We had a really enjoyable stay at Beach Rotana, Abu Dhabi. The rooms were lovely. Clean, comfortable, and a great base for the week. Food was a big highlight too. The steak restaurant was amazing, and the buffet restaurant was excellent with plenty of choice and consistently good quality. The Indian was nice and we enjoyed it, but we didn’t rate the Italian. The only thing to flag for anyone coming for winter sun is that the sun drops behind the surrounding buildings in the afternoon, so the pool area can lose the warmth and the water feels colder later in the day. It would be less of an issue if the pool was on the front side of the hotel. That said, it didn’t spoil the trip, and there are still plenty of sunny spots earlier on. One tip: the “Dine Around the World” option is absolutely worth it for the variety and value. We just wish it was explained more clearly, and that it was offered as something you could buy before arrival. It wasn’t well communicated on the website or at the time we booked, so we only properly understood it once we were there. Overall, a great hotel with excellent dining and a strong standard of accommodation. We’d happily return.

Our stay was more than great, but what truly made it unforgettable was Mr. Charles. He is an absolutely amazing person with an incredible sense of humor and the kindest heart. He made us feel welcome and comfortable, always spreading positive energy and joy wherever he went. Mr. Charles has a special way of making people smile and laugh, and he really brightened our days. His friendliness, warmth, and genuine care made a huge difference and turned a beautiful stay into an unforgettable experience. We will never forget him and the happiness he brought to our time here. One thing that really touched us was that he even remembered our names. It may seem like a small detail, but it meant a lot to us and showed how much he truly cares about the guests and their experience. The hotel itself was clean and pleasant, but it was Mr. Charles who made this place feel special. We truly hope to come back one day and see him again.

We spent New Year’s Eve at the garden beachfront gala dinner, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The food and beverage variety was excellent, we truly enjoyed it. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff were very attentive, regularly checking on us to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. However, there are a few areas that could be improved, particularly the entertainment. The only performance was a DJ located near the dessert section, and there were no additional elements such as live singing, dancing, violin, or other performances that could have made the New Year celebration more memorable. Additionally, there was no fireworks or drone show visible from the garden view. This was especially disappointing as the hotel’s Facebook posts showcased beautiful fireworks and drone performances, which did not reflect the actual experience on the night. While we enjoyed many aspects of the evening, the difference between what was promoted and what was delivered was disappointing, and we hope this can be improved for future celebrations.

Outstanding Stay at Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi offers a wonderful blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience. Its location is ideal, right in the city centre and directly connected to Abu Dhabi Mall making shopping and dining incredibly easy. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very well maintained, with comfortable beds and beautiful views of either the sea or the city skyline. The staff are consistently friendly, professional, and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure guests have a pleasant and memorable stay. The hotel’s facilities truly stand out, especially the private beach and swimming pool. Dining options are exceptional, with 12 high-quality restaurants offering a wide variety of international cuisines. Breakfast is particularly impressive, with an extensive selection to suit all tastes. Overall, Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi is an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. Its prime location, outstanding service, and relaxing atmosphere make it a hotel I would happily recommend and return to. I would also like to recognise a few staff members for their exceptional professionalism and service: • May, Front of House — her contagious smile and dedication truly stand out. She consistently goes above and beyond to make everything perfect. • Christopher, Buffet Chef — perfection could be his middle name. His passion and pride in his work genuinely shine through. • Mohair, Pool and Recreation Manager (apologies if I’ve misspelled his name) — always visible and engaging with guests to ensure everyone’s experience is the very best. • Pool Bar Team: Sunil, Dharmesh, Manoj, Vamesh and Aansh, among others — your service is truly world-class. Always attentive, welcoming, and smiling, even during the busiest periods. Thank you for a fantastic stay.
