We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The atmosphere was warm, relaxing, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, making us feel very well taken care of throughout our stay. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, and the overall experience reflected a true spirit of generous hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would be delighted to return in the future. Highly recommended!

Perfect hotel for exploring the west (best) side of Crete! We stayed for 7 days with half board in late June and were really impressed by our room, food and the lovely staff. We opted for the private residence area as we heard the food was better and more peaceful and weren't disappointed! The residence area had plenty of sunbeds and a decent pool with a great bar. The bar and buffet restaurant staff were really friendly, and the breakfast buffet was phenomenal- had the perfect balance of sweet and savoury with some nice Cretan favourites. The evening buffet was also excellent, with a good choice of Greek stews and pasta dishes as well as some freshly cooked starters. The room with balcony was an excellent size with really good air-con, however as it is a 5-star hotel I would have liked the option of soft drinks and alcoholic drinks in the fridge (there were some good shops nearby though selling cheap drinks). If hiring a car I would highly recommend using the underground car park as this made the car much cooler, there were plenty of spaces available. The main hotel was also really good, however just a lot busier especially around the pool area and buffet. Also, as we arrived late to the resort after 11pm, they provided us a free lunch at the resort after checkout which was really kind, and we were able to still use the amenities after checkout including the spa. To improve, more checks should have been in place to ensure people using the buffet were permitted to use the buffet, as I was never asked about our room number when sitting down for meals. I also noticed some people using the pool were not hotel guests; there were no gates or barriers preventing people from walking in from the street. Overall, amazing hotel!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Avra Imperial. This is a truly beautiful place, with amazing architectural solutions, breathtaking pools, a fantastic spa, and outstanding service. I would especially like to highlight the attitude and professionalism of the Service Manager, Sokrates. He is an exceptional professional — attentive, always present, and clearly dedicated to making sure everything runs perfectly. The restaurant staff were incredibly kind and hardworking. It was impressive to see how much effort they put into their work while always remaining friendly and welcoming. A special 5-star mention goes to Tasos, who represents the true spirit of Greek hospitality with his warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for guests. Touqeer was also very kind and helpful, but honestly, every member of the team made us feel welcome.The housekeeping team and the bell staff were also extremely polite, friendly, and attentive — their kindness and willingness to help truly added to our experience. Thank you Avra Imperial for an unforgettable experience — we will remember our stay fondly!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Avra Imperial and can highly recommend this hotel! The hotel is beautiful, our room was perfect, and we especially loved the adults-only area. As a couple, we really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the overall concept. The food was excellent, with great variety and very high quality. The service throughout the hotel was exceptional as well!! Literally everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this was one of the best hotel stays we have ever had. We had an unforgettable holiday. Thank you!

WOW WOW WOW, i have to say this is the best hotel i have ever stayed in. We was in a shared pool room. The room was lovely (beds are 2 doubles on down) however we found ourself staying around the amazing pools most of our day because they was so exceptional. We was on an all inclusive deal which included bottled drinks such as corona and every cocktail on the menu. It also included the amazing spa. I have to say the facilitiea are amazing. The food was also exceptional. I will 100% come back to this hotel. The location is 15 min drive from amazing beaches there is also some resturants a 5 min walk along the beach. Also if anyone goes try the sea front lunch. Amazing. 10/10 a great holiday
