This is an excellent hotel with clean, comfortable rooms and a very friendly and helpful staff. The resort features four swimming pools with different depths, including children's pools and an adults-only pool, as well as a spa, an à la carte restaurant, and a mini market stocked with everything you might need during your stay. The food is excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. Coffee, water, and soft drinks are available in unlimited quantities during meals. The hotel also has its own beach. When booking, it's worth checking whether your reservation includes complimentary beach vouchers or if you'll need to pay for sunbeds. A set of two sunbeds and an umbrella costs €15 per day. There is also a beach bar where you can order drinks and food while enjoying the sea. Hotel is located near the city of Chania, and there is a bus or a taxi that can take you there. The Platanias village have a lot of different restaurants, tavernas and markets.

The hotel was okay overall, and the room cleaning service was excellent — the housekeeping staff did a great job every day. However, the rooms had a slightly musty and damp smell, which was quite unpleasant at times. We also had an issue with the bathroom drain: whenever the neighbors took a shower, foam and water would come back up through our drain. The walls are very thin, so you can hear almost everything. People walking by with suitcases, conversations, and even snoring from neighboring rooms were clearly audible. Because of this, I would not say the hotel truly meets a 5-star standard. The all-inclusive food was decent and varied enough, and there was a large selection of cakes and desserts, which was nice. However, with the all-inclusive package, there was only one bar where cocktails were available. In the restaurant, drinks were limited to soft drinks, juice, beer, and wine. The restaurant staff were friendly and polite, but unfortunately the service was often slow. Many times we had to wait a long time for drinks, and sometimes we had already finished eating before the drinks arrived. We did not travel during peak season, so the hotel area was calmer, but people still reserved sunbeds early with towels because there were not enough available. Also, using a sunbed at the beach cost an extra €15, which felt overpriced.

August, family of 4 in Suite with private pool. - hotel is very clean, food is good and the location is quite nice. The beach in front is blue flag one where kids can play safely. A lot of small fish and you can do snorkeling near the rocks with small children as well. - bathroom was well designed for a family having 2 showers and 2 sinks - special place with showers and changing rooms for the last day if you have a late flight. - I did not use the private pool to much but it was a nice perk. I recommend it if the money difference is bot big otherwise do not make an effort for it. To be improved. - we booked half board and arrived at 02 AM. We missed one meal that we already paid and we did not receive a voucher for it or have it in the last day. Since we left to the airport at 18.20 it was dissapointing especially since other hotels did it - the door between the 2 rooms was not in a good shape and did not close completely. The main bed was not comfortable and made noise each time you moved in it. - the beach is managed by the hotel but you need to pay for using it. I woyld have appreciated some kind of vouchers per room etc. - you need to pay to weight you luggage and the reception does not have coins for exchange. Why would you try to tax a basic service that requires no implication from the hotel? - do not try to book a car fron the hotel, they will try to upsell you the priciest ones and insist on paying cash with no receipt.

We were upgraded to a premium room, which was a nice surprise, and the food at the main restaurant was genuinely good. We also received a free spa day and one complimentary meal at the à la carte restaurant, both of which were welcome extras. That said, the all-inclusive package felt quite limited. There’s only one bar that serves the included drinks; everywhere else you pay extra. At breakfast they only offered basic black coffee — no cappuccino, latte, or even milk given. There was no coffee machine. It sounds minor, but I’ve never stayed at a hotel that didn’t offer at least a proper coffee option with breakfast. A few other niggles: the TV in our room was faulty (there was a line down the middle of the screen) and the World Cup channel didn’t work, while the bar showing the matches was completely full with no seats. The electrics in the premium room kept tripping, the pool tables are on a noticeable slope (but still take your money), and the WiFi dropped out regularly. We also didn’t get replacement towels during our stay. None of these are major deal-breakers on their own, but together they made the “all-inclusive” experience feel more restricted than expected need to balance up if it’s worth paying for it or going half board?. If you’re mainly focused on the food, a decent room and the occasional free extra, it’s fine. If you want a proper all-inclusive where most things are genuinely included, you may be a bit disappointed.

Dad and two sons had an amazing time. The staff are so friendly and attentive. Special mentions for Daniel, creating a such an enjoyable time around the pool. Water polo was especially fun. And pool barmen Reni and Demitris are the best. Great cocktails and even greater company. We highly recommend staying here. One more mention for Eleftheria in the buffet restaurant, she was a pleasure to see every day. So smiley. The position of the hotel, right next to the beach, adds to the experience. For a family holiday, it ticks all the boxes. Thanks all. Crete is beautiful and we will be back 🫶
