We had a wonderful stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Sharm El Sheikh and would like to thank the team for making our holiday so enjoyable. A special thank you to Mohamed Barakat, the Front Desk Manager. From the moment we arrived, he made an outstanding first impression. He was attentive, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Although one of our family members had an issue with their booking, Mohamed handled it efficiently and made sure everything was resolved smoothly. Thanks to him, our vacation started on a very positive note. We would also like to recognize Mai at the open buffet restaurant. She was always smiling, welcoming, and full of positive energy. It was clear that she genuinely enjoys her job, and her excellent attitude made every meal even more enjoyable. A big thank you as well to Chef Mohamed, who was kind, approachable, and always ensured the food was of excellent quality. The Gala Dinner was exceptional. The variety, quality of the food, and the service exceeded our expectations. It was one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, the hotel staff were kind, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made us feel comfortable throughout our vacation. The only area that we believe needs improvement is the service at the pool and beach bars. Unfortunately, we noticed that guests who regularly tipped seemed to receive priority service, while others had to wait longer. We also felt that some of the bar staff were not very welcoming—they rarely smiled or engaged with guests, which made us feel uncomfortable asking for drinks or snacks. In addition, there were several occasions when we were told that basic items such as beer or ice were unavailable for extended periods. We believe these essential items should be replenished more consistently. Another concern was how some of the bar staff interacted with children. We observed that when parents were present, they were friendly and welcoming, but when children approached the bar alone, their attitude was noticeably less patient and less kind. As parents, this made us feel uncomfortable allowing our children to collect drinks or snacks by themselves. Despite these points, our overall experience was excellent. We truly enjoyed our stay, the facilities, the food, and the hospitality. We would happily recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

We’ve just had a fantastic 7-day stay at DoubleTree by Hilton and would definitely come back….beachside. But where were the cookies? The service throughout the hotel was excellent, with all the staff being friendly and helpful. A special mention has to go to Fatima in the beachside restaurant, who was absolutely amazing and always made us feel so welcome. Walid in the bar was also fantastic – friendly, attentive, and a real credit to the hotel. The drinks and food were average, but there was always something we found which was fine. The entertainment wasn’t the strongest, but that certainly didn’t stop us having a great time – we made our own entertainment and had plenty of laughs! The beach was one of the highlights of our holiday. The snorkelling was absolutely amazing and the beach bar was a great. The location is another big plus, being right next to Soho Square, which is perfect for an evening stroll, shopping, or a drink. Overall, we’ve had a fabulous week and made some wonderful memories.

We had such an amazing stay and would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the entire hotel team for their outstanding hospitality and service. A special thank you to Mr. Ahmed Sherif for his professionalism and kindness, Katy from Guest Relations for always being helpful and caring, and Fatma & Mohamed from the restaurant team for their excellent service and warm attitude throughout our stay. Also, a huge thank you to all the Front Office, Restaurant, Housekeeping, and Guest Relations teams for making our experience so comfortable and memorable. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The restaurant deserves a very special mention — the food was absolutely delicious with a huge variety of choices every day. Everything was fresh, tasty, and prepared excellently. We truly enjoyed every meal. Thank you again to the whole team for making our stay wonderful. Our stay at this hotel had both positive and negative experiences. The first impression was disappointing. At check-in, we received no warm welcome or explanation about the hotel. We were simply asked for our passports, given our room keys, and that was it. Breakfast and lunch are very good, but dinner needs significant improvement. There is too little protein and not enough variety. Honestly, the lunch menu would make a much better dinner buffet. The pool bar snacks are also disappointing. The portions are very small, with just a tiny burger and a few fries. As an all-inclusive guest, you expect a satisfying portion without having to go back immediately for more. The staff throughout the hotel are very friendly and always smiling. A special thanks to Ali Baba from the animation team, who genuinely makes an effort to talk to every guest and create a welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, the rest of the animation team is much less engaging, and there are very few daytime water games or fun activities. The evening entertainment is also quite limited. The rooms are older than they appear in the Booking.com photos, and housekeeping forgot to replace our towels almost every day, forcing us to call reception repeatedly. After we left our first review, the hotel management contacted us immediately to resolve the situation. They offered us a special meal prepared by the chef, and this was an excellent gesture. We chose grilled chicken breast with mashed potatoes, and it was perfectly cooked. It honestly made us wonder why this quality of food is not available to all guests every day. Returning to this hotel for the second time says everything about how wonderful it is. The main reason I came back is because of the incredible staff, who truly make every stay unforgettable. The rooms are excellent, and our room was cleaned perfectly by the lovely Yousef and his supervisor Mohamed Atwa,whose attention to detail was outstanding. The entertainment team was absolutely amazing, I honestly fell in love with their energy and talent. Their dance performances were the best, especially Mohamed and Ola, who are fantastic. The reception team was also wonderful, always welcoming and helpful. The restaurant staff, including both the waiters and chefs, consistently went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. Every single member of staff is amazing. I would need pages to fully describe their kindness and professionalism. The hotel itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and very well organized. From the beach to the swimming pool, everything was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be coming back again.
