pm since we were “all inclusive”.
Wifi the worst ever.
The beach close to the hotel is actually full of huge rocks and is very dangerous so must take a car and drive for about 5 mins to a nice decent beach.
The only thing i liked was the beautiful sea view of the hotel, just that.
Not the best experience overall.
For the money you get better hotels and definitely better experience.

We went here as a last minute change to our honeymoon. Had to email the hotel about wife's allergies and disability, a very prompt reply came reassuring us all was sorted. On arrival staff were wonderful so friendly and professional. The room was fantastic, big enough for a family with a kid. Great view. Every time we went for food they checked with the chefs about the allergies, I cannot fault them they made every effort to give us every bit of information we needed. The pool and area around it was clean and tidy, the pool was cold but im not complaining was needed to cool down when the 30c sun cooked me enough. The bar inside was really nice, the bar outside was great, manoh behind the bar was fantastic, they all were. The entertainment was good, bingo 6 nights a week, kids disco, elvis, karaoke, fire show (was awesome) bird show and dancers. Back to the food, it was buffet food but a different theme every night, salads, cheeses, 8/9 different main style foods to choose from, plenty of sides, breakfast had fresh omelettes and pancakes made there and then, again plenty of options cereals, toasts, bacon sausage etc. The entertainers were great, even on quieter days they still had great energy, the did pool volleyball, aquarobics, bingo, bowls, quizzes, darts and pool so plenty to do. The view from the hotel was wonderful, with the demetrious shipwreck just off the coast. The reception staff helped with all days out, booking them etc and arranging transport. Excellent visit. So much so booked again for next year.

We have just returned home after an absolutely amazing holiday.
Such a fantastic place to stay, the hotel had such a lovely atmosphere from the very moment you arrived. All of the staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful.
The AI was brilliant, we were literally spoilt for choice for every meal, they had a great mix of themed nights from Asian to Italian to traditional. Every day there were lots of different fresh salads, succulent meats/fish and vegetables.
The staff couldn't do enough for me, I have a gluten and dairy intolerance and I was extremely well catered for, nothing was to much trouble. The management team would always check in with me and then call the chef out to run through everything on the buffet even offering fresh substitutes if needed.
Everything on the buffet was clearly individually labeled with any allergens. For breakfast the omelette station was fab and there was a great choice of drinks including proseco!!
There was even a snack bar at the pool that served fresh takeaway salads /chips and other goodies.
The AI drinks were also fab, huge choice of local spirits and cocktails and the all important lemon Fanta!! (hotels own version)
All of the bar staff were brilliant and gave excellent service often stating "if you are happy, we are happy"
The rooms were like apartments, really spacious, modern and clean and we had a great side sea view, you could literally see the sea from our bed!
There was always plenty of parasols /sunbeds and there was a lovely large pool and a beautiful view of the sunset in the evenings.
The coastal path was gorgeous, with lots of little beaches to explore.
This was our first trip to Cyprus and we will definitely be coming back next year, thanks to everyone at Atlantica Akteon!!

The most stand out feature of our trip was the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. The grounds were kept impeccably clean. I don’t know how busy the hotel was, but we never had to queue for drinks at the bar and the buffet food court was never too busy, and always plenty of food on offer. Sun loungers were always available by the main pool which was lovely (but a little chilly as it wasn’t heated).
It is a bit out of the way, a one hour walk to the Tomb of the Kings for example but there is a good bus service and CABCY was a brilliant way to get around. Approx. €10 into the centre of Paphos. It was perfect for us as we didn’t want to be in the hustle bustle anyway.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay! We were definitely sorry to leave and would consider coming back again.

