Arrived in December and forgot to make this review... its not amazing at all but before the negatives I will say the Russian part of the hotel and the other nationals is NOT noticeable, no issues with this other than a separate restaurant. The bar inside the lobby was great the lads running it were great fun and made the evenings more entertaining than the entertainment put on offer. The pier and lifeguards were amazing including one lifeguard on the pier who would bring us a water in the mornings without even asking us which made us spend a lot more time on the beach than we expected. The customer relations were also very nice but did seem extremely concerned with any issue offering lots of extras which wasn't needed but I guess its to try and maintain the 4.2 stars this place somehow has Now to start with service, it was strange as staff did literally the bare minimum with no realisation how much people have spent and become very rude if they are not tipped, the man that showed us to the room was odd kept lingering around when we said we are ok to explore the room ourselves and remained at the door expecting a tip for showing us the room..is this not in the job description? The food was terrible...almost everything gave me an upset stomach resulting in multiple visits to the toilet through the night and my BIG issue with the food is the "themed nights" almost every single night wasn't on theme and it just became more and more disappointing. Italian night for example had NO pizza... just scrap the theme nights and serve the same rubbish every night. One thing that really annoyed our group was the constant harassment from staff in the massage spa and beach activities. We would say no to the same person each day about 5-6 times it just became really frustrating. The aquapark isn't great, my sister split of foot open on the floor and myself sprained the ligaments in my ankle after coming off one of the slides so please be wary when using the aquapark. al la carte was terrible and was incredibly rushed we had eaten 3 courses in 20 minutes just had no time to get through to the next course and food was mediocre anyway wasn't really anything special and just felt like table service with main restaurant food. There was also loads of construction going on with no corded off area someone was smashing a balcony before refurbishing it and the rubble was literally falling onto the floor and path where people walk...if this was a busy time for the hotel there would most likely be some serious health and safety lawsuits heading their way but overall it was just ridiculous and I think based on how the majority of people acted staff from the hotel or the spa or beach if this is the general culture of Egyptians I will not be returning to this country if I have to tip everyone I say hello to.

Extremely disappointing stay – serious hygiene and service issues I stayed at Sea Beach Edge by Rotana (formerly Sea Beach Aqua Park) and unfortunately the experience was extremely poor, especially considering this appears to be under new ownership. Cleanliness was unacceptable. The room was clearly not cleaned properly. I found multiple hairs in the bedding and visible stains on the pillows, giving the strong impression that the bedding had not been replaced after previous guests. This is basic hotel hygiene and completely unacceptable. Air conditioning and air quality were alarming. The AC unit was very noisy, and the vents were full of mould, dust, dirt, and even spider webs, all of which guests are expected to breathe in. I have photos as evidence. This is a serious health concern, not just a comfort issue. Bathroom conditions were disgusting. The toilet area was filthy, particularly behind the toilet. The shattaf (bidet sprayer) was broken, making the bathroom unpleasant and unhygienic. Poor and unreliable Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow and often did not work at all, making it impossible to rely on for even basic use. Unacceptable treatment at checkout. The hotel refused to allow my pre-booked pickup taxi to enter the hotel, forcing me to take my luggage outside the gate with a 7-year-old child. What made this worse is that the same taxis are allowed inside when dropping off arriving guests. This clearly shows that the hotel prioritises new arrivals and shows little care for guests who are leaving. Overall, this stay was far below any reasonable standard. Cleanliness, health, and basic guest consideration were all lacking. A change in ownership should mean improvement, but sadly that was not the case here. I would not recommend this hotel until major improvements are made in hygiene, maintenance, and guest service.

We had the best time here in this resort. Every staff members are so kind so helpful and humble. Never felt like we are in need of something. they always took care of all our needs. Definitely coming again and definitely recommend this resort Edge by Rotana the people. The resort is so clean, food was great and we had the greatest time with ourkids . No complaints at all. Just waiting for my next vacation ❤️

We have just returned from a week at Edge by Rotana Sea Beach & Aquapark, and overall our experience was very positive, especially traveling with young children. The resort is large and well organized. Our room was fantastic, spacious and comfortable for a family. A very special thank you to Kareem A. Hamid from housekeeping: the cleanliness was absolutely impeccable, and thanks to him our room was always perfectly tidy, fresh, and welcoming. His dedication and attention to detail really made the difference.The private beach is beautiful and ideal for families. There are plenty of sunbeds and shaded areas. The sea is stunning, and the jetty makes snorkeling easy and safe. The Aquapark is definitely one of the highlights of the resort. The slides, water attractions, and pools kept our children entertained for hours. Everything is clean and well supervised by lifeguards. It can get busy at times, but that’s expected in a family-focused resort. The entertainment team is excellent. The hotel’s massage and spa service is absolutely outstanding—well equipped, peaceful, and extremely professional. A special thank you to Kareem, my massage therapist, who was exceptional at understanding all my needs. His skill, sensitivity, and ability to tailor the treatment perfectly to my requests made the experience truly relaxing and beneficial. One of the best massage experiences I’ve had in a resort. A special mention to Nikita, who was incredible throughout our stay—full of energy, always sweet with the kids, and very professional. We also want to give a special mention to Mohamed Sallam at the reception, who welcomed us warmly and supported us with great professionalism. He was always helpful, friendly, and attentive, making our daily requests smooth and pleasant. A heartfelt special mention to Abdo at the bar, who treated us with outstanding courtesy throughout our stay. He always made us feel like VIP guests, serving us with great care, kindness, and professionalism. His warm attitude and impeccable service truly elevated our experience. The main restaurant offers a good variety of dishes, especially for breakfast. The quality can be a bit inconsistent, with some meals better than others, but there’s always something suitable for everyone. The themed restaurants are a pleasant alternative, though not gourmet-level. If you’re looking for a relaxing and fun family holiday, with a beautiful sea, great pools, a fantastic aquapark, and exceptionally caring staff, Edge by Rotana is an excellent choice. A special thanks to Nikita, Mohamed Sallam, Abdo, and especially Kareem A. Hamid, who truly made our stay unforgettable.

I really liked the experience in this hotel, rooms are comfortable, pretty big, everything works there. Service is really good, perfect cleaning, good work of food and beverage department. Location is good too, not far from the airport, beautiful coral riff convenient entry to the sea for kids. Clubs and animation for kids are perfect, you don’t need to worry about what your children are doing and how they are treated.
