This past weekend, I spent my honeymoon at the Desert Safari Anantara is Sir Bani Yas. Overall my experience was okay, although not for the price that was paid. 1. I requested an upgrade, with of course the willingness to pay more. Although, the reservation staff gave one price then another. They were late with their response to my emails and because if their tardiness, I choose not to upgrade. 2. Once we arrived, we were requested to spend more money for a transportation fee. The expensiviness of the fee was not the point, it was the lack of courtesy and hospitality to wave the fee for the trouble and lack of promptness of our request via email. (We still had to pay) 3. The staff were all nice and helpful. Although, they were over worked and short-handed in the restaurant areas. Often times we were left waiting and sometimes forgotten about. This made it difficult to enjoy the ambiance with the consistent looking around for our server, food or drinks. 4. The safari, beach and pool we the highlight of our trip. Night life....well, there wasn't any. They didn't even have a shisha or evening entertainment. I really wanted to us to enjoy our stay, especially because it was meant to be one of our most memorable times together as husband and wife, but for the cost of money that was paid, we expected better.

Excellent service, awesome weekend getaway. Great options for kids to play and spend time. 1 advice, note that it's a remote island. Ensure all essentials (and non essentials as well) are packed before arriving at the resort. There are no shops inside to buy stuff. If you are a vegetarian, opt for dine in which allows you to order dishes like dal and paneer that are not on the menu.

We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary and truly appreciated the effort of the staff in making it special. From the warm welcome at the port to the smooth check-in, everything was handled with care. A special thanks to Retno and the reception team, who were always ready to assist us, as well as the activity guides who made our experiences memorable. Our kids had a wonderful time at the kids’ club and pool, which made the trip even more enjoyable for the whole family. The dinner reservations, stay, and activities were all excellent. Thank you to everyone for making our anniversary stay unforgettable.

the place is a must to visit. there are lots of activities to do. we did the Nature and wildlife drive, the drive takes place in 4x4 shared vehicles. participants may witness scène of playful behavior of animals and Nature. and at early 6:30am we did the advanced mountain biking where you can explorer the wildlife park, off road tails. we enjoyed the beach which is 3min. walk from our hôtel and dont forget to bring your snorkling gear with you, the beach is a perfect for snorkling😃😃. a lot of fun .

We stayed at Anantara Desert Islands for one full week, and our experience was truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality made us feel special. A big thank you to Mr. Hassan for upgrading our room since we were staying for a long time — it was such a wonderful gesture and made our stay even more comfortable and memorable. Dining Experience 🍽️ • Al Shams Restaurant – We loved having lunch here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. The staff were amazing (Produnce, Odep & Rodel)friendly, attentive, and always smiling. The relaxing island view made every meal more enjoyable. 🌊😋 • Savannah Restaurant – We had one of our best dinners here. Elegant and cozy atmosphere, perfect for evenings after exploring the island. The dishes were beautifully prepared and delicious. Special mention to the barista — the best! Any drink we requested was perfectly made and so enjoyable(Staff name: Sandeep, Jackie & Michel) • The Palm Restaurant – Breakfast every morning was excellent! A wide selection of food — tasty, fresh, and prepared with care. Huge thanks to Prudence, Odep, and Rodel for their amazing service. Their warm smiles and attentiveness made every breakfast feel extra special. Overall: Amazing location, delicious food, relaxing island vibes, and exceptional staff — everything exceeded our expectations. This resort gave us one of the best vacation experiences, and we definitely look forward to returning again soon! Highly recommended to anyone visiting Sir Bani Yas Island!
