Well the Flamingo is an old one, but still overall a good one. Excellent value for what you get. Location is fantastic. Staff is very pleasant through out your stay. House keeping did a great job of keeping our room looking fresh. Lots of shops, coffee places and food options on the property. The room itself had a great view of the sphere and the Ferris wheel. The not so good room specifics. 1 the room only had 1 remote control and there were 2 tvs meaning only 1 was usable. The shower control knob was at times feeling like it was going to break. The bathtub would not get hot. I called engineering and was told that they would send someone up to fix the issue. No one ever came to the room and no follow up call. So a soaking tub was out for the weekend. With the shower and bathroom issues I still would recommend the Flamingo for a vegas stay. Also the thermostat for the Ac/heat could definitely use some modernization. The renderings of the remodeling projects in the lobby look promising as well. I look forward to see how things progress in future stays.

The Flamingo was an overall ok place to stay, but I would not stay here again. - Check in was a mess. Yes there was a long wait but that’s not my complaint. The person checking us in didn’t explain any of the fees we were paying. Didn’t explain anything about the hotel. Also didn’t explain how to get TO OUR ROOM. She said “walk through the casino and you’ll find elevators”. So we walked through the entire packed casino (with all our luggage) and never found them. Went back to the front desk and they were literally across the hall? From the front desk??? Anyways. - The room itself was fine. Weird half open shower door so water gets everywhere. Pillows were old so the feathers poke you in the head. Service was bad. WiFi was a mess with only 2 total devices allowed to connect. Not at a time. 2 total. So if you connect, then disconnect, you do not get to reconnect. Wouldn’t have been a big deal but again there was no service. - The location is perfect. It’s right on the strip and near all the things. The absolute best thing about the Flamingo Hotel is the walk ability to everything. So, if you don’t care about certain comforts or amenities, but care more about location, this is your place. If not, I’d look elsewhere.

My wife arranged a birthday getaway for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our three-day stay on the 16th floor. The experience, enhanced by the exceptional hospitality of your staff, was truly remarkable. Special commendation goes to the bell staff for their prompt, courteous, and helpful service. We have decided to make this our annual vacation destination. I extend my gratitude to my wife for selecting Flamingo as our accommodation. Thank you, Flamingo, for an outstanding experience.

I’ve stayed at this location several times a year & never had an experience as bad as this last time. I stayed Sunday-Thursday. My room had no shower curtain so everytime we showered there was water everywhere. Housekeeping never once came to my room my entire stay. I called for a bed change on the 2nd day & they brought a stack of sheets up & asked if I wanted them to send someone up to do the beds I said yes. They told me they would let the supervisor know to send someone. No one ever came for the entire time of my stay. One of the nights I get up at 1am to find I have no water. So I called to let them know & all they said was there is a water issue u should have received a note under your door. I told her I didn’t & she said the water wouldn’t be back on until 7am!! 6 hours with no water!! & she didn’t even bother to ask if I needed any brought up to my room. Complimentary water wouldn’t have been nice!!! Had I known ahead of time I would be without water for 6 hours I would have been prepared!!! A huge inconvenience being that I had to be at a meeting early the next morning!!! With no water to shower or brush my teeth!!! The following day there was no hot water at all!!! There was also a whole other issue with parking & I was billed when I should not have been. I was told to stop at the front desk at checkout & that charge would be removed. So I did & the front desk said I don’t know why they told u that we don’t do that u have to call our billing department. A lot of small inconveniences added up to being a bad experience all the way around. I texted the virtual assistant & was told I would receive a call back from management & have yet to receive a call. Truly disappointing experience

The hotel is a solid choice on the Strip, with a great location and comfortable rooms. Overall a convenient and enjoyable stay. Important parking note: if you park on property and check in with your car, the parking fee is charged to your room. You can enter and exit using your room key. Do not pay at the parking machines. After checkout, just leave the garage with your room key to avoid being charged twice
