We recently spent a wonderful week at Friday Attitude, and I can truly say it exceeded all our expectations. ​The room decor perfectly reflected the feel of being on a tropical island—tasteful, natural elements created an authentic island vibe right away. The cleanliness was spotless throughout the entire hotel every single day. ​The food was really special for us and truly captured the local flavors. We highly recommend the hotel’s own Kot Nou restaurant—it is an absolute must-try! ​What truly made our stay even more special, though, was the staff. Their kindness, warmth, and attentive attitude went above and beyond. Wonderful 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 It was our first visit to Mauritius and Friday Attitude was perfect! From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with friendliness from the staff. The hotel itself has a gorgeous boutique, beach vibe with wonderful planting throughout. The food and drinks are excellent! There is an excellent variety of food with a focus on authentic, local, delicious dishes to choose from. Last but not least, the beach is stunning! White sandy beaches with crystal blue waters to relax in and snorkel in. We loved it so much we changed our last day at another hotel to spend it here and were welcomed back by staff and other holiday makers. An Exceptional Stay at Friday Attitude 🌴❤️ We spent a wonderful weekend at Friday Attitude, Trou d’Eau Douce, and it was truly one of our best hotel experiences in Mauritius. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The Hotel Director personally came to greet us, which was such a special and memorable gesture. The front desk team and all the staff were incredibly warm, friendly and attentive. As Mauritians, we truly felt valued and welcomed. The hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with cozy and comfortable rooms that made our stay very pleasant. The swimming pool was lovely and perfect for relaxing, while the animation added a fun touch to our stay. Overall, the hotel is beautifully maintained, and all the staff are kind, attentive and caring. ❤️ A special thank you to the team member who arranged a ground-floor room for my mother with such kindness and understanding. The food was excellent, especially the calamari with vegetables, prawns, vegetable curry prepared by Kamlesh, and the Saturday barbecue. A huge thank you to Mr. Ruben, the Sous-Chef, who went the extra mile and prepared éclairs especially for me. ❤️ Thank you also to Kishan, our Nepali bartender, for his excellent service and wonderful smile. Finally, a special thank you to the gentleman who accompanied us all the way to our transport at checkout and gave us such a warm goodbye. It was a simple gesture, but it truly touched us. This was our third visit to Friday Attitude and once again it didn't disappoint. The staff are so friendly and helpful especially Chef Ruben, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are well equipped and the selection of foods in the restaurant is great. The restaurant really does try to cater for everyone. All in all I can't praise the hotel and staff enough and we will definitely be back again!!!
