The hotel is absolutely amazing. The room is a whole cabin for yourself with an amazing terrace, super comfy, big room and big bathroom. The rooms are in the middle of the jungle so you get to enjoy nature and peace. It was super clean and organized. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have experienced with options for everyone (like 5/6 types of eggs and 4 kinds of juices, a salad bar and everything). The pools and beach access is amazing with incredible views to the ocean and islands. We went to the spa and it was really nice, although expensive for massages when compared to cities like Chiang Mai. All the staff is friendly and helpful, they will try to help you or advise you if they can. Only downside is the lack of activities and trips. You have one option to one beach and one timetable option. You go at 10am and come back at 11am. They have a cuisine workshop, although a bit expensive. I wish I had taken it.

A wonderfully relaxing holiday in a truly idyllic setting; perfect for families and couples. The staff were amazing; genuinely aiming to please their guests. My food sensitivities were fully and safely accommodated in the restaurants and the meals were delicious with numerous menu choices. Additionally, the cocktails were just too good! A big thank you to Bayo and staff in the beach grill Some of the accomodation is being upgraded: a few little niggles that we had were immediately resolved by the team. The resort's excursions, cooking class and massage were also very enjoyable. We would absolutely love to return to Koh Yai Yai soon.

Good: 1 – Great location – access to Private beach. The beach has shallow waters and is very safe. Good for kids to enjoy and for activities like kayaking. However not for those seeking big waves. The resort itself gives a tropical rain forest feeling, nestled within lush green landscape which has been maintained very nicely 2 – They have cottages at good distance from each other with all modern amenities. We stayed in a 2BHK family villa which was very spacious and well maintained. The interiors in villa were very lavish. The villa (F109) was located close to reception, restaurant and beach and had a sea view and garden view both. There were King size beds in both room which were very comfortable 3 – They have a large Infiniti pool by the side of restaurant with adequate space to lounge around. They also have a Jacuzzi adjoining the pool and a kids pool. Pool was well maintained and attractive 4 – They have 2 restaurants, Khayee their main restaurant serves Buffet breakfast and ala carte meals. Krachang Bar is their beach side restaurant and bar. Food was tasty and service was nice at both the restaurants. Also food and drinks are reasonably priced. The chef was able to cater to vegetarian meal requests 5 – Helpful and polite Staff 6 – Overall a great location and great resort Not so Good: Activity – We felt that the resort charges for activities were much higher then those from outside vendors, The resort quoted a higher price for Island hopping then what we got from vendor outside. Also we felt that the activity desk at resort was not very pro-active and engaging in terms of understanding customer requirements and providing customized solutions, maybe this is an area the resort could do more Koh Yao Yai Island guide: • Its a small and beautiful island. Not very far from Phuket and accessible with a 30 mins speed boat ride. Ferry can be booked easily through apps like 12go to get standard pricing. The pricing offered by resorts is usually high. Island is less explored and not crowded. Apt for someone who is looking for an offbeat and less touristy destination, but still providing luxury and convenience. One can hire scooters and explore island. The road network is simple and easy to navigate. 250-300 thb per day is the standard pricing for scooters on island We covered 2 beaches on the Island, AO Sai and Laem Had, there are many more which can be explored AO Sai – is very remote, less crowded and good turquoise waters, can easily spend few hours Laem Had – more of a sight seeing destination, narrow strip of land with ocean on two sides • We did a half day island hopping tour and covered Hong island, Hong Island Lagoon and Lao Lading Island Hong island was crowded. We spent an hour on the beach and an hour hiking to the view point. Views from the view point were beautiful. Beach was beautiful but too much crowd which makes its experience average. Not good snorkelling opportunity on this beach either. Ample food options and vendors adding to the commercial feel of the place Hong Island Lagoon – exotic destination, however too much crowd spoils it, can spend good time walking in the logoon in ankle and knee deep waters. Try to go early to avoid crowd Lao Lading – this is the island where you can spend more time. Its very beautiful and smaller and less crowded then Hong. Feels more exotic. Also a better destination then Hong for snorkelling, though the corals are not that great here Tip- start very early to avoid crowd and heat On the climb to Hong Island view point make sure you are wearing foot ware

It was my birthday, and the staff went out of their way to make it special. They created a beautiful flower decoration with so much effort, and I truly appreciate their kindness. Everyone here is very nice and welcoming, and the place itself is wonderful. I would love to visit again. What made me happiest was the thoughtful decoration on the bed with handmade flowers it was such a sweet gesture. The food was also really delicious!