Just stayed here for 8 nights. Rooms are lovely and clean. Shop is good and not too expensive. All staff are so friendly and nothing is ever to much. Food was not to our liking, pretty average, nicest thing was the bolognese. Drinks are nice and strong, the pink gin fizz was lovely. Entertainment was okay, the elvis tribute was great, the group of dancers were good too.
Would I stay here again? Yes
Would I recommend to a friend? Yes

Recently stayed at this hotel for a week and we had a fab time. Food was 10/10, fab variety with themed nights through the week. Everything was hot, all the meat we had throughout our stay was so tender. Great variety of drinks, with excellent service behind the bar. For your lunch time and evening meal there are waiters to come and take your drinks order which I thought was great, you get a real drink in a real glass. Desserts were always delicious. Rooms were REALLY spacious with extremely comfy beds (I feel like I hadn’t seen that mentioned much in previous reviews). Cracking air con too. Fridge was regularly stocked up with big bottles of water. Tea and coffee making facilities also in room. Plenty of sunbeds to choose from, this was October though so not sure about peak season. Gorgeous view of the sea. We got a late flight when we arrived and there was a plate of sandwiches and fruit waiting for us and refreshments, I thought this was a nice touch. You are a bit in the middle of nowhere, keep that in mind. I knew that when we booked, but talking to other guests they were surprised with how little surroundings there are. DO NOT USE MIKES TAXIS! this is the company the hotel use and they are shocking. Don’t turn up and when they do they charge the earth. I caught on to this on the first day and then downloaded CABCY which is basically uber. Cheap and reliable. Taxi to the harbour was costing me about €10 each way. Your pretty much a 5/10min drive from anything. Used the spa, massage was fantastic. Although pool/hot tub was not heated. Entertainment all through the day and night without being pushy to join in , nobody ever came to our sunbed to ask which I loved! All in all I’m giving 5star… food, drink, service, rooms, bed, views all bloody fantastic! Just a little secluded.

From the moment we arrived we were treated like king and Queens as we had our wedding booked. We had prosecco welcome drinks a romantic room.turn down on arrival and afternoon style tea in the room.as we missed dinner. And got a room upgrade.
Wedding day 21.10.25 WOW, the buffet food we chose for our menu was out of this world 🌎 😋 everyone made comment on how good it was!!
My only minus was our wedding cake didn't get cut up so hardly anyone ate it. But in grand scheme that wasn't a big deal.

How is this classed at only 4 star,definitely 5 plus maybe higher.we didn't get the room we paid for of the view but ours was fantastic anyway,we're not people to quibble about silly things after all on holiday a room is for just sleeping and cleaning and storage.As for the staff,they are the most selfless,thoughtful, caring people we have encountered on our many journeys. The food is outstanding, so much choice and we love the themed nights,the hotel is so clean and well maintained, staff helpful and amazing,definitely stems from the management, manager is just simply the nicest most down to earth man you could meet.
We have nothing but praise for this amazing place, will definitely be coming back to cyprus, paphos and definitely here.

Just returned from a holiday in this wonderful hotel. What an amazing time we had. We didn't want to leave. Fantastic friendly staff who were always available for anything that was required. Superb room with sea view, amazing food. So much choice for breakfast and beautifully prepared. I loved the Cyprus night with all the Cypriot dishes, singing and traditional dancing. My father was Greek Cypriot and this brought back so many memories. Watching the sunset over the sea. I could go on forever. It was sad to say goodbye. Thank you all so much.

Been to Paphos multiple times but have stayed at a different hotel on all inclusive basis. We have decided to stay at Alexander The Great after walking past on numerous occasions & it always looked nice so we thought we would chance it.
We arrived after dinner service & found a plate of food in the room. Reception told us we had a welcome drink aswell but never received this. We booked full board plus which we thought was different to just full board but it was the same. Room location was good & what we had booked a sea view.
The hotel has an excellent system in place with sunbed allocation for your stay which can be amended if you are not happy. We were allocated sunbeds 65 which were in a perfect location overlooking the beach & a short walk from the pool area.
Food in the hotel not the greatest & not a lot of choice quite similar most nights & lot of beef & pork! A little suggestion for lunches would be to have the continental meats & cheeses out at lunch rather than just breakfast as these would have been perfect with salads. A number of times we went in the restaurant at lunch time seemed to be short staffed & we had to take a seat ourselves & wait a while for our only drink order to be taken.
In the bar area I was sat for almost 1 hour for a waiter/waitress to ask me if I want a drink (there were 3 members of staff on at the time). Bar prices are competitive with local bars which was good.
We booked a room with late check out as our flight was not until 10pm but received a letter from the hotel reception advising that we would re-activate our room key & extend the sunbed allocation which we were fine with, but if we wanted an evening meal we would have to pay for this, even though the food was not the greatest it would have been nice for the hotel to offer this free of charge.
Overall the hotel is lovely & located in a perfect location but unfortunately I don't think we will be returning due to the food not being up to standard for us & us preferring the all inclusive option.

