We absolutely loved our stay at Domes of Elounda, Autograph Collection. All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, but we would especially like to thank Elina from the reception team, who was absolutely fantastic. She was always kind, helpful and genuinely willing to go the extra mile, giving us wonderful recommendations and making sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. Her dedication really stood out, and she deserves our warmest congratulations. We would also like to mention the lovely lady who looked after the cleaning of our room, whose name was Butterfly — “Flutur” or “Petalouda”. She was extremely attentive, kind and sweet with our children, and always made us feel very welcome. The hotel itself is beautiful. We loved the concept, with the different little houses and the possibility of walking around and enjoying the various areas of the resort. The beach is absolutely wonderful, and the food was fantastic. Our only recommendation would be to consider replacing or renovating the beach furniture. The sun loungers and parasols are starting to look quite worn and dated, and with such a beautiful beach and stunning surroundings, it would be a shame not to have more modern and elegant furniture to complete the experience. Overall I'd give it a very strong 4.4/5. Particularly recommend this for family stays as there are many quality of life optimisations for families with small kids. We were pleased with our stay and our room as a family of 4. The family pool is great, with 3 options in the same area depending on your kids' comfort with pool depth and size. Food wise, surprisingly pleased with options and quality, although as a minor point, consistency was not on point. Chicken would sometimes be on the overcooked side, other times just right. The buffed is even surprisingly good. The quality of the breakfast is not as high as I'd like it, but by no means poor, compared for example to Romanos (Costa Navarino) quality. Could use some improvement, but good quality overall. The beach is not the best, not terribly expansive or sandy, but the water of Elounda bay make up for it. Activities for kids were also fairly well organised with a bubble show twice during the week we stayed, music etc. All restaurants had children menus. The room were pleasant and nicely laid out. One issue, perhaps nitpicky, is the lack of drawer space. Overall would definitely recommend and visit again.

The staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. The food was outstanding, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options, while the private beach and pools created the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for a luxury resort in Crete that combines comfort, elegance, and genuine Greek hospitality, Domes of Elounda is the perfect choice. We can't wait to return!

Our room in the newer adult only section was beautiful, clean, quiet, and had a spectacular view. The adult only portion is set apart from rest of resort - which is why we booked it - but it does mean you need to walk 10 min around steep hills or call for a buggy. The beach was also great - direct access from the hotel, sandy, and plenty of beds. We also enjoyed the location - outside the busier towns in the area but super close and had access to great tavernas. The only problem was they gave us the wrong room when we arrived and claimed it was an upgrade when it clearly wasn’t (we were in a smaller, darker room on a loud path with our bedroom window inches away from where people walked and the buggies drove). They moved us the second day to the room we booked. Klara and Rena were very helpful in getting this resolved and in the end they solved everything nicely. It’s a large family forward resort and if we had kids it’d be perfect. The food was a little lacking for Greece. Overall the newer rooms and especially the beach made this very relaxing stay. We would recommend it and come back ourselves.

Our stay at Domes of Elounda was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the kind and welcoming staff, who provided outstanding hospitality throughout our stay. The entire property was beautifully maintained and exceptionally clean, from the rooms and common areas to the pool and surrounding spaces. Every detail reflected the high standards you would expect from a 5-star hotel. We also really appreciated the buggy service, which made getting around the spacious property easy and convenient, especially with the family. Overall, Domes of Elounda offers a wonderful combination of luxury, comfort, cleanliness, and genuine Greek hospitality. The friendly staff made us feel very welcome, and we would happily return for another stay.
