One of the much-loved resorts of Mauritius, Coin de Mire Attitude sits between Cap Malheureux, the picturesque fishing village, and Grand Bay, it's more upbeat and lively neighbour on the northern tip of Mauritius. Overall great experience with one or two small notes! Food was easily the highlight and standout service provided, every night offered something different and tasty, I never saw the buffet run out or leave anyone stuck for choice! Pool facilities are nice and clean, though notably frigid in winter months which is to be expected. We visited in June and it was never too crowded, and we never had to fight for a sunbed in the sun. Furthermore, sunbed towels are free to use, and replace everyday for fresh ones should you desire. Rooms were great although be careful taking food and non-water drinks in as ants will always find them! We did run into a large hunstman-like spider which was dealt with by the hotel thankfully. The location is tricky for me, as its relatively far away from any busyness which we liked, there are bus and hotel taxi services easily available, however for a two week stay we almost considered that we'd seen all there was to see of the area. If youre happy hiring a car its maybe the best option as transfers etc to activities are relatively expensive. Language is interesting as we had a mostly positive experience with staff on the French speaking island, most staff spoke English well enough to help with most enquiries although we had one case of a staff member ignoring us at dinner after he realised we spoke English which caught us off guard. My only other staff complaint would be that a particular member gave us lots of positive attention and was lovely throughout the holiday, though he almost forced us to write a positive review about him on TripAdvisor as he specifically Sat down with us and wouldn't leave until we completed it - then notably not conversing much after we completed the review. Activities - paid and free - in the hotel are organised, I would highly reccomend the catamaran trip, we had a tour total of 12 people on a spacious boat with lots of lovely rum and fresh food, I dont think we saw a better priced experience anywhere, and the staff were excellent. It was our highlight of the trip. Overall we were very happy with the hotel and it's facilities, and mauritius in general, if you want a quiet and comfortable stay then you wouldn't go far wrong coming here!

Great 3 star hotel. Staff are so friendly and helpful. We got a great room high up with thatched roof and large balcony. On a busy road, separating hotel from beach, which was noisy in our first room. But within minutes of mentioning to staff we were moved to great room. Buffet meals are OK. A la carte was delicious in a peaceful spot but is not open every day.

I went there for my son's 1st Birthday and we had a blast. The staff were outstanding and so sweet and friendly. We even get a free lunch from them after they notice we travel from south and we were tired. Food for dinner was not so good but breadfast was awesome. We had 2 rooms and unfortunately both was dirty. One room even smell of pee and my cousine got a false eyelash of a stranger stuck on her face the next morning when she woke up which made us think they did not even change the bedsheets. But the staff made our stay fabulous 🥰
