Enjoyed this hotel from the moment I walked through the front door. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and quickly booked us in. I had a suite, which was perfectly spacious and clean. It was nice to see a pod coffee machine in the room. Food at the hotel was great, plenty of variety and always fresh. Plenty of entertainment going on throughout the day. The two entertainment staff were crazy!! The bar staff worked tirelessly to keep everyone's glasses filled. I had access to an area reserved for guests who had booked certain type rooms. This had plenty of loungers and it own pool. Was a great hotel for a relaxing holiday.

Lovely hotel in nice seaside resort. A quiet resort, with not a lot there, so, depends on what you like. The hotel is lovely, good is lovely with lots of health options, and the staff are so very nice, helpful, kind, patient. The one thing that could make this hotel excellent? Pool management would do it ( yeah, I know... a cold day in hell, right!!). Too many people doing their own thing and flaunting the published rules: reserving loungers, bringing their own music boom boxes to the pool, bringing their GLASS wine, beer, cocktail glasses to the pool and leaving them there, the list goes on. Selfish people ruin the experience for the majority of pool users. But that's every hotel, anywhere in the world, right?

Had an amazing stay here this week for our honeymoon. We were upgraded to a superior double sea view room as we had indicated in our booking that it was our honeymoon. From the moment we came in, we were greeted by Paula, who was very welcoming. Got given a glass of blue bubbly which was a nice surprise! We couldnt access our room until 3pm but we were able to use the facilities. When we got into our room, it was very tidy and looking at the view... WOW!! There's a different themed food night every night which was really nice and we always had a full plate! The menu is all buffet themed, there's a grill station, salad station, bread station, desserts station. As we were in a superior room, we had access to the infinity pool and the sun beds up the top which was really nice as there was always some available. A big shout out to Carlos, who was always happy to bring us drinks, we had such a laugh with him and he always had a smile on his face... you can tell he loves his job! Another shout out to Valentina, she was hilarious on the bingo night! Got the energy up in the crowd and we were always laughing! Housekeeping would come by every morning and refresh our room, change our bedsheets and bring us new towels. This was my first time abroad and I can say it did not disappoint! Thank you so much to all the Alua staff for making our honeymoon truly unforgettable 💖

The hotel is beautiful it’s clean and well kept. The facility are perfect you cannot fault them. What lest this hotel down is the staff. At reception we arrived late due to our flight being delayed and it felt like us arriving was an inconvenience to them. They gave us no information about the hotel just said download this app. Which was helpful but didn’t tell us where our room was or what floor so we had to guess. The bar staff are so miserable which is a shame every time you order a drink it feels like you have asked them to do more than their job. I will caviat this and say there were 3 members of the bar team who walk around and serve people drinks these 3 were fantastic and the other members of staff should follow. Most the bar staff won’t even give you a smile. Reception staff as well as being unhelpful has multiple people waiting to check in and a group of 3 of them were more bothered about looking at their nails and chatting then serving the guests who had just arrived. The reception has 4 computers so could have all got to work and helped the guests. I would definitely stay here again the miserable bar staff wouldn’t stop me coming we and my wife started to fined it funny and it became more of a Joke to us than an inconvenience. The food here is lovely and there was always a good selection only thing I would like to see more off would be more authentic Spanish food you don’t go on holiday to have the same food you get at home. Only think if you get a superior room with a side sea view you will be looking out onto Charlie’s bar’s bins from your balcony and can be a little loud. At night especially at weekends if you are a light sleeper the befor 1200 you won’t be getting to sleep

Very much recommended. We stayed there for a week in May. The buffet was excellent (we had breakfast and dinner) — huge selection and tasty food (the breakfast spread alone was worth the stay). The whole surroundings of the hotel have a laid-back, relaxed vibe — calm, friendly, and exactly what you want for a proper chill-out holiday. The pool area was great too: lovely big pools and loads of sunbeds so we always found the perfect spot without excessive stress. Nice atmospheric music also played by the pools. Great service, friendly staff, good rooms, and that peaceful atmosphere made it feel like a real getaway for us personally. Would love to come back. The surrounding bar can be a bit loud at nights, nothing that the hotel can probably really do about.
