We spent the last evening of our stay in Dubai at this beautiful hotel, just for a couple of drinks. The hotel itself, the reception, the lounge, the restaurant, and the bar are all truly amazing. The service is of a very high standard, and all the staff members were extremely friendly and professional. We waited a bit to get a table on the outdoor terrace with a fantastic view, and there we enjoyed some excellent drinks. A special thank you to Michela, whose warmth and friendliness added an extra touch to an already wonderful evening.

I was very disappointed with my recent Iftar experience at Armani Iftar. Unfortunately, it truly felt like the overall quality has gone downhill. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the venue was understaffed. Despite operating at full capacity during Ramadan which should be expected there were only 2–3 hostesses managing a very long line at the entrance. The wait was chaotic, and there didn’t seem to be an organized system in place. Due to the shortage of staff, the service lacked coordination. Guests were being guided to tables without any proper introduction or brief explanation of the floor layout. The tables were not cleared promptly, which affected the overall dining experience and comfort. Another major disappointment was the atmosphere. Having a live singer immediately after the Athan and Iftar did not reflect the spiritual and serene Ramadan vibe one would expect. The choice of songs classic Arabic love and breakup songs felt completely out of place for the occasion. Overall, I was not impressed with the experience. It felt more focused on the commercial aspect rather than true hospitality. It’s difficult to feel loyal to a brand when the customer experience does not reflect care, organization, or respect for the spirit of the season. I genuinely hope improvements are made, as the venue has strong potential but is currently falling short of expectations.

I feel disappointed with the Ramadan Iftar. There has been a noticeable decline in every aspect — from the service to the food, the atmosphere, and the overall quality. The food quality has dropped significantly. Most of the dishes are either not tasty or not prepared with the same quality as before. Even the variety of dishes has issues. For example, there are five types of ftayer appetizer pastries and all of them contain meat — not even a single cheese option. The grilled meat is tough and of low quality, and the shrimp is the same. Many of the dishes, despite being placed in heating trays, are cold or not fresh, such as the pastries and fried items. The dessert buffet has also become very limited. It mostly consists of what feels like 200 types of dates and only two types of Arabic sweets, none of which contain cream. There are many things that simply don’t make sense. The whole experience now feels purely commercial and nothing like how it used to be before.

We had our company Suhoor for clients at Armani and it was the most amazing night ever! The ambience, the food and the very helpful staff. From the planning stage with Deborah Awoyemi who was extremely supportive all the way to the actual Suhoor night where Yousef Kunjathur was extremely supportive and very accommodating. Would we do it again? Both the company I work in and myselfbwould definitely do it again!

This review is for Armani nights Iftar Buffet and not for hotel stay. I had the “pleasure” of attending what was marketed as an exclusive Iftar experience at Armani Hotel Dubai, located at the footsteps of the iconic Burj Khalifa. Given the prestige associated with both the hotel and its address, expectations were naturally high. Unfortunately, the reality fell dramatically short. Nothing about the evening felt exclusive, refined, or thoughtfully curated. The venue itself was overwhelmingly large, yet poorly structured and surprisingly unwelcoming. Instead of an intimate five-star Iftar experience, it felt chaotic and impersonal. We broke our fast with dates placed on the table — and the quality was frankly underwhelming. They were comparable to the very basic dates often distributed at charitable mosque Iftars. While there were reportedly better varieties available, they were placed 20–30 meters away with no signage or guidance. for a hotel of this statute, I would expect an assortment of luxury dates put straight on the table. That lack of direction was a recurring issue. There was absolutely no signage indicating where to find: • Starters • Cold mezze • Hot mezze • Main courses • BBQ stations • Desserts • Beverages There wasn’t even a simple menu card on the table explaining what was being served. Guests were left wandering around an enormous hall trying to piece together what cuisine was even on offer. Was this meant to be international? Lebanese? Arabic? Asian? Chinese? There was no coherent theme or identity — just a scattered assortment of dishes without explanation or narrative. The beverage selection was equally disappointing. Only green tea and black tea were available. No cappuccino. No brewed coffee. No milk-based options. No latte. No espresso. In a hotel of this stature, not offering basic coffee choices during Iftar is difficult to comprehend. Even water service lacked refinement — still water only, with no option for sparkling. Food quality overall was mediocre at best. The variety felt limited for a property that positions itself as ultra-premium. To be fair, there were a few highlights — some desserts were enjoyable, and the Armani signature chocolates were a nice touch. But these isolated positives were nowhere near enough to elevate what was otherwise a deeply underwhelming experience. The entire setup felt more like a logistical exercise than a hospitality experience. Instead of relaxing and enjoying Iftar in one of Dubai’s most prestigious addresses, it felt like participating in a large-scale treasure hunt — walking distances comparable to touring the Burj Khalifa itself just to locate basic items. I arrived expecting the sophistication and excellence of a flagship five-star property. What I experienced felt closer to a disorganized, mid-tier buffet lacking identity, clarity, and warmth. A truly disappointing evening at what should have been a benchmark in luxury hospitality.
