Absolutely amazing start to our honeymoon at Domes Zeen. From the second we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. The entire staff is so welcoming and kind. The concierge was incredibly helpful in making local recommendations and helped us book a boat tour which was amazing. The rooms, restaurants, and pool were all stunning. We loved the wine tasting and olive oil tasting activities that were complimentary during our stay. We were able to easily walk into town from the resort - a nice surprise - but felt it was still remote enough to truly relax and unplug. We will absolutely be back!

The room was phenomenal and the communal areas were really nice. The breakfast area was magnificent too. The swimming pool was very good. The pool water could perhaps be a bit cleaner; the beach could do with some improvement – it was nice but not exceptional; the gym was incredible. However, I don’t think that at this price we should have to pay extra price for yoga or Pilates, it should be included in the price, and I don’t understand why the Kids club is closed on Sundays – it’s a hotel, we’re paying for a service, and it’s peak season, so there should be enough staff, especially if we’re spending a long weekend there at this hotel; we do hope that on Sundays we can still enjoy all the hotel’s facilities. Otherwise, the room was lovely and the staff member was very friendly.

We absolutely loved our stay at Domes Zeen Chania. We came here for part of our honeymoon, and from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly special. Everyone was so welcoming and attentive throughout our entire stay, and the level of hospitality really stood out. The property itself is beautiful. The design, landscaping, beach, and pool all have such a relaxed and luxurious feel. They also do an amazing job creating a different atmosphere throughout the day. One morning we had breakfast by the pool while violinists were playing, and in the afternoon there was a DJ by the pool. Those little touches made the hotel feel really special and unlike anywhere else we stayed. The pool area is gorgeous, and the hotel is also very family friendly without taking away from the relaxing atmosphere. They offer supervised childcare, dedicated spaces for kids, and even a separate children’s pool. We also have to mention the spa. The staff there were incredible and the treatments were honestly unbelievable. Everything from the moment you walk in to the actual treatments feels extremely professional and thoughtfully done. The entire experience was so relaxing and easily one of the best spa experiences we have ever had. Our room was also excellent. Everything felt very new, modern, clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. Most importantly, we want to personally thank Marianna, Angela, and George. They were amazing. Their professionalism and hospitality were exceptional, and they genuinely went out of their way to make our honeymoon special. The small things they did for us throughout our stay made such a difference and are a huge part of why we will remember this hotel so fondly. Domes Zeen is obviously a beautiful hotel, but the people are what really make it special. We felt taken care of from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. We would absolutely come back and cannot recommend it enough.

There is nothing at Domes that can’t be done. They went above and beyond with their kindness and their service. Need them to make a baby puree and bring it to your room? No problem. They overhear it’s your birthday (without you telling them, just causal conversation amongst yourself), enter to have a surprise set up! It’s my first visit to Greece and I just want to shout from the rooftops how much respect I have for a country that is so welcoming to tourists. Thank you concierge for sending us to Balos lagoon. Thank you for arranging dinner reservations in town, and thank you for your parking recommendations for the large van we rented. Also, I didn’t know they had a kids club. My kids (6, 5, and 11 months) all truly enjoyed it. I fully trust and appreciate the staff at the kids club. Not only did they make sure to play games with my older children and give them a great time, they had patience with my baby and spoiled him with love. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Domes. I just wish that the suite had more privacy for the master bathroom. Other than that, everything 5 star (10 star if I could).

The pros: The hotel is nice - it feels luxurious, clean, well kept. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the facilities for children really are great. The cons: how a hotel like this doesn’t have blackouts in the bedrooms is beyond me. I’m super sensitive to light and I could never get the curtains fully closed. I also felt that the distance between the family villas and the beach/pool wasn’t properly communicated when I booked. The golf carts are permanently busy and even if you book they sometimes don’t arrive, so you end up spending a lot of time hiking up and down A LOT of stairs - with kids and heavy bags. The staff is mostly nice, but there’s little communication between them so you end up repeating yourself or asking for things multiple times. The verdict: it’s quite overpriced. You can’t even get free water when at the pool and a drink is ~€15. Yes it’s a nice place, but it’s probably too much money for what you get.