A very decent hotel. Clean, cleaned daily, towels changed every other day. The staff is undoubtedly a plus. They are wonderful and well-mannered, whether it was the receptionist, the kitchen staff (whom I warmly greet), or the gentleman at the pool bar. The food was excellent, varied, and themed. There was no monotony, and there was always something different to eat. My only complaint is the time. The hotel has definitely been around for a few years, and some maintenance work would be useful. Plaster is falling off here, a mirror frame is bent there, a bathroom mirror is hanging, and there's a lot of that. These are minor repairs that don't cost much to fix and could significantly improve the quality. Perfect localization! Another plus is that it's not some incredibly large resort like all the others nearby. The staff has time for you, and there are no crowds.

The rooms are vintage in a “hasn’t-been-renovated-since-Berlin-Wall” kind of way. The Wi-Fi moves slower than a snail on vacation, and the breakfast proudly stays the same every single day — probably since 1992. 🥐
At the buffet, nothing is labeled, so breakfast becomes a fun game of “guess the mystery sauce.” Is it yogurt? Is it mayonnaise? Who knows — live dangerously! 🎲
The pools (both indoor and outdoor) are refreshing… if you’re a penguin. 🐧
The infrastructure is as old as the décor, and the pool boy enforces the “don’t move the umbrellas” rule like it’s a matter of national security — mostly because he doesn’t want to move them back. ☀️💪(not really)
Timetables are a suggestion, not a promise: breakfast starts at 8 (because who needs early mornings on vacation?), and the pool sometimes closes at 16:00, apparently whenever the staff gets bored. ⏰
Speaking of staff — they’re nice! Just… quiet. Very quiet. Like “monastery retreat” quiet. 🤫
💬 Final verdict: Perfect if you love cold water, warm bread, slow Wi-Fi, and mysterious silence. For everyone else — bring a blanket, a hotspot, and low expectations. 😅

The best times of thid hotel are history. It is quite worn out, furniture is very old. Breakfast is okay, location is also good. They have a big garden with a lot of sunbeds and space, what could be an issue with some other hotels. But price is to high for what they offer.

I would like to say special thank you to the Lady call Kriti at the reception desk who’s very kind helping me to check in. As a 72 year old suffering from a “technology challenge “ without her help I might had to sleep in street that night!
I arrived around 19:00 -20:00 hours didn’t have a hotel paperwork confirmation as I didn’t know that everything was in Jet2 App or email. I was so stressful as I couldn’t check-in, even though my name and booking confirmation was in the hotel computer system. The lady at the reception was so unhelpful but luckily Kriti overheard and saw how stressful I was. She jumped in and requested if I can permit her to my phone so that she can find the confirmation for the hotel. Within 5 minutes she solved the issue with no fuss. Thank you so much Kriti. You should be recognised as the employee of the year for Aquamare Hotel. my experience might be useful for elderly guests in the future for this hotel.
Positive feedback:- breakfast excellent, location is perfect for beach front, cleanliness is excellent thanks to the cleaning teams, Gym is excellent, especially Maria is very knowledgeable about all kinds of exercises. Rooms (standards needed to upgrade) to standard of 4 Stars. Will I return ? Yes, but “upgrade to Sea View is a MUST!

We stayed here in a large party for a wedding. The staff are great apart from the cleaners we're known to be stealing things from our room. We never left any money out but we had a pair of expensive trainers stolen that never left the room since we arrived. Ofcourse nothing was ever done even after reporting it twice nothing was ever even noted by the hotel reception. Apart from that we had a nice stay.

