Avoid This Hotel – Terrible Management, Extortion, and Noise! ​Our stay here was an absolute nightmare from the moment we arrived. We checked in with our kids at 12:30 AM, only to be met by an incredibly rude receptionist who essentially extorted us for a bribe. He openly hinted that he wouldn't let us into our room early unless we paid him under the table. After rejecting a $5 bill, he only handed over the keys once we gave him €10. ​This pay-to-play attitude is everywhere. Waiters completely ignore you unless you tip them €2 upfront, and the bellhops use aggressive, fake politeness just to squeeze cash out of you. ​The food is awful—overly spiced, packed with onions and herbs, and entirely repetitive. If you have children, expect them to eat nothing but plain pasta, pizza, and potatoes every day. On top of that, the atmosphere is chaotic. Drunk guests shout in the hallways all night with zero intervention from staff, and the hotel ran loud, disruptive construction drilling throughout the day. Save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about hospitality.

We’ve had a fantastic stay at Eftalia Marin. From start to finish, Azat made our holiday extra special — genuinely one of the best hosts we’ve ever had anywhere. Friendly, helpful, always smiling, and nothing was ever too much trouble. If Türkiye was full of people like Azat, we’d come back every single year! The hotel itself was also the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in. Everywhere was spotless all day long, and the speed the staff work at clearing tables, tidying up, and keeping the hotel looking immaculate is honestly second to none. No matter what time of day it was, everything always looked fresh, clean, and well looked after. The food court on the island is an absolute must-visit, and the water park was brilliant for all ages. We also tried the Mexican à la carte restaurant and absolutely loved it — easily one of the best meals of the holiday. A little tip for anyone staying here: the premium/paid alcohol is noticeably stronger, but the main lobby bar serves bottled Efes from early evening until 11pm, which was a great bonus and definitely worth taking advantage of. Overall, everyone in our group had an amazing time. Great atmosphere, loads to do, amazing staff, and memories we’ll all keep. We’d happily recommend Eftalia Marin to anyone considering a holiday in Turkey.

We stayed at Eftalia Marin Hotel with our wife and 2-year-old and had a great experience overall. Food was very good with plenty of choice — breakfast was my favourite. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, and our cleaner Hacer was superb. Staff were friendly, especially Azaad from guest relations who helped us a lot, including warming baby milk. Laundry service was also reasonably priced and convenient. There are shops inside the hotel with fair prices, and plenty of pools, kids’ activities, and access to Eftalia Island. Travel to Alanya is possible by dolmuş, although it is quite far (around 120 km). Overall, a fantastic family stay — 5/5 ⭐️ highly recommended.

The worst service ever 😒 we went there with our children at 12:30 Am waiting to enter our room and the receptionist was a very rude Guy who shamelessly Said : "IF YOU SEE ME I SEE YOU " meaning give me money if you want the room 1 hour earlier . Which means he had rooms but didn't want to help us , I gave him 5 $ and he says : You are not seeing me ,so I gave him 10Euro and we got our room. Then the waiters never see you if you dont give them 2 Euros. As well as the person who takes your luggages continuously trying things to get money from you pretending to be helpful. The food is horrible very spicy full of herbs and onions. Same food everyday, nothing to eat for children. Only pasta ,potatoes and pizza there. The hotel is noisy with drunk people shouting on the hall All night nobody caring about your vacation. They were continuously drilling all day opening tunnels without caring about the tourists of their hotel! The worst hotel I have ever been!
