We stayed for five nights in a 2-bedroom villa. The villa was spacious, with 2 great bathrooms. It is very modern, with a large terrace and a small pool. The room was clean. The hotel is built on/in a hill; you can use a buggy to drive you around or can walk using stairs. Our room was very high up, and we walked up and down every day, very doable if no mobility issues. The main pool is very long and great for swimming; there are plenty of chairs available. The beach has fewer sun loungers, and it can get full but doesn't feel crowded. The beach has a mix of stones and sand. The breakfast buffet is served at the restaurant next to the pool and has a large and good selection of food. We had half board included and ate mostly at the hotel. The menu is changing daily, and the food was tasty. They also had a great sommelier; she made excellent wine recommendations. All the staff was really friendly, and there was a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. We walked to Chania Old Town one evening and had dinner at a nice restaurant recommended by the hotel.

We travelled to Domes Zeen Chania with our 16-month-old and had an absolutely wonderful time. The resort has a great human scale — intimate and cosy, yet with everything you need to feel truly comfortable. The staff are the real highlight. Warm, attentive, and genuinely caring — especially with our baby. They noticed every little detail and were always one step ahead. You feel truly looked after, not just checked in. Baby facilities are excellent — everything is available and the team is proactive about it. The Kids Club is fantastic, welcoming children from 4 months old. The staff there are professional, Montessori-inspired, and wonderfully adaptable with the tiniest guests. ❤️ Our room was beautiful with a gorgeous view and a lovely pool. The food at the Restaurant Beach House is good — fresh ingredients and generous portions. It leans international rather than strictly local Greek, and some dishes are a little heavy on the sauce, but for the price, the value is great. The Brunch is very good 😜 One honest note: the hotel beach is quite small and pebbly — the only thing we found a bit disappointing. Worth planning a day trip to the nearby beaches! Overall, a rare gem that combines boutique charm with genuine family friendliness. We would absolutely come back. Highly recommended! 🙌

We had a fantastic experience at the Domes Zeen Chania. The staff were welcoming, friendly and forever helpful with everything you needed. The rooms were always immaculate and came with all the amenities; something that is rare in most hotels. The breakfast was outstanding and was in such a beautiful location. The beach was beautiful and had lounger service. Always had a bed available at anytime of day. The bar provided a wide array of drinks and some marvellous takes on traditional classics. Most definitely worth a sampling. The walk along the track to the old town harbour took about 30 minutes with lots of restaurants and shops on the way. The hotels recommendations for eateries in the old town of Chania were definitely the best. The food was authentic and full of Cretan charm. Also the taxi ride is less than 10 minutes and they always get a taxi for you straight away. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone.

Just great, splendid and tasteful. Big variety of all possible options to meet individual needs, couples, groups, families.. Staff is so nice and willing… Super rich varied breakfast, lots of local traditional delicacies… And most precious is Chris, from beginning to end he was there for us and our needs, his warmth, kindness and professionalism are amazing! Perfect service, exceptional humanity and attitude… ❤️ He deserves the biggest thanks for this unique experience and we hope this will reach the hotel management how great person works for them and somehow appreciate it, thank you!

Me and my girlfriend stayed in chania at the start of april, we had incredible weather which was only matched by the phenomenal staff and hotel at domes zeen. Honestly some of the best service we have ever had, being looked after is an understatement. We were made feel so welcome and comfortable and had 24/7 service from the staff in and out of the hotel. Chris and Anastasia were fantastic and really made our trip! Gave us a very personal and special feel to the whole holiday. The hotel rooms, pools, beach and restaurants were all just as amazing! We will 100% be returning to domes zeen!!