We came for the second time and I would definitely go back again! Hotel itself was beautiful, food was amazing, lovely cocktails and most of all staff- starting from reception, housekeeping ladies, waiters, bar staff, managers! Just unbelievably welcoming and friendly! Marina, Flex, both Anna’s looked after us so very well! I can’t remember all the names but every single one of them were so wonderful! I would definitely recommend this place over and over again :)

This is my 2nd time coming to this hotel, my grandparents have been coming for the past 7 years. The service is outstanding from all the staff. The room was looked after everyday by cleaners, the food was lovely and never got bored of it due to different things on each night. Would love to give a shout to Anna behind the bar who looked after us each day, all the managers who went above and beyond for me, Maria who is a fabulous waitress. The hotel isn’t far from the harbour, there’s shops close by (10 minute walk)

The hotel overall is quite nice, with its own private beach. The beach itself is not very clean, and the sea is very rocky, so you really need special shoes to swim.
Marina at the bar is amazing – she makes delicious drinks and is such a cheerful and positive woman, which makes every visit to the bar a pleasure.
Vita in the spa is also wonderful – she gives excellent massages, and the service and atmosphere are truly relaxing. Altogether, a good place with great staff who make the stay even more enjoyable

We spent a wonderful week at the Leonardo Laura Beach Hotel. The room was beautiful, the view was stunning, and the food was delicious and varied. The staff were kind, attentive, and always ready to help.
A special thanks to Szidonia and Orsi, who were exceptionally friendly and caring – they truly made our stay feel extra special.
We also loved the beach, the pools, and the water park – a perfect choice for families with children.
The entertainment team also did a fantastic job creating a fun and cheerful atmosphere throughout our stay.

First the good.
The room was okay - think Travelodge and as a place to sleep rather than anything executive and you'll be fine. Not a 4 or 5 star hotel.
Food at the buffet was actually fairly reasonable and an alright although limited selection. The pizza during the afternoon at the Italian were much appreciated and of good quality - actually better than the ones in the main buffet and always available.
The burger place was okay. Nice to have waiter service for a change.
Bar service usually quick although most tasted of little bar the mixer.
The water park and swimming pools were enjoyable for the kids and the beach just along from the hotel was nice.
Now the poorer bits.
Entertainment was rubbish. Really rubbish.
The main dude in charge of it loves his own voice and played totally inappropriate songs early afternoon. Then spoiled any attempts by other staff to sing by taking over.
Also he was Shouting inappropriate comments at people and thinks he is funny - basically a bully with a microphone. There were a number of red headed kids in the place and he played some really dodgy song about redheads/gingers involving sexual lyrics which my 11yo daughter picked up on and got really upset at. The guy's a knob.
The quiz night was a photocopy of a few photos and that's it - we created a better quiz using Gemini in 3 seconds than what was provided.
The so called 5 speciality restaurants aren't there. I know it's off season but be honest and let people know that they're shut.
The TUI rep didn't know much about the area - told everyone to stand outside and get 610 bus when that didn't come close to hotel.
The beach bar was closed and the name of the rocks is accurate as it's not a beach that it's on - actually dangerous to get in sea at that point. Walk 5 or 10 minutes either direction for safer beach access.

We are staying here for 5 days. Hotel was full so we couldn’t get sea view room, we didn’t like our first inland family room was too small but guest relation staff helped us and change our room next morning. Except that everything here is fantastic. Great food and lot of food everywhere , great activities for kids, very friendly stuff. So maybe this is little bit older hotel but they will take your heart because they will give their best so you have wonderful memories and holidays. We love it! ❤️
P.S. I forgot to write about kiria Tekla, she is host at restaurant and she is amazing, always smiling always ready to help. Also girls at front desk are so nice and polite they know to work with highly demanding people, thanks again for changing our room 🤗

All the staff are friendly at this hotel and the facilities are great for the whole family. Our only complaint would be better vegan options as it was a bit limited but the rest of the family enjoyed all the options

This was my first trip aboard and i was absolutely amazed by the quality and service i received. i've already booked up again for next year.
My brother and his wife had stayed here earlier in the year and loved it so much they'd booked again for October, i'd decided to tag along at their request.
After arriving at the hotel we were greeted by friendly staff who ushered us inside add took our bags while we were directed to a complimentary glass of prosecco as we filled out the paperwork for our stay. when checking in i was informed i'd been upgraded to front's sea view room and the helpful member of staff on the counter talked me through all of the facilities and explained the serving times for meals and the booking system for the restaurants.
The room was fantastic, much larger than i expected and the view was great and everything was spotlessly clean. the bed was so soft i haven't slept that well in years.
The food was fantastic at the breakfast Buffett a great mixture (the banana ice cream is amazing) had to be careful not to eat too much. i can't speak for the meals in the evening as i spent much of the day/early evening exploring paphos and eating out. i will say the margherita pizza and the chips here are delicious.
the staff are fantastic, special mention to Prodomos who makes the best ouzo specials i've ever tasted, he was a true credit to you team and remembered my brother and his wife from their previous stay, he constantly checked in with us throughout our stay and wished us a safe flight up upon our departure.
the location is great the beach at the rear of the hotel is great to relax as is the pool area, there was always sun loungers available to us and never had any issues getting anywhere to sit.
make sure to wear plenty of sun cream though - i made the mistake of not wearing any and suffered the worst sunburn of my life.
Thank you guys for a fantastic first holiday abroad and I'll see you again when i return next year

