Had a wonderful stay at Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning natural scenery, making it a perfect place to relax and disconnect. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the food was excellent, and the facilities were well maintained. What made the experience truly special was the staff — everyone was genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive, always going the extra mile to make the stay comfortable. Their hospitality made a real difference. A memorable experience overall, and I would happily visit again. Highly recommended.

This was my third time booking at Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island, but my first stay at Desert Islands Resort & Spa. I chose this property because it has, in my opinion, the most beautiful beach on the island. Unfortunately, this stay was disappointing and will likely be my last. Compared to my previous visits, the hospitality felt noticeably worse. The service was less organized, and throughout the stay I felt pressured to purchase additional services and to check out quickly rather than being made to feel welcome and relaxed. The sofa bed was prepared with a wool blanket, and because of allergies we requested a non-wool alternative. Despite explaining that it was due to allergies, there was unnecessary resistance before another blanket was provided. The most frustrating part was the checkout experience. More than AED 1,000 was added to the bill as taxes and fees, despite these charges already being included and paid through Booking.com. I had to challenge the charges before they were removed. Whether this was an error or not, the situation felt misleading and left a negative impression. Guests should not have to scrutinize their bills to avoid being charged twice. The beach remains beautiful, but unfortunately the overall service, organization, and lack of transparency did not meet the standards I experienced during my previous stays.

Service is exceptional, with staff consistently attentive, welcoming, and detail-oriented, ensuring a smooth and comfortable stay from arrival to departure. Dining experiences are also memorable, offering a variety of well-prepared dishes with scenic views that elevate every meal. Overall, it is an ideal destination for those seeking relaxation, nature, and luxury in one place. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway or special occasion.

I had an excellent massage experience at this place. Honestly, the level of professionalism, cleanliness, and reception was very high. I would like to give special thanks to Pema for her outstanding work and attention to detail. She made sure to ask about the areas of pain and focused on them, and the massage pressure was perfectly balanced and comfortable from start to finish. It’s clear that she works with dedication and truly cares about her job. My experience with her was one of the best massage experiences I’ve ever had. Best hotel staff in the UAE. Don’t know how to name it but they are the bwst care giver to visitoes experiences. Besides the beautiful nature and animals around and they love you much, not afraid and you enjoy the beauty of their daily behaviour. I witnessed firat and only time in my life that a male bird dancing in front of the female one to flirt. That was just next to me and worth to see that. Everyrhing was perfect,staff, hotel facilities and of course the sea water amazing… thanks for everything.
