This was my first time in Bali, and I came to celebrate my friend's birthday on 31 May. We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Seminyak and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. On my friend's birthday, we spent the whole day out exploring Bali. When we returned to our room, we were surprised to find a birthday cake waiting for her. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made her very happy. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's attention to detail and kindness. We also spent time at the swimming pool, where Teja provided excellent service. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. His professionalism and warm attitude made our experience even more enjoyable. All the staff were friendly, always smiling, and provided outstanding service throughout our stay. The hospitality was exceptional, and we felt very well looked after. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bali and would happily stay here again. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip and my friend's birthday so special.

I loved it from the first step inside. The staff, they were extremely kind and friendly, we booked 5 nights and the room was very clean and comfortable, with a view at the pool. I was happy to use the gym almost every morning. Also, the Seminyak Kitchen restaurant has the best food in the area.

5* Resort, incredible breakfast buffet at hotel restaurant Seminyak Kitchen with a DIY ramen counter and lots of tropical fruit as well as local cuisine, crepe and waffle station, soft serve, western classics, fresh juice and unlimited drinks. Rooms are very clean with daily housekeeping. Bottled water provided in the bedrooms and bathrooms and laundry service also available if required which is very reliable and efficient! The hotel is also very well maintained and no complaints at all! Spa, gym and pool facilities as well as a table tennis table. Large pool lounge area with pool bar. Children’s entertainment and also hotel activities. Always events and games on at the hotel (e.g. bingo, mini games, foam pool party, fire show, buffet) make sure to check out the activities list! Absolutely loved the mini games at the poolside and the pool staff Yudi, Dika, Hary and Rio were such good fun! Large schedule of exercise classes too! Really enjoyed the early morning rooftop boxing session with Widi and the morning yoga session with Surya! The yoga session was so relaxing in the morning sun! Complementary beach buggy shuttle service and popcorn machine! The beach is also within walking distance. Small gestures like complementary hand fan, bracelets and keyrings with notes left in rooms. The Seminyak Kitchen team were so kind and accommodating! The kitchen team very kindly made us vegan Nasi Goreng and vegan Sayur Lodeh upon request despite these not being on the menu! Both were so tasty and it was great to have been able to try authentic Indonesian food adapted for a vegan diet! The Seminyak Kitchen hospitality team were also all so kind and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and being so attentive. A big shout out to Bunga (Flower) for gifting us a Balinese Hindu necklace after we had enquired and wishing us happiness and luck! Also thanks to Teja for the tips on the Canggu La Brisa market which only runs on Sundays (otherwise we would have visited on Saturday and completely missed it!). The hotel is very well maintained and staffed, the security team are also so helpful scanning all vehicles that never the premises and looking out for Grab and Gojek taxis that you have ordered. Altogether, the Courtyard hotel is a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend staying here for a visit to Seminyak! I would definitely stay here again!

We just wrapped up our third stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Bali Seminyak Resort, and it continues to be our absolute favorite spot! The property is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and fantastically set up for families traveling with children. A huge shoutout to Sebastian, who ran the cooking classes for our kids—they had a complete blast and couldn't stop talking about it! Another major highlight was Maria at breakfast. Her people skills are second to none, and she was so incredibly warm and engaging with our kids every single morning. Speaking of breakfast: hands down the best breakfast buffet I have ever had. The live juice station is incredible, the pastry selection is top-notch, and the egg station blew us away. Most resorts refuse to make custom scrambled eggs at the live egg station, but Courtyard truly goes the extra mile. We did hit one small snag upon arrival regarding our room setup: we had requested connecting rooms multiple times prior to check-in and were initially told none were available. However, after pushing the issue and requesting a refund, the management stepped up and managed to find us a connecting room. While it took a bit of persistence on our end, we appreciated that they ultimately resolved the situation to keep our family together. As return guests, the incredible service, child-friendly activities, and unmatched breakfast keep us coming back. We'll definitely be back for stay number four!

We always enjoy staying at Courtyard by Marriott Seminyak, and it continues to be one of our favourite places to stay in the area. The property has a great atmosphere and consistently delivers a comfortable and relaxing experience. Breakfast at Seminyak Kitchen is always something we look forward to. The variety and quality are excellent, and it’s a great way to start the day. The team there do a fantastic job keeping everything fresh and well presented. Some of the rooms on the bar side of the property have recently been renovated, which is a nice upgrade. The rooms on the opposite side are still very comfortable and perfectly adequate, and they do have one advantage — you tend to get much more shade around the pool area in the afternoons. For guests who burn easily, that extra shade can make a real difference. Another highlight for us is enjoying an Australian steak at The Seminyak Kitchen. Being Australian myself, on our last visit we actually bumped into an Australian cattle farmer in the lobby, and even he was highly complimentary of the quality of the beef being served — which says a lot! Overall, it’s a great hotel in a fantastic Seminyak location, with friendly staff, great food, and a relaxing pool area. We always look forward to coming back. Off to Gili Trawangan in a few days, but it’s always nice to come back to this resort.