Totally love it here most relaxing holiday I've ever had. I leave in 2 days and i don't want to go. The food and the drinks and staff are all brilliant and we are only a blue band (me and a girl mate). Didnt need branded drinks they are lovely. I'd definitely come back. Some negative reviews I have read are nit pickers! This isn't a 5 star hotel this is a 4 star and I think it's a really good one. The staff are so lovely so helpful. Its clean and there's been no sickness here the week ive been here. They have hand sanitiser to use before and after you touch the spoons but only I seemed to use it as im abit of a germaphobe. The only gripe i have is there is 2 if us and on arrival we only got 1 small bottle 500ml of water to share and was told we need to refill it? We won't get any more bottles (we did how ever, sometimes the cleaners would leave a 1tr bottle) water bottles are a daily basic standard anywhere I have been so pleass rethink that as that wasn't a good first impression for us. Over all I would definitely come back.

Amazing Service & Food
The staff were incredible—so friendly and genuinely helpful throughout our entire stay. But what truly blew us away was the food. We've stayed at many all-inclusive resorts, and I can confidently say the quality and variety here have been the best we've ever experienced. Absolutely top-notch!
Facilities & Entertainment
The pool facilities were beautiful and relaxing. We also thoroughly enjoyed the evening entertainment, especially catching the fantastic Elvis tribute act (definitely not the real Elvis, sadly, but what a show!).
Location & Value
The value for money here is outstanding. The location is grey (great!)—so close to the harbour, making exploring Paphos incredibly easy. To top it all off, there's a casino right across the road! We even had some luck on the very good slot machines and walked away about €200 richer—a brilliant bonus to an already perfect holiday!

I’d recommend avoiding this hotel. We stayed this year, and had a nice welcome from the staff in the lobby, which was where the good experience stopped unfortunately. The room was small, but overall cleanliness was acceptable.
The biggest issue we had was the quality of food at the buffet being far below the standards of what you’d expect. We overheard a few guests complain of upset stomachs, which didn’t fill us with confidence. We found out after checking in that there are three tiers of wristband, so booking all inclusive doesn’t necessarily mean a lot at all, and definitely doesn’t include everything (which, by definition, isn’t an all inclusive). The higher tiers unlock additional benefits that weren’t clear when booking, such as being able to reserve sunbeds, and being able to get branded drinks. Imagine an all inclusive where you can’t even get a Diet Coke - look no further!
I had some concerns around the pool bar area’s cleanliness too. The water was dirty, and had a terrible smell throughout our stay. To top things off, when we were paying for our late checkout, the front desk staff member couldn’t have been ruder. It’s not the place for me to name anyone in particular, as I believe just a few members of staff behaving in this way towards guests displays a failing at a senior level.
I would like to end on a positive though - the aqua aerobics was a delight in the pool, which is a daily activity.

Booked the hotel the last few days of a month in Cyprus so we are near the airport. Hotel nice but the rooms are a bit dated. The food on offer was ok but not quality goods. Not much to choose from. Pools are a nice size and the aqua aerobics are fun. Bars are open at 10am and unless you are premium you only get the cheapest of drinks. Which is adequate. Sunbeds are packed too close together resulting in lengthy walk around as you can’t squeeze through them. Location of the hotel is great with good local beaches nearby and easy access to the airport. If you arrive in your own car, parking may be a problem as the car park seems small. Staff are friendly and helpful. Sunbeds are somewhat of a problem as premium guests can reserve beds leaving only poorly placed beds left. One point to make is the beds become free for all after 12:30! So if a reserved Sunbed has nobody sitting on it after 12:30 it’s yours.
