Fantastic experience at a gorgeous hotel. Our room was perched over the sea (which is tidal so sometimes you could see the rocks below and other times lapping water) and there were hornbills and monkeys in the trees all over the resort. Plenty of options for where to eat but our favourite was the Thai which did amazing food and had splendid views. Every member of staff impressed us and went out of their way to be kind and helpful, we can't speak highly enough of the service.

The resort is beautifully situated, blending into the natural rainforest complemented by plantings. Beautiful beach. The entire area is well maintained, and the staff is friendly. Close to SkyBridge and waterfalls. You need to take a taxi to get to the nearest town. Delicious and varied breakfasts - buffet. Free mini bar replenished daily.

2 days in, 3 more days to days to go. We arrived to celebrate our 3rd Wedding Anniversary and our Baby Moon. Initially booked this resort only for one night but after spending half a day here we canceled our reservation at another resort and decided to spend the entire 5 days 4 nights vacation in Langkawi at Berjaya. Mainly because of the service and warmth of the staffs here. They are really sincere at what they do and speak. Special mention to Nurashida who helped to check us in, we got our room before 3pm! The room service team who decked our room with thoughtful messages and gift. Mr Kalaiselvan for making sure we received a delicious pizza. I'm pretty sure my wife will have more to say after we check out but I'm one to say my appreciations while we're still here. This legendary resort has got so much to do. The room is superbly clean, the bathroom, toilets and amenities are up to trend and up to date. We're spending the whole day at the pool and really just can't get enough. Breakfast was superbly delicious with wide variety. There's a library, sports bar , convenient store with all your daily needs, and the restaurants are abundant. Definitely coming back here in the next quarter. Thank you for being the Gem of the Island guys! My wife and I really appreciate your hospitality. Well done Berjaya!

I really enjoyed my stay at the resort. The chalet was very pleasant and there was a good choice of food options on site. They were quite reasonably priced so no need to go off resort in a grab. The location of the resort is good, just next to the skybridge. The beach is great and there is a lot of wildlife to see. The wildlife tour is recommended. Only one slight down spot - the beach bar. Mostly this is fine but one night we were down there and the staff had pumped up the volume to a ridiculous level to please a pair of drunk Australian women. We asked for it to be turned down but they would not. This is not really the correct vibe for this bar - a more chilled out atmosphere where you could talk would mean people would have an after dinner drink there. I am sure a few couples like us, turned up and were put off by the loud music and left without buying any drinks. You are literally leaving money on the table here - keep the ambience chilled instead of mad club level music and you will sell more drinks.

Our second time at Berjaya and it was even better than our first. Welcoming responsive staff who work hard to ensure a great experience. Comfortable, well serviced room. Delicious well priced food. I love the location which never feels too crowded ( except the pool area which could do with more sunbeds to avoid the early morning scramble!!). Overall we will be back!!
