The hotel setting itself is beautiful, the gardens are gorgeous however bear in mind it is old and the basic rooms are basic. We booked a 'Club Room' and paid the extra for it because of the privileges that come with that. The club rooms are located in a new wing which has 3 floors of new hotel rooms, they are not inn the old style like you may expect from this style of hotel. They are very nice indeed although the bathtub and shower are in the room and the toilet is just a separate glassed off area next to the bath and shower and the vanity is in the main room. We don't really like this kind of setup as we are older and like some privacy. There is a lil porch area on the lower floor and balconies on the upper floors. We had an idea there was a separate pool for the club rooms and asked a staff member in the grounds who told us there isn't another pool. We went to breakfast in the main breakfast area and met some people who asked what we got for the extra we paid for the club room. We said 'nothing', they said but you have a rooftop pool and restaurant? We then went adventuring and found on the 6th floor a beautiful infinity pool and restaurant above the club rooms. The staff told us they have breakfast there for club room members but hardly anyone comes for breakfast (that's because there's no way of finding out about it). We were very disappointed to say the least. We complained to the manager as there was no sign about the pool, absolutely no information in the room to say breakfast was upstairs and that it needed to be ordered the day before. We were only there for one night so didn't get the benefit from the club room we paid for. As we spoke to the Manager, we were having a pizza and indicated that The location is good, just away from the Bali Collection, a short taxi ride away. The path along the beach is fabulous for walking without traffic and bikes etc.Sadly the staff are not educated about the amenities of the hotel, especially the Club rooms but the Manager said they will implement this going forward.

Loved it. Fairly quiet, so service was super-fast and always so friendly. Had all-inclusive, and nothing was really off-limits. The infinity pool and club lounge was ultra modern and service was amazing. Got served straight away and anything I liked. Only thing I’ll note was that wine and spirits were local Balinese only. So you won’t get brand name whiskey, vodka etc., but still get cocktails made with their local stuff. Rooms were very nice too. Gardens were perfect, architecture was too

I’ve stayed at Bali Tropic Resort & Spa four times now, and it honestly keeps getting better every time. The staff are some of the kindest and most welcoming people I’ve ever met. From the moment you arrive, you feel genuinely taken care of — not in a formal or distant way, but in a warm, personal, almost familiar way. They are always friendly, attentive, and go out of their way to help with anything you need. It really feels like nothing is ever too much. The whole place is spotless. Cleanliness is clearly a huge priority here, and it shows everywhere — rooms, common areas, pool, everything is perfectly maintained. You can fully relax because everything just works and feels well taken care of. What really makes it stand out is also the atmosphere. It’s calm and relaxing during the day, but there’s also this really cool energy at night. The rooftop club is on another level — great music, amazing vibe, and a really nice place to spend the evening. It adds something special you don’t usually get at a resort like this. After four stays, I can honestly say there’s been nothing to complain about. Everything feels smooth, comfortable, and consistently high quality. You arrive, switch off, and just enjoy — exactly how a vacation should be. Definitely a place I keep coming back to without hesitation.

Bali Tropical Resort was perfect. The moment we arrived we relaxed, we had interconnected rooms with our teenagers and the rooms were spacious enough for them to chill out in. The grounds are superb, lush and maintained to perfection. Pool areas both with bars! Food was great and a nice selection for all meals. The highlight is the staff! So friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!!

Our second time staying at Bali Tropic and it definitely won’t be our last! The staff are absolutely incredible and always make us feel so welcome. The rooftop swim-up bar was AMAZING and one of our favourite parts of the trip. The breakfast was great every morning, however the dinner are more on the average side. the spa was fantastic too ! Beautiful resort, great atmosphere, and we can’t wait to come back again. For how cheap it is compared to other hotels in the area, it is 100% worth it
