Great experience, excellent location, 10 min walk to Fisherman's Village, restaurants & shops. Value for money, outstanding breakfast included in the room price, service from all the staff great, they were always clean the outside areas, very clean everywhere and the beachside pool is having a refurbishment in Nov'26. The rooms were very comfortable, great air con & fan, cleaning was very professional and super friendly staff from the very start when they picked/dropped us up from the airport, all included in the room price. I noticed during our reviews prior to booking this resort, there were numerous nationalities visiting/reviewing the resort, which was great, but their reviews were very critical of issues we found unfounded, after we have been there for 8 days! We thought the staff we all very friendly and again the resort was 1st class, maybe us Kiwi's are more laid back about minor issues. Malcolm

We had a fabulous stay at Bandara Resort - the meals, especially the variety of culturally different choices, were exceptional. The room was wonderful and the amenities at the resort were top class. What really made our stay so memorable and enjoyable were your staff - they are the most beautiful group of people we have ever met - could not fault anyone! From the moment we arrived, to the minute we left they were friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Bandara - have already recommended to friends and family! The ONLY thing that I would like to mention is we had the meal package and did not realize we could not use it for lunch on the last day. We assumed we had a full 10 days' worth of meal choices (2 meals/day). Thank you so much for a great holiday. Look forward to staying and seeing you all again.

We stayed at Bandara Resort Koh Samui in September/October 2026 as a family of four (two adults and two children), and we honestly cannot recommend this resort highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities and, most of all, the wonderful staff. The family room was fantastic, with incredibly comfortable beds and everything kept exceptionally clean. The resort facilities are excellent, with several swimming pools in different sizes, so there is something for everyone. There is also an adults-only pool for those looking for a quieter space. We particularly enjoyed the range of water activities available, including kayaking and paddleboarding. The kids' club is a real highlight for families. It has a large, well-equipped playroom with plenty of toys and activities to keep children entertained. There are also pool tables and table tennis, so there is always something to do. The staff throughout the resort deserve a special mention. From management and reception to the restaurant and housekeeping teams, everyone was genuinely friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble, and whenever we had a request, the team went above and beyond to accommodate us. We actually arrived with an unexpected problem, as my daughter and I caught a stomach bug on the flight and were already unwell when we reached the resort. We arrived several hours before the usual check-in time, but the team did everything they could to get us into our room as quickly as possible so that we could rest. We were incredibly grateful for their kindness and understanding at a time when we really needed it. Special mention to Kitti who ensured I got right food to take to hospital for my daughter. And throughout entire stay he kept ensuring we were all OK. The location is also excellent. The beach is beautiful, and there are plenty of shops, restaurants and other amenities within easy walking distance. We only had breakfast included in our package, but the breakfast selection was fantastic, with an impressive variety of food and plenty of choices for both adults and children. Overall, Bandara gave us exactly what we wanted from a family holiday — beautiful surroundings, fantastic facilities, a great location and genuinely caring staff. If we return to Koh Samui, Bandara Resort will absolutely be our first choice of where to stay. We would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful family-friendly resort in Koh Samui.

Absolutely amazing stay. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. We had 2 rooms which were spacious and had a large connecting balcony. Staff were friendly and kind - we were treated to beautiful flower displays and had cake delivered for room for a birthday and anniversary celebration. My sons attended Muai Thai in the hotel and were impressed with the skill, friendliness and enjoyment of this. Breakfast had a good choice of food and drink, catering well for vegetarians. We loved our stay here and will definitely return 💜

We had 2 weeks here in a Pool Villa and it was sensational. The staff are just wonderful and are so friendly and happy to assist with anything. The location is great, right on the beach at Bophut on the north end of Koh Samui and it gets the sun all day which is perfect. The restaurant and main bar look out over the beach and sea views. About 10 minutes walk along the beach is Fishermans Village. The main road outside the resort has restaurants if you want to try local inexpensive food. And there are a couple of convenience stores a short walk away. We had a choice of using the pool in our villa or one of the 3 pools at the resort. One of them is very well set up for families. The food is varied and good value at the restaurant. Happy hour 5 to 6pm with buy one get one free. We had a lot of cocktails! We loved our holiday here and yes we would happily come bak again.
